Rencarnation Room {Other Story line}

Chapter 176: Ascension Exam

An aura of silence enveloped the room, only the subtle sounds of the incubator continuing to work could be heard, as if an accompaniment to the deep thoughts spinning in El's head.

In addition to getting the portable Incubator he was after, El also found something very interesting. A special item that can be used to create divine fire.

El slowly raised his hand, and a bright purple flame appeared in his palm gently. However, the aura that enveloped it seemed to have an intensity capable of burning heaven and earth.

The heat was so intense, causing the air around to tremble and appear distorted, as if the world was unable to withstand the existence of that flame.

That was the Zixuan Spirit Flame, a flame that glowed with a divine aura presenting a perfect blend of warmth, majesty, and destructive power.

"Zixuan Spirit Flame," El murmured, his voice low but echoing in the silence of the room. "This divine flame was created by anointing and burning Amaterasu on the Fire Spirit Core that I won at the auction house, for 150,000 Points."

From the beginning, the Zixuan Spirit Flame was designed to use Qi-like energy as its fuel.

As such, El relies on the Alter Ring, an item that can convert her stamina into specialized energy at a conversion ratio of 1:10.

This conversion allowed El to control the flame without sufficient Qi energy, but at a high price, it was worth the power it provided.

With his former VIT attribute in the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba, perhaps overusing the Zixuan Spirit Flame was almost impossible for El.

His stamina drained far faster than her body regenerated, making the flame more of a burden than an asset.

However, now with a significant increase in her VIT points, El could utilize the Heavenly Flame more freely.

Even so, he was still cautious and would only use that power when he was truly ready.

El frowned, remembering how painful the absorption process was as the flames burned his body, soul, and mind mercilessly, brutally merging into his energy.

The excruciating heat almost caused her to lose consciousness, but El persevered with incredible resilience.

As the flames merged completely, the Gumiho (Fake) costume he wore was completely destroyed, unable to withstand the devastating energy of the flames.

Unlike most other cultivators who needed the help of a pill to absorb the Heavenly Flame, El did not need such a complicated procedure.

As long as his body was qualified, El could possess that power. Otherwise, the flame would disappear automatically.

Once the Zixuan Spirit Flame was fully absorbed, the energy was immediately processed by the system, turning it into a new Skill without any waste.

This process once again confirmed that the existence of the Reincarnation Room and its accompanying system was far more complex and mysterious than El's initial guess.

Five minutes later, the Zixuan Spirit Flame finally extinguished, leaving a thin plume of smoke that dissipated in the air. El lowered his hand, sighing heavily.

He stared blankly at his now empty palm, his expression flat, but his mind moving quickly.

"Although this fire is very powerful," he muttered softly, "without Qi energy, its power is drastically reduced." El closed his eyes for a moment. "The world of Soul Land, it seems like a very good destination... The weapon forging technique is perfect for me."

Letting out a long breath, El opened his eyes again. "I want to explore the world with the concept of Qi energy using the world regulator medallion," he said, his voice low but firm. "But, it seems that I'll have to postpone that."

"I have to apply for a level-up mission first," El said, raising her gaze to the holographic screen. "To push the limits of my attributes, skills and become even stronger."

Extending his hand, El turned off the holographic screen. "Being strong is not just an ambition," he said in a low voice. "For a Beyonder, it is a duty."

El stood up, walked to the nearby Incubator, placed his palm on the incubator, suddenly the Incubator shrank, El looked down, took the Incubator and stored it in Sky Pearl Poison.

After that, access the Reincarnation Room shop to purchase 10 stamina-restoring potions and 5 high-level healing potions. Now El had 7,000 Points left.

"Money goes so fast... " El said with a sigh. Then, El said to the Reincarnation Room's controlling system. "System, I would like to apply for the Ascension Exam."

In front of the holographic screen displaying the details of the Ascension Test Mission, El smiled faintly. His eyes swept the information carefully, processing each requirement quickly.

"I should have completed one of these missions earlier," El murmured in a calm yet confident tone.

"Now, there are only two missions left," El continued, his eyes turning serious. "The second and third missions. I'm sure they'll be much more difficult." He paused for a moment, replaying memories of his battle with Aldebaran.

"I won against Aldebaran because of Rinnegan, and that thing eventually gave itself up to be killed," El said in a flat, calculating voice.

"Otherwise, it would have been impossible for me to defeat a creature with regeneration on par with Muzan and the Upper Moon Demon," El furrowed his brow. "They can also be killed because of the Nichirin Blade, which is one of the weaknesses of Demon Races like Muzan."

El let out a long breath, as if trying to banish the image of that battle from his mind.

However, wasting no time, he quickly shifted his focus. El's eyes returned to the holographic screen with unwavering determination.

"System," he called, his voice firm. "I want to go straight to the next mission."

Without waiting to be notified of his remaining rest time, El had made up his mind. There was no hesitation, no pause. For El, every second that passed was an opportunity to become stronger.
