Chapter 359: Chapter 357: Why Don’t I Marry You?

Sui looked up at Erina, whose cheeks were slightly flushed. She seemed like she wanted to say something but hesitated. It was clear that she cared deeply about what was on her mind, leaving Sui at a bit of a loss.

It was obvious that Rindō had been teasing her, but the ever-tsundere Erina had taken it seriously. She was silly, but adorable in her innocence.

At the same time, Sui felt a bit touched. If he didn't hold an important place in her heart, she wouldn't have been so affected by a passing remark.

"No, I already told you—Rindō-senpai was just messing with you," Sui explained, helplessly.

"Really? But you kept looking at the door, completely distracted. You weren't waiting for a girl?" Erina asked softly, her face blushing even more.

"Of course not. You're overthinking things," Sui sighed. He couldn't exactly tell her he had been waiting for her father, could he?

"So... I was really just overthinking it?" Erina let out a sigh of relief, a sweet smile brightening her face.

Watching her reaction, Sui couldn't help but feel exasperated. She was so gullible, ready to believe anything others told her. Clearly, she lacked experience dealing with the world.

But fortunately for her, I was the one to fool her first, Sui thought with some satisfaction.

"Hey, Erina," he said suddenly.

"Hm?" Erina looked at him with that cute, curious expression she always wore.

"My shoulders feel a little sore, and my legs are aching," Sui said, frowning.

"Really? The past few days have been exhausting, haven't they? I told you that you didn't need to provide lunch every day," Erina said, immediately becoming concerned. Without bothering to put on her shoes, she rushed over to him barefoot. "Do you need to see a doctor?"

"No need, just give me a little massage," Sui smiled.

"Alright," Erina nodded quickly and started massaging his shoulders. "How's this? Is it strong enough?"

"Yeah, but my legs are still a bit sore," Sui added, sitting comfortably on the sofa as Erina worked on his shoulders.

Without missing a beat, Erina knelt down by his legs and began massaging them as well. "How about this?"

"Not bad," Sui replied, smiling as he watched her, looking every bit like a caring wife.

When Sui finally returned to his apartment later that day, he found Tohru and Kanna already back. The two dragons were sitting on the sofa, munching on snacks they'd bought at the school festival while watching TV with great enthusiasm.

As soon as Tohru saw Sui, she jumped up and threw herself into his arms with joy.

Sui could only sigh at the sight of the two. Over the past few days, they had blown through his 10 million yen worth of food coupons. The thought still hurt a little, but when he looked at Tohrus round, adorable face, he decided to let it go. As long as they were happy, that was what mattered.

The next day, now that the Moon Festival had ended, everyone returned to their usual school routines.

"Sōma, I heard that your sales surpassed Kuga-senpai's restaurant in the last few days?" Sui asked.

"Haha, seems like it," Sōma laughed, scratching his head.

"That's amazing! You actually beat Kuga-senpai, who's ranked eighth!" Megumi exclaimed in disbelief.

"Haha, well, I couldn't have done it without the new dishes we launched and all the help I got. The two girls pitched in too and really helped drive sales," Sōma said, laughing heartily.

"Wait, two girls?" Megumi asked, surprised.

"Oh, Megumi, you were in a different area, so you probably didn't hear about them. These two girls were a huge hit at the school festival!" Yoshino chimed in, joining the conversation. "One of them might look cute, but she's an incredible eater. She visited 120 different restaurants over the five days!"

"Amazing!" Megumi exclaimed.

Sui's mouth twitched slightly. There was no need to guess—those two girls had to be Tohru and Kanna.

"The senpais at the festival loved them. Some even built statues of them in their research societies, treating them like gods of fortune," Ryoko added, brushing her hair behind her ear. "Whenever they showed up at their place, they knew they wouldn't have any losses for the day."

With a sudden 'snap', Sui crushed the bowl he had been holding.

"Sui-kun, what's wrong?" Megumi asked, startled.

"Nothing, just feeling a bit emotional," Sui smiled, shrugging it off.

However, Sui's mood improved dramatically in the afternoon when he received his earnings from the school festival. After deducting the venue fee, management costs, and other expenses, he had made a staggering 80 million yen!

The huge profit was due to their two-day event where they received 200 guests each day, with admission fees raised to 200,000 yen per person. Even though the cost of the fantasy ingredients hadn't been deducted yet, the profit was still substantial.

"So... so many zeroes!" Sōma's eyes nearly popped out when he saw the amount in Sui's bank account.

It was the most money he had ever seen in his life.

"Wow, Sui, you're really good at making money! How about I marry you?" Yoshino joked, her eyes practically glowing with greed.

Sui gave her a speechless look.

Ryoko and Megumi were equally surprised by the amount.

Feeling generous, Sui transferred one million yen each to Megumi, Miyoko, and Nao.

"Huh? Sui-kun, what are you doing?" Megumi stammered, feeling a bit overwhelmed.

"This is your reward for helping out these past few days. Thank you," Sui said with a smile.

"But it's too much!" Megumi blushed, feeling embarrassed, especially since she didn't think she had contributed that much.

Yet, with Sui insisting, she eventually accepted it.

Yoshino, standing nearby, couldn't hide her envy, and even Ryoko looked a little jealous.

"Sui, why don't I marry you too?" Ryoko teased with a rare playful smile.

Sui couldn't help but laugh. "Are you serious?"

"Of course I am," Ryoko grinned.

"Then why don't you kiss me first?" Sui joked, knowing she wasn't serious.

Ryoko, always the gentle big sister, blushed and playfully swatted him. "Alright, enough teasing. I won't play along anymore."

Seeing Ryoko flustered was a rare sight, and Sui couldn't help but chuckle.

As soon as he returned to his mansion, Sui heard the system's voice chime in.

"The host has completed the school festival mission and has received an A-grade ingredient package."
