Chapter 51 - I’ll Come to Find You Again When I Have Time

Chapter 51: I’ll Come to Find You Again When I Have Time

“It’s about time to eat something,” he said.
“But compared to hotel food, I’d much rather taste Auntie’s cooking.”

He picked up his phone and waved it in front of Xin Chun Jiao. “Auntie~ you wouldn’t want to…”

The boy’s words sounded like the devil’s whisper in Xin Chun Jiao’s ears. After much hesitation, she gritted her teeth and reluctantly agreed to the student’s request.

Once inside the house, Cao Shaoyang acted even more relaxed, showing no intention of discussing any serious matters. Instead, he asked her to prepare lunch while he roamed the house like a treasure hunter, exploring every room.

In truth, he already knew the layout of Xin Chun Jiao’s home.
He was merely using this as an excuse to keep provoking her.

He opened each door to inspect the rooms, leaving Xin Chun Jiao’s bedroom—also her streaming room—for last. Under her nervous gaze, Cao Shaoyang eventually stepped inside.

When he emerged, he was spinning a phone in his hand—her phone, left in the bedroom.

“So Auntie, you’ve been streaming from your bedroom all along. I couldn’t tell at all when I watched your streams,” he remarked.

“Here, Auntie, your phone.”

Xin Chun Jiao felt despair wash over her. He not only knew she’d been streaming but even returned her phone in such a bold manner. Either he was foolish or completely unafraid of consequences.

By revealing her identity as a streamer, he was clearly threatening her, implying that she wouldn’t dare report him to the authorities and would have to comply with his demands.

Forget it. As long as those photos could be deleted, she’d treat it as being bitten by a dog.

With trembling hands, Xin Chun Jiao took her phone. As her finger inadvertently brushed over the sensor, the screen unlocked, displaying a new WeChat message in the notification bar:

[Wei Wu The Great]: Task: Seduce the big guy in front of you who’s holding your photos and trying to threaten you!

Xin Chun Jiao: ??? How does Wei Wu The Great know I’m being threatened? Is he watching me? No, wait!!!

Xin Chun Jiao suddenly realized something.
Could it be? No way…

With a mix of apprehension and curiosity, she hesitantly called out to the figure who was leisurely exploring her home:
“Wei Wu The Great?”

Hmm? Has she figured it out?

Cao Shaoyang turned around with a mischievous grin, meeting Xin Chun Jiao’s nervous gaze.

“Surprise!”
“Are you shocked? Surprised?”

Xin Chun Jiao covered her mouth in astonishment. “Great… Great Emperor, is it really you?”

Cao Shao Yang casually leaned against the kitchen counter, supporting himself with one arm. Smiling, he said, “What do you think, Little Chun Jiao?”

The nickname “Little Chun Jiao” was something only Wei Wu The Great had used during their private chats. No one else knew about it.

Even though she could hardly believe it, the evidence was undeniable.

Thankfully, it turned out to be Wei Wu The Great and not some random person who had stumbled upon her embarrassing moments, taken photos, and tried to blackmail her.

After confirming his identity, Xin Chun Jiao connected the dots between this prank, the punishment tasks Wei Wu The Great had given her during her streams, and the seamless photo-snapping when the elevator doors opened earlier.

Flustered and embarrassed, Xin Chun Jiao grabbed a fluffy slipper from nearby and hurled it at Cao Shaoyang. “Great Emperor, so it was you messing with me all along! You nearly scared me to death just now!”

Cao Shaoyang caught her wrist mid-slap, brought her hand close, and kissed it playfully.

“I only came to check if you were obediently following my orders. Since you’ve been such a good girl, I couldn’t resist taking a few photos to commemorate the moment.”

“I don’t believe you. You clearly planned to scare me. Otherwise, how could you have taken a photo the moment the elevator doors opened and said something so threatening?”

As Xin Chun Jiao spoke, Cao Shaoyang had already pulled her out of the kitchen, where she was preparing ingredients, and into his arms.

He leaned in close, his breath warm against her ear, and asked in a deep, magnetic voice, “What threatening words did I say?”

“‘Auntie, you wouldn’t want…’ that line!”

Xin Chun Jiao retorted, “What do you think? Who threatens people like that?”

“Why not? Didn’t Auntie experience it firsthand today? Besides, that’s a classic opening for the ‘Widow Series.’ Auntie, would you like to learn something new?”

“Huh? Learn what new?”

“Learn this: ‘Auntie, you wouldn’t want your daughter to find out about what’s happening between us, would you?'”

“Stop!”

“Then you’ll need to follow my instructions, ma’am.”

“Please, don’t let my daughter know about this. As long as you don’t tell her, I’ll do whatever you want.”

“Then, ma’am, start by cleaning up for me.”

Obediently, Xin Chun Jiao knelt down, complying with his demands.

In the end, the planned lunch was never cooked.

Afterward, they ordered some takeout and, post-workout, satiated their hunger with a simple meal.

“Little Chun Jiao, I’m leaving now. We’ll talk on WeChat. Now that you know my true identity, I’ll come find you again when I have time.”
