Shadow Slave: Reaction

Time line : before Cassie first visited Sunny. (Just after the third nightmare timeskip)

A huge screen with a text that said "You Will React" is the weirdest thing Rain has seen for today. However, being teleported here with popular figures such as Changing Star and her cohort, the elite group of fire keepers and many more saints is already weird enough, this particular screen gives her bad feelings.

The whole theater felt normal except the huge screen at the front. At the same time, everyone here lost their connection with the spell yet the auras of the saints are still suffocating her.

"I believe not everyone here is familiar with each other."

Lady Changing Star's voice echoed across the theater. Her voice is both soft and ethereal but full of authority.

"I suggest everyone to introduce themselves. Enemies or not, the important thing is cooperation to leave this place."

With that, one by one all the people inside the theater introduced themselves to everyone. The most notable of them are the saints of the great clans and the government saints.

Although Rain is already familiar with them, seeing them face to face is such an unreal experience.

"Oh am I next? My apologies."

A man with black hair stood up. He has a handsome face comparable to the other saints. He looks harmless and friendly but the aura produced by the saints of the Valor clan told the opposite.

'This man is dangerous.'

With all the thing her teacher said to her, his"The most harmless looking thing might be the most dangerous" qoute and the story about the 'damned tree' his teacher always tells her is the one that reminded her of this man. Rain trembled as the mysterious man talked again.

"Well this is quite welcoming don't you think? People of Valor. I am Mordret, I am just a normal saint."

He bowed slightly and smiled, ignoring the look the saints are giving him. At some point his eyes landed on Rain but immediately transferred his gaze into someone else.

'T-that was... terrifying.'

But just as she thought she was safe, she felt gaze upon gazes lay their attention on to her.

"Wha-

"Lady it's your turn. Please introduce yourself" Saint Summer Knight, Gilead looked at Rain. Unlike other saints, his look is without any pressure, convincing Rain to introduce herself.

"I-I am Rain. I currently live in Ravenheart. I am a mundane human and am training to prepare myself to awaken with my master."

Rain's pace of speaking was fast due to nervousness but it was clear for everyone to hear. Rain sighed in relief, some of the gazes were now withdrawn and she knew that all of it will soon follow.

Just as they are about to move on with the other people, Lady Changing Star spoke.

"Master? Who is your master? "

The gazes again fell to Rain making her shudder.

"M-my master is-

"You will react."

A robotic voice similar to the spell's was produced by the huge screen infront of them. And soon the huge screen lit up, showing a face familiar to Rain.

'Master!?'
