The Village Disciples

THE KODAINA FOREST

A man in a black hooded cloak with red streaks and red letters on the back can be seen jumping from tree branch to tree branch, seemingly navigating throughout the tree-filled biome. Keeping a keen eye out, he's noticed possible pathways throughout the forest, as well as noticing blue marks on the majority of the trees.

After fifteen minutes of the cloaked figure hopping around, tree to tree. He suddenly spotted two people jogging on the ground, no. 'Kids', jogging on the ground. appearing to be lost, the kids were aimlessly traveling through the forest.

'What the hell, why are little brats wandering inside the Kodaina forest?' The cloaked figure thought to himself, confused as to why a pair of kids were seemingly stranded in the middle of the forest. Until he noticed one was male and the other, female. 'I'm just going to chalk it up as two teenagers fornicating in a forest.' The cloaked figure guessed, not seeming to care all that much.

He decided to continue on his mission until he noticed a pair of hawks flying in his direction, he almost ignored them without a second thought, but he saw something interesting. 'those hawks are bright blue all around, no birds of those types should be around here. In fact, I don't even think hawks are blue in general.'

His curiosity getting the best of him, he looked closer. Noticing that they weren't real birds, 'They seem to be coming from the west side of the forest.' He then changed his direction to head west, in search of the hawks' source, he noticed another teenager with noticeable pink hair, along with blue magic being emitted around her hands and feet. When he spotted her, The cloaked man noticed that she was climbing a tree, then looking out in the direction of where the man came from.

'So those other two teenagers weren't the only ones out here,' the cloaked man mentally noted, 'but what I'm confused about is the fact that I haven't spotted any potential threats or backup for the teacher Itami is fighting.' Then it hit him, 'the teacher lied, damn it!'

After realizing the teacher's plan to most likely make him and his partner back off, the cloaked man decided to return to his partner, deciding that he explored enough of the forest.

'Of course, Regashi had to send us here.'

FLASHBACK(FURUSATO VILLAGE)

The sound of footsteps could be heard as two men with green hair, each of different lengths. Were walking through a hallway, then stopping at a door. Walking through the door, the two took a few steps into the room they were currently entering and kneeled.

"You called, Boss?" Asked one of the green-haired men,

"Yes, Itami and Doryoku. I have called you to tell you about a mission I have set out for you" Answered the 'Boss',

"May we ask what this mission is?" Asked one of the Green-haired men named Itami,

"This mission requires you to gain intel on a village not too far out from here, I'm specifically choosing you two due to the village being nearly surrounded by wildlife on all sides. With both of your 'nature indulging' capabilities, this fits you perfectly." Informed the Boss, doing finger quotes when explaining his reasoning.

"Ah, HELL YEAH. If it involves forests, we're in, Boss!" The other green-haired man named Doryoku stated, annoyingly enthusiastic.

*BONK*

Itami knocked the top of Doryoku's head, stopping him from his little celebration. making him elicit a profanity or two, "Could you two please focus." Demanded the Boss,

"Yes, Boss, sorry Boss." The green-haired duo apologized,

"It's okay, I get you were excited, I expect good things from you two. Now, I'm going to have Imawashiki here transport you two to a forest nearby the village. Not too close enough to be spotted, but enough just to be in a relatively close walking distance." Announced the Boss, who also gestured to his left, but on Itami and Doryoku's left, Imawashiki walked out from the corner of the room's shadowed corner. Shocking the duo for not noticing he was there sooner,

"Greetings, Gentleman. I will be escorting you to your destination." Declared Imawashiki in a creepily calm manner,

"It will be the same method as used when you guys raided Asahi." Informed the Boss,

"Alright, we will do our best," stated Itami, making a smile form on the Boss's lips.

"Good, I have high hopes. Now, Imawashiki. If you would." The Boss gestured to Imawashiki,

"Yes, my lord." Imawashiki complied, then walking over to the green-haired duo,

Once Imawashiki came closer to the duo, a ring of bright yellow and orange fire started to rise around the three. Moving in a spiral motion, Imawashiki started to turn towards the boss mid-process.

"Make sure you don't get caught, Imawashiki." The Boss Cautioned, making Imawashiki nod and wickedly smile.

"Will do, Lord Regashi."
