That Time I Got Reincarnated With Gacha System In Mahabharata

Chapter 21: Chapter No.21 Soft Yandere

[Aditya's POV]

"Son! Is she ill?" Indra paused, raising an eyebrow at Draupadi's outburst. The moment stretched in tense silence as Draupadi's anger simmered beneath the surface. Her hands clenched into fists, trembling slightly as she fought to contain her emotions.

Indra's eyes narrowed slightly, and he turned his attention back to me. "Aditya," he said, his tone softening but still carrying the weight of his divine authority, "you must understand that this is not just about your personal choices. The legacy of Vali, the destiny that ties you to Kishkindha, is greater than any single bond. It transcends individual desires."

Draupadi's expression hardened, and she stepped forward, her voice unwavering. "No matter what destiny or legacy you speak of, Aditya is my husband. He chose me, and I will not allow anyone, not even a god, to take him away from me!"

Her declaration was met with silence, the air crackling with tension as Indra regarded her with a mixture of curiosity and amusement. "You have a fierce spirit, Draupadi," he said, a hint of a smile playing at the corner of his lips. "Your devotion to Aditya is commendable, but you must understand that his path is no longer just his own. If he truly carries Vali's essence, then his fate is intertwined with the gods themselves."

Draupadi's grip on my arm tightened even more, and she looked up at me with eyes full of determination. "Aditya, no matter what happens, promise me you won't abandon me. If even think of abandoning me I promise you, I will make you regret it." Her voice was steady, but there was an edge to it that sent a chill down my spine. Draupadi's eyes gleamed with a possessive intensity that was almost frightening—this was no ordinary vow; it was a promise sealed with her absolute devotion.

"Do you hear me, Aditya?" she continued, her grip like a vice on my arm. "I won't let anyone take you away from me. Not the gods, not fate, not even this Vali nonsense. You are mine, and I am yours. Forever."

I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of her words settle over me. The air around us seemed to grow even thicker with tension, and I knew this was no longer just about escaping Indra's divine scrutiny—it was about navigating the dangerous waters of Draupadi's unwavering love.

But frankly speaking, I like it. I can be sure that Draupadi will never betray me first, I just have to overwhelm her yandere side with my love and pampering which can keep her both satisfied and docile.

I suppressed my urge to kiss her right here right now, and turned to face Indra. "I will leave for Kishkindha after two months from now, as I still have duties to perform to my own kingdom. And I want to spend some time with my Wifey here."

Indra's expression shifted slightly, a mix of curiosity and amusement crossing his face at my choice of words. "Wifey, you say? Mortals and their peculiar terms," he said, shaking his head with a hint of a smile. "Very well, Aditya. I shall grant you these two months. But heed my words: Kishkindha's situation grows dire by the day. Once your duties in Sindhu are fulfilled, you must not delay. I can't do anything myself because of the rule of no-interfernce in mortal affairs but this is... special, the legacy of my fallen son."

"I...understand, I will do my best to honor this legacy and fulfill the responsibilities you have entrusted to me," I said, trying to project confidence despite the turmoil inside. I couldn't afford to let Indra see any more weakness; I needed to maintain my composure and protect Draupadi from further distress.

Indra gave a final nod, his expression softening just slightly, though the air around him still crackled with divine energy. "Good. I shall hold you to your word, Aditya. As for the mess here, I will take care of it. And I can see your carriage's destroyed, So I will let my mount take you to your destination. You have earned that much for your honesty and courage," he said, giving a subtle gesture to the sky.

At his signal, a massive winged creature, gleaming with the radiance of lightning and the brilliance of the heavens, descended from the clouds. It was Airavata, the legendary white elephant, Indra's majestic mount. The creature's presence was both awe-inspiring and intimidating, its enormous frame nearly blotting out the sky above us.

Draupadi's eyes widened as she beheld the divine beast, and I could feel her grip on my arm loosen slightly in amazement. Even amidst her yandere fury, the sight of Airavata seemed to have temporarily calmed her.

"You may use Airavata to reach your kingdom safely," Indra continued. "Consider this a token of my good faith, and a reminder of the task that lies ahead of you. And remember, Aditya, the moment your two months are up, I expect you to set off for Kishkindha without delay."

I gave a respectful nod. "Thank you, Lord Indra. I will not forget this kindness."

Indra's stormy gaze lingered on me for a moment longer before he turned to Airavata. "Take them to the Sindhu Kingdom," he commanded. The beast trumpeted in response, its massive trunk swinging gracefully as it lowered itself to allow us to climb onto its back.

As Draupadi and I mounted Airavata, she turned to me with a lingering trace of her possessive intensity. Her eyes, though still burning with determination, held a hint of vulnerability. "Remember your promise, Aditya," she said softly, her voice barely a whisper. "No matter what happens in Kishkindha, you are mine."

Now that we are alone, I pulled her into a warm embrace, cradling her against my chest. The softness of her form and the steady rhythm of her heartbeats eased the tension within me. I could feel her warmth radiate, melting away the lingering chill of Indra's divine presence.

"And you are mine," A beastly growl left my throat, possessiveness and longing mingling in that one primal sound. I pulled back slightly, looking into Draupadi's eyes, which sparkled with a mix of defiance and adoration.

"You have no idea how much I want to kiss you right now," I said, my voice low and filled with a desperate need.

Draupadi's breath hitched slightly, a blush creeping up her cheeks as she looked up at me with wide eyes. "Then why don't you?" she challenged, her confidence sparkling in the golden light of the setting sun.

Her playful demeanor melted away my restraint, and I leaned in, capturing her lips with mine in a kiss that held all the unspoken words between us. It was passionate and tender, a silent promise of my devotion that enveloped us in its warmth. The world around us faded into nothingness as I lost myself in her embrace.

When we finally pulled apart, our foreheads rested against each other, and I could see the fire of determination in her eyes mixed with the tenderness of love.

"No matter who I marry later, You will always be my queen." And before she could respond, I pressed another kiss to her lips, sealing my words with action.

Draupadi's eyes shimmered with unshed tears, but they were not born of sorrow. Instead, they reflected the fierce love she held for me. "You really mean that, don't you?" she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.

I nodded, brushing my thumb against her cheek. "Every word. You're the one I want beside me, Draupadi. No matter what challenges await us, we'll face them together. You are my strength, and I will cherish you always."

A radiant smile broke across her face, illuminating the shadows of doubt that had lingered. "And I will never let anything come between us," she vowed, her tone fierce yet tender. "Not the gods, not destiny. I'll fight for our love."

I grinned, feeling invigorated by her spirit. "And I will fight for you. Together, we're unstoppable."

With that, I nudged Airavata with my knees, signaling the divine elephant to take flight. As we soared through the skies, the wind whipped through our hair, and the world below faded into a blur of colors. Draupadi clung to me, her heart racing against my chest, her laughter mingling with the roar of the wind.

For a moment, I allowed myself to indulge in the thrill of the adventure ahead, forgetting the weight of responsibilities and the looming threats. I turned my gaze to Draupadi, her face aglow with exhilaration and love.

"I can't believe we're actually flying on a divine beast!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with joy. "This is incredible!"

I laughed, reveling in her happiness. "I'm glad you're enjoying this. Just wait until we reach Sindhu. I have surprises planned for you."

"Surprises?" she raised an eyebrow, intrigue sparkling in her eyes. "Now you've piqued my curiosity. What are you planning?"

I grinned mischievously, leaning closer to whisper in her ear. "Let's just say it involves a private celebration of our bond—a little getaway, just the two of us."

Draupadi's eyes lit up, and I could see her imagination running wild. "You're full of surprises, aren't you? I can't wait!"

As we glided through the clouds, the landscape below began to shift from the lush greenery of the mountains to the vibrant fields of Sindhu. My heart swelled with anticipation, not just for the challenges that lay ahead but for the moments we would share together.

Airavata landed gracefully on the outskirts of Sindhu, the soft thud of its massive feet resonating through the ground. As we dismounted, Draupadi's hand slipped into mine, and we walked together toward the palace gates.

The guards recognized me immediately, their faces shifting from neutrality to awe. "Your Highness!" they exclaimed, bowing deeply.

"At ease," I said, waving them off with a casual gesture. "I've returned safely from my journey." Draupadi stood beside me, her presence radiating confidence, and I could see the guards' eyes darting to her before they quickly averted their gaze. I couldn't blame them—Draupadi's beauty was captivating, and her fierce spirit was undeniable.

But it seems, I too am a bit yandere as I released my King's Aura as I focused on the guards, the air around me shifted, becoming charged with authority. "You will respect my wife as you would respect me," I commanded, my voice deepening with the weight of my position. The guards flinched slightly at the intensity radiating from me but quickly composed themselves, their expressions turning serious.

Draupadi looked up at me, a mix of surprise and admiration in her eyes. She squeezed my hand tightly, her grip both reassuring and possessive. I couldn't help but feel a rush of satisfaction at the thought of claiming her not just as my partner, but as someone worthy of the same respect I commanded.

"Of course, Your Highness," one of the guards replied, his tone respectful but laced with confusion. The other guards nodded in agreement, their gazes flickering back to Draupadi before they resumed their duties, clearly taken aback by the new dynamic I was establishing.

As we walked through the grand entrance of the palace, I felt Draupadi's excitement bubbling beside me. "Aditya," she whispered, leaning in closer, "you have no idea how much I love seeing this side of you. You're so… commanding." There was a spark in her eyes, one that ignited a warmth within me.

I smirked, brushing my thumb over her knuckles. "Well, it helps to have a fierce partner by my side. You inspire me, Draupadi."

Her cheeks flushed with a delicate pink, and she looked down shyly, her usual confidence momentarily replaced by bashfulness. "You really mean that?" she asked softly.

"Every word," I reaffirmed. "You've ignited a fire in me that I never knew existed. Together, we'll be a force to reckon with."

As we entered the opulent throne room, I spotted my foster father Mahamantri Siddharth waiting for us. His expression shifted from relief to curiosity as he took in the sight of Draupadi beside me, her presence commanding even in the grandeur of the palace.

"Aditya, you've returned," he said, his voice steady but a hint of tension lingered in the air. "And with a… guest?"

Draupadi straightened, meeting Siddharth's gaze with confidence. "I am Draupadi, Aditya's wife," she declared, her voice resonating with pride.

Siddharth raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised but masking it quickly with a warm smile. "You actually won the contest in Draupadi's Swayamvara huh?"

"Won?! I dominated the contest," I said with a mocking look in my eyes.

"Hahahahaha~ Come give this old man a hug."

I stepped forward, embracing Siddharth, who had been a guiding force in my life ever since my biological parent's were killed. In my memories of twenty years, He was like a father to me, and I felt a surge of gratitude for all the wisdom he had imparted over the years.

As we pulled away, I caught a glimpse of Draupadi's bemused expression. She was observing our interaction with curiosity, and I couldn't help but smile at the contrast between her fierce spirit and the warmth radiating from Siddharth.
