The Strongest Brain in the Interstellar

Chapter 64 - Starting School

The Beska Intermediate Academy is located on Planet 732, known as one of the better intermediate colleges in the area, with favorable conditions compared to others in the surrounding planets.

However, the school is not situated on the mainland where Jiang Hui currently resides.

Planet 732 is one of those terrestrial planets where land is primarily concentrated in certain areas. Most of the livable land is grouped together, with some smaller landmasses scattered around the main continent. Some of these are uninhabitable regions that humans rarely enter, while others are private properties owned by the wealthy, completely closed off to the public.

The largest educational zone on this planet lies outside the main continent and is the most concentrated area for education. Several renowned intermediate colleges are established there, along with many high-quality primary schools and kindergartens, though they are managed separately from the intermediate colleges.

To attend school, Jiang Hui must take an aerial shuttle, crossing the sea to reach the other sector.

Fortunately, these shuttles are quite fast, even quicker than city buses. It only took Jiang Hui about three star hours to travel in a straight line from her residential area in the fourth ring to the sector where Beska Intermediate Academy is located. Otherwise, she might have had to leave earlier to wait at the school.

Upon disembarking from the shuttle, Jiang Hui was greeted by a landscape that was starkly different from that of the main continent.

This sector is called Kakezhou, which is roughly one-tenth the size of the main continent. In contrast to the technologically advanced cities on the main continent, this area retains much of the planet’s original landscape.

Although it doesn’t have the ideal sunlight like Blue Star, it does have plenty of plants, water, and air. The water and air are similar to those on Blue Star, and even if there were differences, Jiang Hui wouldn’t notice any anomalies in her interstellar body.

The plants here are entirely different from those on Blue Star. Most of them are in shades of reddish-brown, with very few green plants, and any greenery is mostly transplanted from the capital planet. In fact, the native plants of Planet 732 are all in brownish-red tones.

Moreover, the plants are generally quite tall; there’s hardly any small grass, and even the shrubs are at least as tall as a person. The trees, of course, can reach heights of ten to twenty meters, which is quite common on the continent.

Fortunately, this area has preserved the planet’s more primitive appearance but isn’t entirely in its original state. For aesthetic reasons, some trimming and adjustments have been made, making the scenery relatively pleasant to look at.

After disembarking from the shuttle, Jiang Hui seized the opportunity to call a skyship at the waiting area, which took her directly to Beska Intermediate Academy.

She had navigated the route herself, and the college didn’t seem too far. However, feeling unfamiliar with the area, Jiang Hui thought it best not to take any risks. On the first day of registration, she wanted to handle everything efficiently.

In less than five minutes, she arrived at the college.

As she stood in front of the grand entrance of Beska Intermediate Academy, Jiang Hui felt a mix of emotions.

She couldn’t believe it; she was really back in school, starting anew.

Jiang Hui felt a bit empty-handed starting school, almost like she was on a trip.

Fortunately, she noticed that the high school students here were much more independent than their peers on Blue Star. At the entrance, she hardly saw any students accompanied by their parents; most, like her, came to the college empty-handed.

Today was the first day of registration, and the students at the entrance were mostly newcomers, so she didn’t need to ask for directions—she could simply follow the flow of people to the reception area.

The registration process was fairly standard. Classes and majors had already been assigned, but students still needed to verify their information and sign in person, and they had to arrange their accommodations themselves.

One unique aspect was that the registration was handled manually, with students from each class voluntarily signing up to assist with the process. While machines could work more efficiently, it was essential for students to interact with their classmates. This approach helped them get to know each other early on and added a personal touch, rather than facing cold machines from the start.

Following the system’s assignment, Jiang Hui found her class registration area.

The student handling their class’s paperwork was tall, with blonde hair, blue eyes, and fair skin—a typical example of the Eurobalo race. However, his demeanor was quite serious, sharply contrasting with the friendly nature of the two students beside him.

Jiang Hui approached to complete her registration. She quickly realized he was just as stern in his manner as he appeared, speaking in a rigid tone that made her a bit uneasy.

He seemed like the kind of person who was difficult to get along with. But since she was only there to register, she didn’t mind—she just wanted to get through the process.

As for who he was… they were all classmates, and she figured she would find out eventually. There was no rush.

Jiang Hui calmly reported her name and information, proceeding with the identity verification registration.

The student didn’t change expression upon her arrival and didn’t greet her either. Jiang Hui saw no need to engage further, merely nodding slightly as she focused on completing the paperwork.

However, while verifying her information, the student seemed to notice something and gave her a somewhat surprised glance.

The look wasn’t overly complicated, just a bit strange. Jiang Hui couldn’t tell what on the information board had suddenly drawn his attention.

Still, he maintained his composure, and this curiosity didn’t last long. He quickly returned to processing her registration and completed her enrollment.

Jiang Hui soon received a notification from her comm device, confirming that she had successfully registered at Beska Intermediate Academy and that her student status had been transferred. It wished her a pleasant start to the school year.

She nodded in thanks and hesitated before asking, “Excuse me, do you know where the academic affairs office is? I might need to consult them about a few things.”

She didn’t want to trouble him, but Jiang Hui had already asked a few people along the way, and unfortunately, they were all newcomers as well, even more confused than she was.

Since there was no one else waiting behind her, she thought the student might have more knowledge about the place.
