Slaughterer's Ode To The Blade

A week had passed since their day off.

Eiji and the others didn't have any missions, so they were always at their training grounds.

At the second day after their day off.

Eiji saw that Akai was in a daze and his ki was all over the place. He at first thought that something was wrong with him, but then he observe a bit more and came to the conclusion that he was breaking through!

So Eiji asked Marco to gaurd him as he ran back to the HQ to tell the commander and ask for some help.

When the commander heard that Akai was breaking through the barrier for the Master level he happily ran with Eiji in the training grounds and guarded Akai.

A few minutes after arriving, Eiji saw Akai's ki was even more stronger than before and his aura was different.

He could feel a sense of oppression with his body.

Commander Sadou then helped Akai stabilize his realm and then sparred with him.

And so, the next days until now, Eiji and Marco were sparring two versus one against Akai!

Eiji felt Akai's new strength very powerful.

But with two versus one, and being familiar with each other, the both of them neutralized Akai.

Eiji and Marco couldn't catch or overpower Akai now and Akai couldn't get them off guard and he still has to be wary by Marco's Blood Sword Power and Eiji's Quick Draw, with the two's seamless cooperation, Akai had to be very cautious when fighting these two.

Regardless of who would win or lose though, it was a great boost for their team of three, with Akai breaking through.

As Akai slowly got used to his new power, Marco had also told them that he might also be breaking through in a couple of days.

Akai and Eiji happily congratulated him early, and although Eiji hadn't said anything, Both Akai and Marco could feel that Eiji could've broken through a long time ago but was suppressing it for some reason.

Eiji also didn't tell them.

For one it was because of his sword intent. Him and his master had to spar once a week with their sword intent for Eiji to not get dull as he had to hold back all these time.

And now with Eiji getting used on his sword intent, he was also ready in breaking through the Master Level!

And so, These days, it had been very busy for the three of them.

They helped Akai get used to his new power and Marco was preparing for his breakthrough.

And just three days after Akai's Breakthrough, Marco also broke through the Master level swordsman!

Now, only Eiji hadn't become a Master level yet!

And after Marco broke through, Akai and Marco had been sparring one on one.

Even though they sparred with Eiji, at first they thought they had to hold back, bit they were very mistaken!

At first, both of them held back in using their blood sword powers, now Akai could hide in the dark for up ten to twelve minutes, which was very different from the past which was just over a minute or two!

And Marco could also block his enemies sight for almost ten seconds!

Ten seconds in a fight blinded is very very deadly!

And with both of them thinking of handicapping themselves, Eiji's speed proved them wrong!

Akai had to hide in the shadows as in the first one on one, Eiji was the one stalking him rather than him with his blood sword power!

Marco had to use his Blood Sword Power over and over again as he ran, because he didn't want to spin around the air once more like what happened in the tournament!

Although they still managed to beat Eiji, it was because they both now have ten times more ki than him and has more qualitative power.

But with speed, Eiji still beat them although very slight, it was more than enough!

The both of them could only shudder in thought as they imagined Eiji's speed when he break through the Master Level!

They knew that the power you get in your break through is always dependent on your own accumulated physical and ki power!

So the more ki and the stronger your physical strength is, the more it is enhanced when you break through!

Akai had been trained in an explosive style of fighting so he now has more burst and explosive power in his attacks which was both powerful and fast!

While Marco was more on unpredictability and the quick attack in a decisive moment!

While Eiji focuses on speed and speed alone!

And with Eiji nearing his break through, Akai and Marco couldn't help but get antsy and trained even harder!

Marco had thought that becoming a Master level swordsman, he would take it easy and get more experience in his work but with the way his team was, With Akai not stopping his training and does it with dedication and then with Eiji's abnormal speed, he needs to get stronger everyday to not become the weak link in his team!
