Eugene could only sigh and stare at his reflection in the mirror.

His adoptive parents are already at the hall greeting the guest so they're not in a hurry.

Eugene tried his best to regain his senses.

When Chantall returned in seconds, she saw that the man was already calm but still laying on the bed so she sat on the edge and nudge the man to drink water. Eugene feels like he lost his strength and just stares at the woman who is helping him sit and is assisting him to drink.

"Is your breathing stabilize now?"

Eugene's head fell on Chantall's shoulder.

"Why you didn't tell me you have an asthma? I shouldn't have to drag you like that."

Eugene gritted his teeth, "With how fast you run, I'm afraid I don't even have time to process whether it's a kidnapping or what. Also, I don't have asthma, I don't know the reason but I don't have any disease so you can rest assured that I won't charge you with intentional harm."

Eugene widen his eyes and pushed Chantall away upon hearing his brother's angry voice.

Kaizer looks at the two people in the bed and his eyes turn red in anger. Just by looking at Eugene's messy appearance and how the woman grabs Eugene's clothes. Kaizer who misunderstands the situation angrily walks forward and grabs the neck of the woman who is holding onto Eugene.
