Chapter 79: New World

The Hell Prince Pirates stood gathered on the deck of their ship, the towering coral structures of Fish-Man Island fading into the distance as they prepared to dive deeper into the currents that would carry them toward the New World. The calm seas around the island belied the storm that awaited them beyond.

Dave stood at the bow, arms crossed, the faint shimmer of the underwater light casting his figure in a ghostly glow. His golden hair moved gently with the subtle sway of the ocean current, his expression contemplative. The events of the past weeks had set the world ablaze with whispers of his name. Now, every move he made carried the weight of expectation—both from his enemies and those who now looked to him as a symbol of rebellion.

"You're unusually quiet," Shakky remarked, stepping beside him. Her voice was soft, yet carried the firmness of someone who wouldn't let the silence linger too long.

Dave smirked, his gaze still fixed on the horizon. "Just thinking."

"Dangerous habit," Shakky teased, though her tone carried a hint of worry. "The New World isn't like anything what you faced before. It's chaos. The strong prey on the weak, alliances shift like tides, and even the weather can kill you."

Dave turned to her, his blue eyes meeting hers. "Chaos has a way of exposing people's true nature. If the New World is a proving ground, then let it test us."

Shakky nodded, though the weight of his words didn't ease her concern. "Just remember, you're not the only one being tested. Your crew follows you because they believe in you."

"And I won't let them down," Dave replied, his voice steady, a quiet determination radiating from him.

The ship glided through the undersea passage that led beneath the Red Line, the walls of the massive underwater tunnel illuminated by glowing flora. It was a surreal experience, the vibrant beauty of the deep sea masking the tension that lingered in everyone's mind.

In the galley, Tony was hunched over a workbench, his hands moving deftly as he modified one of the ship's cannons. Enel leaned against the doorframe, watching with mild curiosity as Tony muttered calculations under his breath.

"You're working awfully hard for someone who acts like nothing can touch us," Enel remarked, his tone laced with amusement.

Tony didn't look up. "Confidence is great, but preparation keeps you alive. You should try it sometime."

Enel chuckled, the sound electric. "Why prepare when the thrill is in the unexpected?"

Tony paused, finally looking at him. "Because in the New World, the unexpected isn't just thrilling—it's deadly."

Enel shrugged, his grin unfazed. "Sounds like fun."

By the time the ship emerged from the tunnel, the tranquil waters of Fish-Man Island were long behind them. The currents shifted, their once-gentle flow now a turbulent, unpredictable force. Above them, the surface was a patchwork of storm clouds and jagged sunlight, the atmosphere electric with the promise of danger.

The crew gathered on deck, the salty wind biting at their faces. Shakky stood at the helm, her hands steady on the wheel as she guided the ship through the chaotic waters. Tony and Enel were on the lookout, their eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of trouble. Even Albert, usually a silent observer, stood ready with his weapon at his side.

Dave remained at the bow, his presence a steadying force amidst the chaos. He took a deep breath, letting the harsh wind fill his lungs. "This is it," he said, his voice carrying over the roar of the waves. "The New World."

Hours passed as the ship navigated the treacherous waters, the crew working in unison to keep it steady. Every so often, a monstrous sea creature would emerge from the depths, its shadowy form looming before disappearing just as quickly. The tension was palpable, but they pressed on, knowing that the journey was as much a test of their resolve as it was of their skill.

As night fell, the sea seemed to grow even more unpredictable. The ship rocked violently as a sudden wave crashed against its side, sending a spray of saltwater over the deck. Diana gritted her teeth, her grip on the wheel tightening. "This storm isn't letting up anytime soon!"

"We've handled worse," Dave called back, his voice calm but firm. He turned to the crew. "Stay focused. We're not stopping until we make landfall."

"Landfall where?" Enel asked, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "The New World doesn't exactly come with a map."

Dave smirked. "Then we'll carve our own path."

By dawn, the storm had finally begun to subside, though the sea remained restless. The horizon was a blur of gray and blue, the line between sky and water almost indiscernible. But as the first rays of sunlight broke through the clouds, the silhouette of an island came into view.

Shakky exhaled in relief, her shoulders relaxing as the island grew closer. "Finally," she muttered. "Solid ground."

Tony squinted at the shape, his brow furrowing. "Let's not celebrate just yet. We don't know what—or who—is waiting for us there."

Dave stepped forward, his gaze fixed on the island. "Whatever it is, we'll face it. Together."

The crew exchanged glances, their resolve solidified by his words. They didn't know what the New World had in store for them, but they were ready to face it head-on. With Dave leading the way, they knew one thing for certain: they weren't just surviving—they were conquering.

"So, what are our first stop going to be?" Rayleigh asked they all looked around on the Island.

"Dunno, you should know it" Dave said as he looked back at him.

"It's been a long time, not to mention New World don't stay static" Rayleigh replied as Tony said" well, I have sent drones, we would know where are we exactly soon"

Dave nodded, although they have the permanent pointer to White Beard pirates, but they decided to make a stop, before directly rushing there.
