Chapter 8: Chapter Eighth : Path In Anonymous
Fighting is not always about proving strength, but about proving an unbreakable will."
The Fire Arc Mercenaries is a wandering group of brave warriors, founded by Arman, an experienced warlord, with the aim of fighting tyranny and injustice that plagues the kingdoms. Most of its members come from poor backgrounds and the oppressed, trained to become ruthless fighters seeking justice in a world filled with corruption.
They are known for their diverse combat skills, with some relying on deadly weapons and varied fighting techniques. The group travels from one battle to another, seeking opportunities to free the oppressed and avenge the tyrants in their quest for justice.
Although the Fire Arc fights for good, their violent life is filled with internal conflicts, making each step they take fraught with challenges and surprises.
The camp was crowded with soldiers, each one training with all their might. Their eyes watched every move and every step, as though they were striving to prove their strength on the land they walked on. While Larious trained with Ilan in combat techniques, the aura surrounding them was full of challenge and excitement. Each of them sought to prove themselves, and in the midst of the battle, Ilan felt his confidence growing.
:
Larious then spoke about his unique sword: "My sword is a sword of fire, a powerful one, but hard to control. You need to master the flame for it to become a deadly weapon."
"Yes, fire is part of my soul. But fire is not easy to control, which is what makes it dangerous."
At that moment, a young soldier approached them. He appeared to be no older than Ilan, wearing an air of confidence. He carried a sharp sword in his hand and walked toward them with assured steps. He looked at Larious and spoke rudely: "You don't seem like you're from one of the noble kingdoms. We don't need children like you in our camp."
He then suddenly raised his hand to strike Larious, but before he could touch him, Larious easily dodged the blow and swiftly landed a punch that sent the soldier to the ground.
Everyone was astonished by how quickly Larious moved, especially Ilan, who had not expected this from someone his age. The camp fell silent for a moment, and then some of the soldiers began whispering.
:
Larious looked at the young soldier, who was still lying on the ground, and said coldly, "You shouldn't speak about things you don't understand. Don't dare challenge me again."
Ilan watched the scene in disbelief. "I can't believe it! A kid like you beats someone so much older!"
"Don't underestimate others," Larious replied as he returned his sword to its sheath. "Age isn't always the best indicator, but at least they have learned how to fight."
Ilan then looked at Larious and said, "You're amazing. But I want to learn from you."
Larious smiled and replied, "Everything in its time. When you're ready, I'll teach you."
That evening, as the sun set on the horizon, Ilan and Larious went to a nearby forest near the camp. The place was quiet, but the natural sounds surrounding them heightened the tension in the air.
"Do you have a weapon?" Ilan asked.
"Yes, my sword is my weapon, and it's a power in itself." Larious answered.
Ilan said in surprise, "But I heard you got your sword from a crystal!"
"Yes, that's true. I killed an ancient dragon, and my sword contains the crystal it held."
Suddenly, Ilan grabbed his sword and said, "Then show me your power, so I can learn from you."
At that moment, the training began. Ilan started attacking Larious with great speed, but he was surprised by Larious's ability to block and dodge. Ilan suddenly shocked Larious by using his sword to release a massive water blast, knocking Larious to the ground. "You're strong, but I'm not weak either," Ilan said with a wide smile.
"Yes, I know," Larious replied as he stood up. "The training doesn't stop here. Let's continue."
:
Meanwhile, the leader of the mercenaries, the head of the "Arc of Fire, " Arman sat in his tent, examining the latest reports that had reached him. It was clear that something unusual was happening. The soldiers had returned from their last mission, looking unusually tired and defeated. One of Hams's soldiers whispered as he stood before the leader, "It seems like something unnatural happened. They were attacked at night by something unknown."
The leader of the mercenaries raised an eyebrow in surprise and said, "Something unknown? What was that thing?"
The soldier replied hesitantly, "We don't know for sure, but they say it appeared suddenly in the night and was extremely strong. They couldn't fight it off, and they could feel its presence even in the darkness."
The leader murmured to himself as he pondered the situation: "What is that thing?"
I wonder what the upcoming events will be and what will be the transition of a warrior among the mercenaries
