The Journey of Alex (A Pokemon Tale)

So here I am on a plane.

This would be the first time on one.

Honestly I was a bit excited.

I never rode one even in my previous life.

I followed Mama Joy as she led me to a seat in first class.

I remember the last time we went on a trip like this was just last month.

Mama Joy introduced me to all her cousins and sisters.

That was a shock in a half.

Not because they all looked alike.

I knew that from my past life but boy did they like pinching cheeks *shiver*.

"Okay Alex, take the window seat. This should be your first time right?"

I was excited to say the least and quickly climbed onto the seat.

I wasn't tall enough so Nurse Joy had to help me up.

as soon as I got up I looked out of the cabin window.

"whoooooa, mama Joy! we are so high up already!!" I exclaimed

Nurse Joy and the flight attendant who saw me gave a small chuckle at my excitement.

I know I am acting like a kid but this was actually exciting for me.

As the plane lifted off, my stomache felt heavy as the plane rose.

Almost like a neverending rollercoaster that never ended.

It was an amazing new site for me.

I could swear my eyes were sparkling as I looked at the clouds passing us by as we rose above them.

"Is this what heaven looks like?" I said with awe in my voice.

I started hearing more chuckles around me as I noticed all the passengers were staring at me as well.

I quickly sat back down in embarrasment as I took the incubator and hugged it to my chest.

After what seemed like minutes, I found myself dozing off as I fell asleep.

As the plane landed I felt my tiny frame being shaken awake.

"huh?! wha?!"

"Time to get up Alex, we are here."

"Wha?! Already?! But I missed the landing!" I whined.

Nurse Joy looked at me with amusement.

"Don't worry, I am sure you will have plenty of chances to ride the plane again in the future." 

I grumbled a bit as I got off.

As I stepped off the plane and got into the Airport Terminal, I noticed a lot of people and pokemon around me.

This place was a hub teaming with pokemon from around the world.

Luckily, I played all the pokemon games all the way up to the 9th Generation.

So far, all of them looked common.

As we exited the airport I looked around the city.

The city looked very modern and peaceful from what I can see.

"Uhm, I know this is after the fact and everything but, where are we?"

Nurse Joy just released a sigh of exasperation.

"It took you this long to ask?"

"Well, yeah. Honestly, I dont really care about where we are as long as I was with you but since we are already here, I figure it didnt hurt to know now."

Nurse Joy just pinched between her eyes as she looked at me with a tired smile.

"Well Alex, Welcome to Veridian City in the Kanto Region."

"Kanto?! Really? Like the region where Professor Oak lives?!" I said excitedly.

"Yep. Also, from what I have heard, Professor Oak makes regular stops here so there is a good chance you will get to meet him every once in a while." said Nurse Joy with a cheerful smile and a V sign with her hand.

"Awesome!!!"

Wow, this is gonna be great for me.

I was planning to go to the Kanto Region to start my journey in the future but this is really helpful for me.

Although, now I was feeling a little bit of regret.

There was a pokemon I was hoping to get in the Unova Region first.

Guess I need to figure out a way to solve this problem in the next 8 years before my own journey in this region starts.

As we waited for who knows what, an officer Jenny suddenly appeared with a patrol vehicle.

"Hey Joy!!" Said the Officer Jenny.

"Hey Jenny!! It's been a while."

Honestly I don't understand how they are able to tell each other apart.

They all looked exactly the same and they name each other either Joy or Jenny.

Then Jenny turned to face me.

"So this must be the trouble maker you warned me about eh?" she said with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

I turned to her turning up my cuteness to the max.

Secret Attack: Adorableness Kaio-ken times 10!!!!

I quickly ran behind Nurse Joy and peeked out from behind her as I turned on my big fat puppy dog eyes at the same time.

*gurgh*

Officer Jenny clutched her heart as she looked at me with want.

I looked up at Nurse Joy.

"Big Sis Joy? Who is this pwetty sistah? she wooks soh kowel."

*Kack gurgh*

Nurse Joy who was completely used to my antics now turned her face away from Jenny and was shaking with laughter while trying to hold it in.

At that point, Jenny got out of her Patrol Car and walked towards me, picked me up and put me in her patrol vehicle all in one swift motion before she turned back around to Joy.

"Im taking him. He is mine now and I wont give him back." 

I just leaned out the window of the patrol car.

"Am I being kidney-napped?" I said with an adorable expression.

At this point, those who were close enough to hear what I said, all turned to look our way while some of them quickly pulled out their phones and started to dial something really fast on their phones.

Officer Jenny, who found herself in the spotlight started to sweat buckets as she saw the precarious scene she caught herself in.

Nurse Joy seeing how this was going slowly walked up to me and hit my head with her fist.

*Gagk*

"Aunty Joy!! That hurt!!!" I said while holding the top of my head with both hands with tears threatening to come out.

"It was funny in the beginning but your taking it too far." Nurse Joy said to my with a stern expression.
