The Days of Being the Richest Man in the Ninja World

Chapter 60: Chapter 60. Quite Handsome

Chapter 60. Quite Handsome

---

[Hanzo, my friend, I'm busy!]

Of course, the letter wasn't written like that. It was much longer, but that was the gist of it.

Hanzo of the Salamander sighed, crumpling the letter into a ball. Glancing at the "six hundred million" figure on his desk, he muttered, "I didn't mean it that way!"

It all started a few days ago...

There had been some movements among those young troublemakers again. Their forces seemed to have grown significantly during the war. Hanzo had simply thought it might be better to discuss and collaborate to resolve the matter.

Really!

He, Hanzo of the Salamander swore by his salamander!

Just 600 million.

Sure, it was an unexpected... fortune, but it wasn't enough to make him betray... an ally?

Yet, he was suspected anyway.

Hanzo fell silent for a moment before turning to one of his Ame ninja. "Have you figured out what's been going on there these past two days?"

Why does it seem so lively?

The Ame ninja replied respectfully, "Leader, it appears that person showed up before is here again."

Hanzo's brows furrowed deeply. "That... mysterious person?"

...

The weather in the Land of Rain wasn't too stifling.

Perhaps it was because of the constant rain; it was quite cool.

Morning.

After waking up a bit late, Yuto stretched, yawned, and went downstairs after freshening up.

It had been over half a month since he arrived in the Land of Rain.

The previous night had gone on a bit late. Not only did he need to conduct a physical check-up, but he also had to deliver the chakra Nine-Tails lost to him during a previous gambling session to Kana for research.

When it came to tailed beasts, the Uzumaki Clan had extensive knowledge. Many of their sealing techniques were directly related to them. Moreover, since the Sharingan originated from the God Tree, it might yield some unexpected insights.

And if it didn't?

[Don't worry, brother. I'll take good care of my sister-in-law and nephew!]

Yuto chuckled at the thought. He was, of course, joking. Even without the Sharingan, he was confident he could thrive with his chakra reserves alone.

You know, after all, Fugaku was his brother!

Now, his chakra was brimming. He felt like he could use the Great Fireball Jutsu at a scale comparable to Madara's legendary fire techniques.

In the ninja world, having abundant chakra allowed for near-limitless freedom. That is... until the aliens arrived. Then it would all come down to taijutsu.

To prepare for the future, Yuto had been diligently practicing elbow strikes. When the aliens showed up, they'd see whose elbow strikes were superior!

"Good morning, Yahiko," Yuto greeted cheerfully as he noticed Yahiko and Konan already busy. He looked around and asked curiously, "Where's Nagato?"

Kana, meanwhile, was in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

"Nagato's already out working," Yahiko replied with a slight smile.

"So early? Not even staying for breakfast?" Yuto was surprised. Has he been drinking that '4 AM motivation juice' or something?

Yahiko sighed. "We recently discovered some outside ninja infiltrating. They're highly skilled and have been very discreet. We haven't caught them yet, so Nagato's been working hard to track them down."

"I see." Yuto nodded in understanding. With the Uzumaki bloodline, Nagato had exceptional sensory abilities, making him perfect for the job.

At that moment, Kana, wearing a light pink apron, came out with breakfast—bowls of noodle soup with a broth made from freshly prepared salamander.

"Enjoy your meal."

"Thanks! I won't hold back," the group said in unison.

As they ate, Yuto asked about recent developments in the Land of Rain. Things were going well overall, though the war had brought in many refugees and disillusioned ninja, whom Yahiko welcomed.

They also discussed a profitable venture led by Kyusuke: selling mesh underpants. Surprisingly, the product had become wildly popular, even among ninja from Iwagakure, Kirigakure, and other villages.

Yahiko also expressed concern about Uchiha Obito and whether selling such items could lead to complications.

"Don't worry," Yuto reassured him. "Obito's just a younger clan member. I was expelled from the Uchiha clan years ago, so we're not familiar. Sell freely—no need to hold back."

"That's a relief," Yahiko said with a sheepish smile. "When I first got letter from Brother Yuto, I was shocked!"

Mesh underpants?

Who would buy such a thing?

As it turned out, plenty of people.

He didn't except to make a fortune.

After a while.

"I'm full!" Konan finished her meal, wiped her mouth, and smiled. "I'll go bring breakfast to Nagato!"

Just as she stood up, a loud boom echoed from outside.

The four of them froze, exchanged glances, and immediately rushed outside.

Had Nagato found the enemy?

This guy... isn't simple!

Sasori manipulated his puppet, frowning as he observed the red-haired boy standing before him.

He hadn't expected this person, who had discovered him, to be so powerful! Initially, Sasori had assumed this was just some sensory-type ninja. He thought he could deal with it quickly, using his Third Kazekage puppet.

But he had miscalculated.

Looking at Nagato with a grave expression, Sasori asked in a cold tone, "Who are you? Ame ninja?"

"No." Nagato studied him with interest, narrowing his eyes slightly and rubbing his chin. "A puppet, huh? You're from Sunagakure, aren't you?" Then, as if struck by a thought, he added, "How many puppets can you control?"

"..."

What's wrong with this guy?

What kind of ninja straightforwardly asks their enemy for information?

Who would answer that?

Sasori frowned and glanced around. He knew he couldn't linger. The commotion just now would definitely have been heard if there were other ninjas nearby.

He hadn't expected there to be someone this strong in the Land of Rain, aside from that old demigod of the ninja world, Hanzo of the Salamander.

Time to retreat!

As for this opponent, he'd deal with him later—once his "Red Secret Technique" was perfected.

However...

Before Sasori could act, several figures suddenly appeared around him. His expression darkened.

Am I surrounded?!

"Nagato!" Yahiko quickly approached, standing beside Nagato. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," Nagato replied, surprised to see the others but quickly regaining his composure. "What are you all doing here?"

"The noise was too loud. We heard it and came over," Yahiko explained.

"I see. Sorry about that," Nagato said with an embarrassed laugh. "Didn't realize I overdid it."

Hearing this, Yahiko sighed in relief. Seeing that Nagato was unharmed, he turned to the red-haired man in front of them. His gaze lingered on the puppet behind Sasori as he hesitated, then asked, "A ninja from Suna? A puppeteer?"

"Puppeteer!" Nagato confirmed with a nod.

"He is a puppeteer!" Konan agreed, nodding as well.

"Indeed, he is a puppeteer!" Kana, the senior among them, also nodded firmly.

It seemed everyone was intent on confirming Sasori's identity as a Sunagakure puppeteer.

Except for Yuto...

Yuto stroked his chin, studying Sasori with curiosity. He had a pretty good idea of who this guy was.

But then...

"He's quite handsome~"

"..."

Five faces turned silently toward Yuto.

Yuto-sama (Brother Yuto)... what's that supposed to mean?
