Chapter 34: Vol. 1: Chp 34 Auras Clash {Pt. 4}
After the separation of class 1AB, Meisei and Utsukushi found themselves reading on the top of a wooden building that resembles a sheriff's office. Once they made it onto the roof of the building, Meisei readied a blue, magic-filled, bow and arrow. Utsukushi on the other hand was keeping watch for any red-clothed opponents.
"Like we planned out in the gate room; Once you spot any enemies, I shoot this bow into the air-- signaling an attack, as well as serving a distraction for the enemies," Meisei explained, making Utsukushi remember the plan.

FLASHBACK
Going back to before the match started, class 1AB is formulating a plan.
"So, are we going to come up with an actual plan or what?" Meisei questioned with an annoyed tone. "We've only come up with separate ideas, we can't do them all."
Within the huddled class, Naderamu made herself known once again, "It's better than not contributing at all." Naderamu spat out, turning her head towards Utsukushi.
Utsukushi then adorned a look of shock, "I don't know what to say! I'm not used to thinking so much this early in the morning!" She stated defensively. Naderamu could only roll her eyes in irritation.
"Guys, arguing isn't going to fix our problems right now." Tanjo voiced, walking into the conversation. "Look, It's right to assume that they can utilize magic better than us. But I'm certain that they're lacking in strength." He hypothesized.
"Okay, what about that can we put towards making a plan?" Naderamu questioned, a vexed look still being present on her face.
"That means that if we can give ourselves the opportunity, we can overpower them. By either catching them off-guard or teaming up and fighting in pairs." Tanjo explained, getting rapid nodding from Akogare.
"Strong warriors always manage to overcome challenging feats! We're blue auras, meaning that we can beat them using magic! Since they have a red aura, they probably have to resort to fighting tactics." Akogare reasoned, then noticed a faint smirk on Tanjo's lips.
"Okay, but how are we going to make that a plan?" Naderamu further questioned, seemingly losing any remaining anger and substituting it with curiosity.
Tanjo turned his head towards Naderamu, opening his mouth, "Well, you saw how the training field looked? We could use all of those old western-styled buildings to our advantage--like the rooftops-- and be split up into groups." Tanjo planned, taking a breath of air and then continuing.
"Meisei-" Tanjo started up again, turning to the short white-haired first year, "You can form a bow and arrows, right?" He asked, getting a light nod from Meisei. "Great, if we were to split up into teams, we could have Meisei make a signal as for when the other class is spotted. The sooner we can identify where they are, the better of a chance we have. We can't risk getting caught off guard." Tanjo finished explaining, taking note of everyone around him having a similar look.
Determination.
'So that's what the old man said about determination during those awful spars.' Tanjo realized in silence, taking in the severe looks.
Sukudo proceeded to walk forward into the huddle, "so who would be partnered with who?"
"Well, for who goes with Meisei, I considered Utsukushi-- she's fast and most likely able to get herself out of a sticky situation if she was faced up against a student of the other class," Tanjo explained, getting nods from most of class 1AB.
Sukudo joined in with the nods but still was curious, "But what about the rest of us?"
"Well, I mean-- Akogare and Sukudo could be good. Sukudo could blind a few students while Akogare wraps them up. It's risky, but would be helpful if you can pull it off." Tanjo further planned.
"So that leaves me and you as a team then?" Tanjo heard Naderamu inquire.
"Yup. Unless any of you have objections." Tanjo replied, adding in a question.
As class 1AB remained quiet, it silently answered Tanjo's question. "Great."
Naderamu walked to stand beside Tanjo, looking back at all of her classmates. "Understand the plan?" Naderamu questioned her classmates, getting a nod in response, "good."
Suddenly the sound of a speaker turning on was heard over the combat training field.
"Attention, Class 1AB, and 1AR: The match will be starting shortly, a buzzer will be played in a few moments. Once said buzzer is played, the match will commence and both classes will be permitted to duking it out. Thank you for listening"
"Sounded like Mr. Akushon," Sukudo guessed, getting a few shrugged shoulders as retorts.
"We should be getting ready, who knows what we'll see from the other class. Mr. Oshieru did say they were more skilled than us." Tanjo declared, following it up with reasoning.
With that said, class 1AB started to walk towards the front gates of the combat training field-- directed to do by Mr. Oshieru. Tanjo stood walked in the front of the class, turning around with his back facing the gate,
"Remember, stick to the plan."

"Got it!" Utsukushi responded enthusiastically, forcing herself out of her thoughts and looking back to Meisei.
Utsukushi then proceeded to scan their surroundings, keeping an eye out for any unknown enemies.
While Utsukushi was looking around, she spotted a small red ant crawling up the side of the building she and Meisei were camped on. The ant then found its way climbing up Utsukushi's leg, making her shake it off in response. 'Disgusting' she thought with a face that could only be described as pure disgust.
"What was that?" Meisei suddenly asked, making Utsukushi look back at him with a confused look.
"What was what?" she asked in response.
Meisei didn't respond, but his facial expression turned from confusion to one of complete and utter fear. Utsukushi followed his line of sight and spotted--
"BUUUUUUGGS!!!" Utsukushi shrieked.
Tons of little red ants can be seen scaling the side of the buildings around them. Coming out of the cracks of the wooden walls, climbing from the ground up, or any other means of traveling. But one thing was certain, they were coming from somewhere.
Utsukushi then turned towards Meisei again, "Shoot the arrows!" She yelled, forming blue cat features on her hands and legs, then sprinting away.
Meisei then prepared his bow, stocked with an arrow that was ready to be released. Reeling back the bow, he let go of the string that was attached to the bow and let the arrow fly.
"I can leave now!" Meisei cowardly declared, running off of the rooftop he was on, landing on the ground by rolling.
Utsukushi was seen hopping from roof to roof as the red ants continued to chase after her. Meisei looked back and noticed that he, too, was being chased by little red ants.
Unaware to him, the ants were carrying little red balls. The red balls then started to shine brighter and brighter until,
*BOOM*
Multiple explosions started getting set off behind him. The explosions didn't seem to be destroying the surroundings, but they sure could blow stuff back. Explosions were also chasing after Utsukushi on the rooftops. One of the explosions was close enough to make her lose her balance and fly off of the rooftops, landing harshly onto the ground.
"Owww" Utsukushi groaned, rubbing her head.
"Ahem." A feminine voice was heard being cleared.
Utsukushi then looked up and saw a girl her age with messy walnut-brown hair that reached down to the bottom of her neck, and chocolate brown eyes. The girl was towering above her, seemingly taking advantage of Utsukushi's current immobility.
The girl then opened her mouth to speak.
"I hope you like my bombs!"
The walnut-brown-haired girl then opened her hands that were originally made into fists to hold something, releasing multiple small red balls to fall and roll onto the floor towards Utsukushi.
In this crisis, all Utsukushi could think were the words-
"Uh-oh"
