"Really? Thank you so much."
Sui couldn't help but feel happy. He had originally wanted Miyoko to help out at his festival stall.
"No problem, I wasn't planning on opening a stall during the school festival anyway," Miyoko blushed and whispered.
"Oh, and by the way, my father wants you to try one of his new dishes. I hope you can find some time to stop by." She remembered something and mentioned it, looking a bit embarrassed.
In truth, it was her father who had been urging her to take advantage of the opportunity to invite Sui over.
"Oh, sure," Sui nodded.
Seeing the normally commanding Miyoko—who had been as fierce as a general on the basketball court—turn into a shy, soft-spoken girl made all the boys watching from the sidelines gape in disbelief.
"No way! Is this really Miyoko?"
"Is this still the same 'court general' we just saw?"
The whispers from the boys on the court only made Miyoko blush deeper, her gaze fixated on her shoes as she grew more and more embarrassed.
"By the way, Sōma-kun, have you found any staff for your school festival booth yet?" Megumi asked, remembering something.
"Huh? Staff? Is that really necessary? Isn't it just a simple stall?" Sōma asked, completely confused.
"What?"
Both Miyoko and Megumi stared at him in disbelief.
"That's not how it works," Miyoko explained patiently. "The Moon Banquet Festival attracts half a million visitors every year. It's not just a school event—it's a grand occasion where people from outside come to taste the food created by Totsuki students, especially the Ten Elites."
"Plus, it's more than just small food stands," Megumi chimed in. "There are three designated areas for setting up stalls during the Moon Banquet Festival: the Avenue Area, Central Area, and the Mountain Area. The Avenue Area is mostly for popular dishes and smaller stalls, while the Central Area is more professional. But the Mountain Area, although less crowded, is where the high-end restaurants are, and it has the highest per capita spending. Many of the ten elites choose to open their shops there."
"I see," Soma scratched his head, realizing the scale of the event. "Then, I'll be on my own, won't I?"
Everyone looked at him sympathetically.
Later, Sui approached Nao Sadatsuka, and she quickly agreed to help with the booth. As for the elusive Subaru, Sui couldn't track him down, but for now, four people would suffice. If necessary, he could always call Subaru later.
During dinner, Erina brought up the upcoming festival.
"Sui, are you going to open a booth during the Moon Banquet Festival?" she asked while casually eating.
"Yeah," Sui nodded.
"So, which area are you planning to open in? What's your culinary theme? Will it be reservation-based, or regular sales? And have you found all your staff?" Erina rattled off a series of questions in one breath.
"The theme will focus on rare ingredients," Sui thought for a moment. "I'll take reservations, and I'd prefer to be located in the Mountain Area. Can you help me apply for a spot there?"
The Mountain Area had limited spaces, most of which were occupied by the elite ten, making it difficult for others to get a place..
"Sure, no problem," Erina nodded. Given Sui's abilities, he could definitely handle a spot in the Mountain Area.
"Oh, by the way," Erina added, "I'm planning to open a reservation-based restaurant too, and I'd like to use some beef. I'll pay you for it later."
Normally, Erina wouldn't worry about such details, but since she needed a large quantity for her shop, she wanted to make sure Sui was okay with it.
Sui shook his head, amused. "Do we really need to worry about that? Just go ahead and use it."
There was still a large supply of frozen bison meat, more than enough for the upcoming feast.
Hearing Sui's response, Erina blushed slightly, feeling a warmth in her heart. "Thank you," she murmured softly.
She then poured him a drink, and Sui absentmindedly took a sip.
However, he immediately noticed something odd about the taste. "Wait, is this rice sake made from that jet-black rice?" he asked. The flavor reminded him of what he had tasted at Alice's place—sweet with a strong aroma and a unique fragrance.
Erina blushed even more and nodded. "Yes, this is the rice sake I brewed."
Sui narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "Just regular rice sake?"
Erina's face turned beet red, and she stammered, "Well, it's not just rice wine... it's my 'Kuchikamizake'."
Sui was speechless for a moment. "'Kuchikamizake'? Why would you secretly make this for me?" he asked, bewildered.
"Because... because you drank Rindō-senpai's, so..." Erina trailed off, lowering her head and staring at her toes, looking like a child caught in the act.
Sui sighed. So it wasn't just Alice who was secretly concerned after that incident. "You and your cousins really are alike," he muttered under his breath, recalling how both of them had taken things to heart.
"Huh? What did you say?" Erina asked, a bit surprised.
"Ahem, nothing," Sui quickly brushed it off, coughing lightly.
"Anyway, since you drank Rindō-senpai's wine, it's only fair that you drink mine too," Erina said softly, still blushing as she glanced at the cup on the table.
Sui was once again speechless, but he had to admit—Erina's 'Kuchikamizake' tasted really good. Sweet, with that distinct scent...

In the following days, with Erina's help, Sui successfully secured a spot in the Mountain Area for his booth—right next to Erina's.
During that time, several acquaintances, including the Sendawara sisters and Osaji Kita, called to ask if Sui was opening a shop at the festival. Upon hearing that he was, they were all eager to visit and support him.
Finally, the first day of the Moon Banquet Festival arrived.
But to Sui's surprise, he received a text message from Rindō.
"Hey, kohai, let's go shopping together."
