While they were talking a flash of light signaled the arrival of the new modules and Lenarina's station.

Andrew took a moment to admire her station and had to admit that it was arranged quite well and the modules were dispersed just like his.

Evidently, she was also preparing for the eventuality that her installation might be targeted.

At first, he was planning to disassemble it and incorporate the modules into his station but now his plans had changed and he would just connect it to his station as it was.

The reason for this decision was simple.

With the first big module he had just acquired he needed to rebuild his station anyway and hers could just be connected to it saving him a lot of time.

The big module was the command center as it was getting tedious to control all of the modules from a single console and with his plans to expand the station he would need it sooner or later.

He had to disconnect her solar power modules to arrange it in a way that would allow the main module to be connected to the command module.

-What are you doing to my station?

She asked sharply, seeing his actions.

-It's my station now and I'm rearranging it to connect it to the command center module.

He answered without even looking at her as he was focused on the task at hand.

The plan was to connect both stations to the command module on its two sides, leaving plenty of space to connect other modules as they came.

The task took him three hours but finally, it was just one station and while he was at it he also connected the other modules he had bought this time.

While he was busy, Lanarine was still sitting on the floor where he had left her and her but was hurting already.

She was sulking as it was evident to her that he would not agree to cooperate as one of her kind would, and he again reminded her that she was now his slave and should know her place.

-Excuse me, can you allow me to move now?

She finally asked, no longer able to tolerate the pain and the stiffness of her muscles.

-Ups, sorry about that, you can move freely now.

Andrew said a bit embarrassed that he forgot about the order he had given forcing her to sit on the hard floor for hours.

The moment he said that she could feel the control of her body return to her.

What surprised her was that he had apologized, and genuinely looked apologetic that he forgot to remove the previous order.

-He might not be as barbaric as I thought.

She thought while stretching her body to remove stiffness from her muscles.

Now that all the modules were connected into one station he had to connect them all to the command center.

-Lanarine go to your station and connect everything to the command center consoles.

He ordered her, while at the same time, he got up and started to do the same with his station's modules.

It wasn't hard to do but had to go through every module and reroute the command circuit to the corresponding consoles in the command module.

She didn't have a choice but to follow his order and left immediately, not wanting the chip control to kick in again.

The moment she entered her station she felt a lot better until she saw the consoles displaying everything in human writings, which she could read thanks to the knowledge the chip downloaded into her brain.

They went through each module, and there were quite a bit of them now since he added many new ones to each of the stations.

There were now eight more storage modules that he just bought and four additional ones from her station.

Since her station had two resource processing modules he didn't buy new ones and with the addition of her two drone recharging stations, he also refrained from adding more for now.

Her station also had a sanitation module, two life support modules, a water purification module, a sensor module upgraded with a geological sensor, two water storage modules, two shield generator modules, 8 solar power generating modules, and a living quarters module.

It was a nice station and the only problem he saw with it was that there seemed to be no drones in the recharge stations.

There were also more additions that Andrew just bought.

Five solar power generating modules,3 shield generator modules, a fitness module which was a mini gym for him to work out in, and a personal storage module, which he needed to store all his things since they no longer fit in the two chests and the closet he got earlier.

3 more water storage modules, as he would need a lot of water soon.

The last m modules he bought were the 2-point defense cannons modules, which were the first armaments he installed on his station and now that he had the command center he would not have to buy the combat control module as the command center had a console for that.

That were a lot of modules for them to go through to connect them all, but a few hours later they were done and now they could control everything from the command center.

Andrew saw that all the components and materials he bought for the drone manufacturing were already stored in the manufacturing module so he ordered 10 mining drones to be produced along with two additional gathering drones, to fill the recharging modules of Lanarine's station that now were empty.

Once they were done with the work he asked her to meet him in the command center.

-Could you lower the control settings a bit?

She asked him the moment she entered the command center.

-I will follow your orders, but it's unsettling and undignified to have no control over my own body like this.

She explained her reasoning.

He thought for a moment and saw no problem with it as long as she would behave.

-Lower the control to level 2.

He said.

Lanarine could feel the change and now she could move more freely.

-Thank you.

She said with visible relief as it was a gamble for her to ask for it.

He only nodded.

-Let's set some rules now.

He said, piquing her curiosity and fear.

She had no idea what he wanted to accomplish by that but whatever it was she would have to agree whether she liked it or not.

-First of all, you can sleep in your own living quarters module as I'm sure that it will be less stressful for you.

He said surprising her.

She never thought that he would consider it or that he would even care.

-Since you are an Astro geologist, you will be responsible for resource identification and gathering.

I already ordered ten mining drones to be manufactured and two additional gathering drones, which are the most I can do for now since I sold the rest of the materials.

He didn't mention that he wanted more blueprints for drones but there were none available this time.

The alien woman nodded.

She had no objection to it as it was her field of expertise.

-Other than that you can use all the facilities this station has to offer without restrictions.

The last thing is that I also bought some items for you and they are now in my beginning module so I would appreciate it if you took them and stored them in your chest or wherever you see fit.

Lanarine was looking at him a bit dumbfounded, she had never imagined that the rules he set would be so easy to follow, not to mention he didn't order her to serve him with her body or do anything she would find offensive or immoral.

On the other hand, she felt a pinch to her pride as a female as she was quite confident in her looks and this human didn't even try anything with her.

It's not like she wanted to be used for his pleasure, but it also didn't feel right, that he didn't seem to be interested in her that way, while when she was on her planet she was constantly chased by many suitors wherever she went.

-Also, Your name is a bit long and hard to pronounce, so if you don't have anything against it, I will call you Lan from now on.

Her eyes widened when she heard him asking if she agreed when he could simply order her to comply.

She nodded slowly agreeing to it as it was not something hard to get used to.

Lan was baffled as the more she interacted with him the more her impression of him changed.

-Great, now go gather your things and get some rest.

Andrew said while he got to the drone control console and started setting up the targets for the drones as he needed to gather more resources not only for the merchants but to produce more drones, now he had over 332 tonnes of storage space to fill and only four and a half day's left to do so.

Lanarine left when he told her to as she didn't want to see if he would dial the control back up if she tried to defy him and to be honest she was quite tired.

The items he bought for her consisted of a few sets of clothes, and a new space suit since he was not sure if her old one would be sent with her station, other than that he got enough food to last her for at least two months, a new first aid kit for her species, another chest that she would have to assemble herself and to her surprise a bed, which to her was a luxury that she could not afford before and she slept on the bunk in the living quarter module of her station.

Now that she had found everything he bought for her she started to carry it to her beginning module before going to sleep, happy that this would be her last time sleeping on a hard bunk.

Andrew saw her going back and forward with her things as she had to go through the command center to get to her beginning module, but he paid her no mind and instead focused on the consoles.

After setting the targets for all the drones he went to the engineering station and saw the whole station in a holographic display.

It was far from pretty, but it was functional and it belonged to him.

Below the display he saw the list of the modules and upgrades and he had to admit that he was proud of his achievements as he read the list.
