Reborn as a Goddess with a World Creation System

Chapter 25: Celebrations and Revolutions in Arcadia

Ariana slowly lifted the lid of the enormous pot, and its contents still bubbled slightly, releasing its rich and enticing aroma that wafted through the welcoming kitchen, capturing the attention of all present.

The lady who had amicably invited Ariana to take part in the culinary process approached, her eyes brimming with curiosity. "What is this delicious concoction you've prepared?" she inquired, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

A mischievous smile graced Ariana's lips as she replied, "I like to call this beer. It just needs some time to cool and reach the perfect point." With a wave of her hand, Ariana placed her palms over the pot, conjuring a thin layer of ice that immediately began to cool the beverage, forming small ice cubes.

"How about being the first to try it?" Ariana invited the lady with a warm smile. The lady didn't hesitate and picked up a ladle and a glass. As she poured the beer into the glass, she couldn't help but admire its color and the way it gleamed under the soft kitchen lighting.

With the glass in hand, she brought it to her lips, and the moment the liquid touched her tongue, a sensation of delight coursed down her spine. Her eyes widened, and she couldn't contain her joy. "This is... divine!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with enchantment. It was as if she had been transported back to her youthful days.

All the people in the cozy kitchen quickly gathered around the large pot, eager to taste what Ariana had prepared. A wave of excitement filled the room as they scooped up some of the beer and sampled it. Ariana couldn't help but let out a satisfied laugh at the euphoria her creation had unleashed.

Ariana, effortlessly holding the large pot, carried it outside and placed it on a spacious table. The commotion and joy she generated were immediately noticed, drawing the attention of all those present at the gathering.

In a matter of minutes, the pot was empty, but the spirit of the party was livelier than ever. People danced, laughed, and sang, with Ariana's beer adding a special touch to the celebration. It was as if the magic of the drink had triggered a wave of euphoria and happiness that infected everyone.

Ariana spent the entire day celebrating and sharing special moments with the people of that welcoming village, enjoying their joy and companionship. She felt deeply grateful for the opportunity to take part in that unique celebration.

Before bidding farewell, Ariana made sure to leave the recipes for the beer and wine she had created with the kind lady who had invited her to cook. In addition, she shared the art of making the drinks and the secrets behind the fermentation process. With gratitude in her eyes, the lady accepted the recipes and Ariana's words.

In the following days, the beer and wine became treasured assets in the village, enjoyed at various celebrations, parties, and even in daily dinners. Ariana's drinks spread, bringing a touch of magic and joy to all who tasted them.

Ariana extended her arms and flew toward the desert once again. She landed on a massive crystal, and everything around her was a spectacle of towering, shimmering crystals, casting sparkling reflections in the barren landscape.

Ariana, filled with a desire to bring life to these biomes, summoned the System. A small light fairy materialized around her, hovering in the air like a spark of hope.

Reflecting on her past life and the creatures that inhabited the desert, Ariana sought inspiration. She triggered the "Mass Creation of Living Beings" ability and envisioned the existence of scorpions made of crystal, with razor-sharp crystal claws and highly toxic venom.

As a result, several of these crystal scorpions emerged, scurrying in all directions. Ariana watched with fascination as some of them stopped to ingest small crystals along their path, while others skillfully camouflaged themselves in the sand, becoming almost indistinguishable from their surroundings.

Now, Ariana turned her attention to creating two other creatures. The first of these was named "Crystal Specters," mysterious beings that moved like mirages. Made of pure energy, they were virtually invisible unless observed up close. At night, their forms glowed with an ethereal light, illuminating the desert and creating a magical spectacle.

The third and final creature she envisioned for the crystal desert was called "Crystalinos." These creatures had translucent, crystalline skins that allowed them to perfectly blend into their environment. They had the ability to refract sunlight to protect themselves from excessive heat and could create crystal shields to defend against predators.

Ariana, satisfied with her creations, observed the new forms of life interacting and exploring the crystal desert. She imagined how these creatures would fit perfectly into the shimmering landscape, making it even more unique and magical.

Elsewhere, in the realm of the dead, Ezekiel was seated with his eyes closed, his sword carefully resting on his lap, atop the mountain that dominated the vast island. The landscape around him was lush, filled with exotic and mysterious vegetation.

An imposing voice echoed, breaking his moment of contemplation. Ezekiel opened his eyes and found himself before the Goddess of Death, whose presence exuded an aura of serenity and mystery. With a gentle and delicate touch, she placed her hand on his shoulders, making him feel an unusual comfort in those shadowy lands.

"What do you think of your new purpose, young man?" the Goddess of Death inquired, her gaze as deep as the night's darkness.

Ezekiel pondered for a moment before responding earnestly, "I don't consider this a bad job. Assisting creatures that have already crossed to the other side in finding their way is a noble task, and I feel that I'm fulfilling a meaningful role."

"Oh, yes... I appreciate your response," the Goddess of Death murmured, a cryptic smile hovering on her pale lips.

"I have plans for your future, after all. This world will undergo significant changes and will require more than just you," she revealed as her figure slowly faded into the dark landscape of the realm of the dead.

Ezekiel was taken aback by the words of the Goddess of Death, although the meaning behind them remained somewhat obscure to him. Without further ado, he rose to his feet. A portal opened before him, and once again, he departed for Arcadia to continue his role in guiding lost souls.

Over the years, Arcadia witnessed a series of changes. Ariana frequently traversed various locations, changing her form at will. Some humans who did not recognize her inquired about her origin, but she simply mentioned being from "another place." Curiosity was apparent, but they no longer asked further questions. Aurora observed her closely, but it didn't bother Ariana.

The interaction between Ariana and the primordial fairies became habitual, and her presence in their homes as she rested generated a certain mixture of fear and reverence, as she represented a highly significant figure for them.

Fifty years had passed, bringing significant changes to Arcadia. The human village had grown considerably, now adorned with small shops, bars, and even a modest hall dedicated to the execution of missions. A local economy flourished, introducing monetary divisions: bronze, silver, and gold coins. Silver was worth a hundred bronze coins, while gold, in turn, equated to a hundred silver coins.

This new economy emerged as recognition for the hard work of families over the years. Those who served the village for generations, previously compensated only with food, now received coins in proportion to their years of service. Some families were favored with more coins than others, but overall, they felt satisfied with the acknowledgment.

The implementation of a guild for missions expanded job opportunities. People could propose missions to the guild to be executed by others and, in return, be rewarded. Additionally, they could also fulfill missions designated by the village in exchange for coins.

The village administration expanded. Kayn, despite his continued skill development, realized that his growth had become slower, understanding that his life expectancy depended on it. The administration included treasurers responsible for the economy, while Aqua and others cared for agriculture and animals. Aurora led education and new health services, teaching healing skills to those with talent. Noah and Theo were in charge of security and exploration of new regions.
