"Spiritual Essence is yours now—let's be friends!"

Su Yi blurted out nonsense and quickly ran away, leaving the area to the little creature.

He had realized the little creature was highly alert and wouldn’t let anyone get close. But now, tempted by the Spiritual Essence, it presented Su Yi with a rare opportunity.

His plan was to lure it into the cave and seize the chance to capture it. If successful, it could be a huge gain—perhaps even a Dharma Tool or a Sacred Tool! A mere bottle of Spiritual Essence would mean nothing by comparison.

With this thought in mind, Su Yi retreated swiftly, leaping hundreds of yards away under the watchful gaze of the little beast, until both were hidden from each other behind the mountains.

"It’ll definitely take the bait!"

Su Yi crouched in a hidden spot, suppressing his energy to its lowest level. He crept back toward the path he had taken earlier, silently stalking the little beast.

After a while, he crouched behind a massive rock, peering out to observe the creature.

The little beast, still lingering where Su Yi had left it, stayed motionless for a long time. Its clever tiger-like eyes darted around cautiously, occasionally glancing toward the cave. It licked its lips and swallowed, clearly tempted by the alluring scent of the Spiritual Essence.

After much hesitation, the little beast finally gave in to its desire. After confirming no one was around, it cautiously began making its way toward the cave, taking three steps and looking back each time.

Unbeknownst to it, all these actions were being closely observed by Su Yi.

"Halfway there!"

Su Yi felt a surge of excitement. His plan was working perfectly, and the prospect of capturing the Item Spirit thrilled him.

"Go on, into the cave! Hurry!"

Su Yi anxiously watched as the little beast moved at a painstakingly slow pace. In his mind, he silently urged it forward.

The little beast took one step, then another, pausing frequently to look around. Eventually, it reached the cave entrance and entered cautiously.

Su Yi had strategically placed the bottle of Spiritual Essence deeper inside the cave to lure the creature further in, giving him the perfect moment to strike.

As the little beast approached the bottle, Su Yi’s eyes gleamed with anticipation. Slowly, he began to sneak closer, his movements as silent as a shadow.

He had everything planned out—when the little creature started drinking from the bottle, it would be his moment to act!

The little beast tilted the bottle and began drinking the Spiritual Essence. Just as Su Yi prepared to pounce, a voice suddenly echoed from the sky behind him.

"You villain! Let’s see where you can escape to!"

The unexpected shout startled Su Yi, causing him to inwardly curse. It was her again—that crazy woman!

Su Yi didn’t have time to worry about Shi Susu’s presence. He lunged toward the cave, determined to capture the little creature before it escaped.

But it was too late. The moment Shi Susu’s voice rang out, the startled little beast abandoned the bottle and bolted.

By the time Su Yi reached the cave entrance, the creature had already darted past him. Using its claws and wings, it vanished into the nearby bushes with astonishing speed.

As Su Yi prepared to give chase, a sharp warning sound came from behind. A streak of sword light pierced the air, heading straight for him.

"Gulp…"

Su Yi instinctively dropped to the ground, rolling to avoid the attack like a tumbling gourd.

But the delay proved costly. When he checked the bushes, there was no sign of the little beast.

"I’ll teach you a lesson!"

Su Yi cursed loudly, feeling as if a hundred thousand alpacas were rampaging through his mind.

Just when he had been on the verge of success, the creature escaped again! Frustration overwhelmed him, and he felt as though tears might spill from his eyes.

"You crazy woman! You still owe me for last time, and now you’re at it again! Do you really think I won’t fight back? Believe me, I’ll pin you down in a cave and teach you a lesson you won’t forget!"

Su Yi’s face darkened with fury as he roared at the figure in the sky.

"You wicked thief, I’ll kill you for that!"

Shi Susu’s chest heaved with rage, making for quite the sight. Her cheeks flushed as memories of their previous encounter resurfaced, filling her with shame and anger. Her hatred for Su Yi grew even stronger.

With a loud cry, Shi Susu drew her sword and charged at Su Yi.

She had noticed the little creature and was intrigued by it. But Su Yi’s brazen words had stoked her fury to the point where she no longer cared about the Item Spirit—she just wanted to cut him into pieces.

"Swoosh!"

A streak of sword energy slashed through the air like a rainbow, heading straight for Su Yi.

"Today, I’ll make sure you remember this lesson! Do you even know why the flowers are so red?"

Faced with the scene before him, Su Yi was furious.

The Item Spirit Beast’s escape instantly ignited his anger.

As Shi Susu raised her sword to attack again, Su Yi didn’t hesitate. He stepped forward to meet her strike.

Before anyone could react, a large knife appeared in his hand, and he swung it forward with force.

“Raging Dragon Slash!”

With a loud whoosh, the blade soared into the sky, a thunderbolt tearing through the empty space and colliding fiercely with the sword energy.

Boom!

The clash of the two energies created a deafening explosion, shaking the void. The mountains and forests trembled, sending rocks tumbling down.

A terrifying storm of energy erupted, shredding countless trees into splinters and hurling them into the air. Rocks were thrown like projectiles, crashing chaotically through the sky.

Both figures were flung backward, retreating several yards before regaining their footing.

Shi Susu twisted her slender waist, steadied herself, and charged toward Su Yi again without hesitation.

“Today, I’ll spank you into eighteen petals and show you what it means to have blossoming peaches all over the ground!” she shouted.

Su Yi roared back angrily, raising his blade to meet her challenge.

A ferocious battle ensued, the clash between the two Yuan Void Realm cultivators unleashing waves of sword and knife light that swept through the area.

The nearby trees and rocks were obliterated, reduced to dust by the overwhelming energy. Smoke and debris filled the air, obscuring the figures locked in combat.

Shi Susu’s strength was undeniable. Despite Su Yi’s relentless attacks, she held her ground, deflecting each fierce arc of knife light.

However, it wasn’t long before the tide turned. Shi Susu, once the aggressor, found herself on the defensive.

And Su Yi wasn’t done yet. He was just getting started.

“Wrath of the Eight Wastelands, Rampage Shadow Shatter the Nine Yaos!”

With a loud shout, Su Yi kicked off the ground, his movements a blur of speed and power. A dazzling light burst forth as his sword slashed toward Shi Susu.

His footprints crackled like lightning, each step gathering energy that exploded like miniature suns.

Roar!

The terrifying aura spread, unmatched in its dominance and destructive power.

A flicker of surprise crossed Shi Susu’s beautiful eyes.

Her sword surged with energy as she countered Su Yi’s attack with all her strength, her aggression fiercer than ever.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The collision between Su Yi’s footprints and her sword energy filled the air with deafening explosions. Gusts of wind blades swept out, the ground cracking beneath the pressure. The sky seemed to tremble as if on the verge of collapse.

Puh!

To Shi Susu’s shock, the sword energy she unleashed was trampled by countless shimmering footprints, extinguished as easily as a candle underfoot.

The next moment, one of the footprints struck her chest with brutal force, sending her flying backward. A mouthful of blood sprayed from her lips.

Boom!

She crashed onto the rocky ground, the impact shaking the earth.

“You crazy woman!” Su Yi shouted, striding forward to stand over her fallen form.

“You fiend!” Shi Susu spat, gritting her teeth as she swung her sword with all the strength she had left.

But Su Yi slapped her hand away with ease, sending the sword flying. It embedded itself in a distant rock, the hilt vibrating from the force.

“You keep calling me a pervert—why? Why am I a pervert?” he demanded, grabbing her collar and shouting in frustration.

He was genuinely enraged. This crazy woman had been hurling accusations at him from the moment they met.

Yes, it was true that, out of retaliation, he’d once stripped her naked, left her in a cave, and played a few tricks to make her think she’d lost her virginity. But enough time had passed that any sensible person would’ve realized nothing had happened. He was still a virgin, for heaven’s sake!

So why did she keep calling him a pervert?

Worse, today he had finally tracked down the Item Spirit Beast. After painstaking effort, he had lured it into a cave with a bottle of Spiritual Essence and was moments away from capturing it—when this woman suddenly appeared, scaring the beast away.

He was livid. From the beginning, she’d been the one scheming against him, yet she had the audacity to repay his efforts with malice.

And now, she was attacking him again, screaming insults as if he had truly wronged her.
