The Devil’s Destiny

Joseph stood up, stretching his arms over his head. He yawned, feeling the fatigue of the day catch up with him.

As he began to make his way to his bedroom, his phone suddenly rang.

He looked at the screen and saw that it was a video call from his two best friends, Treasure and Alex.

Joseph smiled, feeling a surge of energy. He answered the call, and the faces of his two friends appeared on the screen.

"Bro, come out and let's chill!" Treasure exclaimed. "You've been cooped up all day, working and stuff."

"I'm tired, guys," Joseph replied, yawning again. "I was just about to go to bed."

But Treasure and Alex were insistent. "Dude, it's only 8 PM!" Alex said. "You can't go to bed yet. Besides, we heard you've been cooking up a storm in there."

Joseph chuckled. "How did you guys know that?"

"We have our ways," Treasure said with a grin. "So, what's on the menu?"

Joseph thought for a moment. His favorite food was grilled chicken with roasted vegetables, and his favorite drink was pineapple juice.

"I've got grilled chicken and veggies," Joseph said, "and a nice cold glass of pineapple juice."

Treasure and Alex cheered. "Yes! Now we're talking!" Treasure exclaimed.

Joseph laughed. "Okay, okay. I'll come out and meet you guys."

He ended the call and quickly got dressed. He grabbed his keys and headed out the door, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation.

As he drove to the meeting spot, Joseph couldn't help but think about how much he valued his friendship with Treasure and Alex.

They had been through thick and thin together, and he knew he could always count on them.

When he arrived at the meeting spot, Joseph saw Treasure and Alex waiting for him. They were sitting at a table, surrounded by food and drinks.

"Bro, we ordered some extra food," Treasure said, grinning. "We knew you'd be hungry."

Joseph laughed and sat down. "Thanks, guys. You know me too well."

The three friends spent the rest of the evening eating, laughing, and catching up.

Joseph felt grateful for the friendship and camaraderie they shared.

As the night wore on, Joseph realized that sometimes, taking a break and spending time with friends was exactly what he needed.

It helped him clear his mind and come back to his goals with renewed energy and focus.

The evening with Treasure and Alex was just what Joseph needed to recharge and refocus.

He knew that he would always be able to count on his friends, no matter what.
