I had a lot of questions and no time to answer them but what I was sure of was that I couldn't leave the girl here, so I carefully placed her inside one of Thanatos' coffins and flew back with the others.

After leaving the ship, Pheliss and I flew back to the Island, and there I witnessed something disturbing, Mythra and the others were at the highest point of the island in what looked like an unfinished construction site, there my companions were being attacked by a growing mass of tentacles.

I'm sure they could handle that but I decided to step in, I created a lightning sphere that repeatedly launched electrical attacks, I tore off large chunks of tentacles faster than they could grow, and when what I concluded was its core was exposed I descended while increasing my weight immensely, then I crushed the creature's core under my feet.

When the creature's body began to dissolve I knew I had hit the right spot, then I walked over to where the others were.

Yuuki: Hey, how are things going? What happened to Saddler?

Mythra: Master, that was Saddler.

I lifted my foot and stared at the soles of my shoes for a few seconds before shrugging my shoulders.

Yuuki: ah that's mission accomplished then, problem solved.

Saying that was like a challenge because, at that exact moment, I felt large portals opening under Ramón's castle, where the giant hives were.

I opened a portal to where Rhym was standing guard, Erica, Mythra, and Pheliss followed behind me, and on the other side of the portal I told them what was happening, There was no time to take the elevator so I destroyed it and we jumped through the elevator shaft, Erica put her hands around my neck so I could carry her.

When we reached the bottom of the mine, we saw the giant hives being sucked into numerous portals.

I tried to close the portals like I did on the ship, but I couldn't, whoever was opening those portals had a stronger ability than mine.

Yuuki: Damn, destroy the hives!

I was interested in studying those hives, but preventing them from falling into the hands of the enemy was more important, we launched a wave of powerful attacks, but at the end of it, the enemy was able to seize a third of the mine's riches.
