Supreme Spirit System

Jane looked at him in disdain and mocked him "You are living in a dreamland but you are partially right only my future will be bright because after school I will go abroad and pass out from a prestigious university while you will rot here and have to start job like your elder brother. Don't ever think of coming back to me again."

All the other students and boys started laughing at the scene which had unfolded in the cafeteria and started mocking Mayank for his stupidity especially the boys who had to suffer for so long seeing Mayank getting along with the campus belle of the school.

Mayank had been humiliated a lot as he had become the living joke of the school who dared to propose the campus belle for marriage despite being so poor and belonging to a totally different social class.

After the break up when he returned to the class he could not find his belongings as he saw a girl who was one of Jane's closest friend sitting beside her who said "From now on you will not talk to Jane and will not sit here. Also all your belongings had been shifted at the back bench of the class you may go there."

Mayank did not say anything as he knew that Jane had already taken her decision to part ways with him and no matter what he said he can not change her mind so he simply went at the back bench to sit alone now since nobody wanted to sit beside him because now that he was the reason the school belle had been infuriated so no one wanted to suffer since whoever will sit beside Mayank now will send the message that they were Mayank's friend and will have to face the wrath of Jane the campus belle who had a lot of power since any of the boys can beat them up with just one hint from her.

Now he remembered the words which Prashant had said to him that how true his brother was and how stupid he was to believe in his love blindly. Deep down he always knew that they were never going to be together however still he went for it and continued his relationship with her and now after completing two years of their relationship she had to breakup with him. He was so devastated since he had fallen in love with her and never wanted to part with her.

After sitting at his desk he saw her at the front bench and beside her where he used to sit somebody else had occupied that seat. He felt that he had gone miles away from the love of his life.

He started regretting his decision to propose Jane today. Perhaps to propose to her today was the biggest mistake of his life. Since before this at least he was with her now he could not even talk to her anymore. Even though he could understand that she was just keeping him around but still he wanted to go with her since he felt he had fallen in love with her.

Once the school was over he tried to approach Jane but was stopped and warned that if he try to approach her in the future he will not be spared so easily and had been sent away.

He felt his life was over and he could not live without jane so he did not know what to do. So he decided to take that one final step to end his life. 

After all his brother had warned him so many times and he did not listen as he said to himself "Sorry big brother I failed you. I know you have warned me so many times but I did not listen and now that I have broke up with Jane I cannot live without her."

So after coming out of school he did not want to return home so he went somewhere else. On the other end Prashant who was the big brother of Mayank was in so much pressure since he had just lost his prestigious job in one of the most promising start ups of the country and he cannot just sit idle as he had to find another job sooner than later. After all his main priority was to look after his family.

Usually he comes from office in the evening and stays for a brief period of time for his dinner and then goes back for his part time job at the bar and returns home at mid night to complete his few hours of sleep but today he was actually fired from the company so he had been back at home early in the afternoon.

At this point of time nobody was there at home since both of his parents used to work in the farm at the end of the city and his two siblings had gone to school and he himself used to be in the office and since he was free now he decided to pick up Mayank from school since Mayank had to come home walking from school because he had to attend some extra classes so did not avail the school bus as for his sister Ria she used to commute through school bus.

Prashant went to school but by the time he reached he was a bit late since the school was already over and many of the buses had already left to drop the students at home so he could not spot Mayank however he wondered where did he went since on the other days after school he used to walk home if he did not have any extra classes and he came from the same route to not miss him so he asked a few of the class mates with whom Mayank used to study as they were also returning and learned about the whole ordeal which happened today.

After learning about the situation Prashant had a worried look on his face as he knew that his brother must be very hurt so he started to look around the city.

On the other side Mayank had already decided to commit suicide so he went to the railway track and decided to end his life there.

An express train was coming with super-fast speed from afar and Mayank was walking towards the train when the train had reached near him and was almost about to hit him he closed his eyes out and said sorry to his family for one last time for being so selfish but at that moment someone came from behind and pushed him out of the way of the train as he narrowly escaped death and both of them fell down beside the railway track.

Mayank opened his eyes and was surprised to see Prashant as he muttered "Big Brother you are here!!!"

Mayank did not have any hopes of living now as he was about to die and at the end moment when the train was about to hit him he closed his eyes as he could not imagine how painful the impact would be when the train will hit his body to make his life end however the train never hit him instead someone pushed him from the back and he found himself out of the railway track lying on the ground and the express train went from his side with a speed of more than two hundred miles per hour and the subsequent air waves which got generated by the speed of the train hit him as he lay there on the ground shielding his head with both of his hands.

He felt as if he was getting pulled towards the railway tracks by those air waves however since he was lying flat on the ground he managed to avoid the pull and finally when the train passed away in a few moments and the air waves stopped he saw another person lying beside him breathing heavily as this was the person who saved his life today.

But now he felt conflicting emotions inside him as he was angry as to why he had been saved since nobody asked this person to save him after all as it was so hard to muster the courage to commit suicide but deep down in his heart he also felt a bit relived and thankful towards the person after all his life got saved but when he looked more closely he saw the person was Prashant his own Big brother.

Mayank gasped "Big brother!"

Prashant just looked at him pitifully.

Mayank said "How did you know I was here?"

To answer his question Prashant just got up from his place and gave two tight slaps one left and one right and shouted at Mayank "What were you thinking? What were you trying to do? How dare you do this? Your life does not belong to you to throw away like this. Have you thought about mom and dad how they would feel. You do not care about your sister and me at all and you wanted to leave us all just because some petty girl broke up with you?"
