Progenitor Vampire: I Have Many Skills!

Chapter 505: Memories coming back

"If you allow yourself to be consumed by it, you will certainly die."

"Look within, understand Control. Divide your power and get rid of that which stands in your way. You have the answer to many of your questions, for you are my child. The Heir of Origin, the one who will once create a New Age. Have confidence in yourself and allow the Dietrich blood to consume the fear within you."

"Let our holy blood remind you of who you are."

He walked as he spoke and soon came to Matthew's front. "Get rid of it and create something different. You can do it, can't you?" He smiled and gave Matthew a slight touch on the head.

This small touch caused his mind to go dark again as he felt himself falling. He immediately lost all vision in his body and felt himself falling off a cliff slowly.

At the same time, countless memories flooded his mind.

Memories and thoughts swirled back and forth, leading him to think of that transformation.

Several years ago, he created The Blood Transformation when he was under attack by the traitors and the people of the Human Empire.

At that time, that transformation was powerful, but soon after, he realized how problematic it was.

And at this moment he understood the reasons why.

The thirst for revenge had consumed his mind, the power within him and his blood unconsciously connected with the Path of Destruction. It was only for a moment, but this made his mind even more consumed by the thirst for revenge, which gave birth to this transformation.

That was because his blood connected to the past without his knowledge, and he got his path of revenge on that path he once mastered but which now felt extremely far from him.

But that path no longer belonged to him.

He lost it or, rather, got rid of it.

All the problems caused by that are still hitting him, preventing him from being able to use the Vampire Mark.

'Getting rid of the ability...' He thought. Though his body seemed to be drooping, he didn't care.

His mind was working on something different.

He wanted to eliminate the ability, and this was the right time.

In his mind, somehow, all of his abilities were in front of him, including Blood Transformation.

'Control opens the way for me. If I can control the power within me, I can also control my abilities, for they belong to a part of my power. That being the case, I know I can take you out of me, for you are useless to me as you are.'

He came face to face once more with that Transformation and remorselessly grasped it in the palm of his hand.

'If something is useless, you can throw it away, can't you?'

So he held it tightly and tried to pull it away. Still, it resisted.

At the same time, he felt a sharp pain in his body.

Pulling out a skill was not simple, but he needed to do it.

So he endured the pain he felt in his body and began to move his power. Suddenly, his power turned around him, coming from every corner of this dark place he was falling through.

That only meant that he was inside his own body. That gave him more courage to unleash his power. Inside his body, he is the king.

No one can oppose him in this place.

"Even if you are an ability born from me, you cannot oppose me. I created you so I can destroy you."

His mind became clearer, and he held tightly on the ability he wanted to move. Then, his power began to slowly surround it. It was a rather large but perfectly controlled amount of power, which slowly allowed Matthew to pull it.

Every movement was painful to his body, which made all his power around it shudder with force, but the power surrounding the ability, which seemed to come from his hand, was perfectly controlled.

Nothing that happened around him affected him.

When the ability moved about four times in the direction of where Matthew was, what appeared to be a power barrier emerged, showing itself on all sides in the form of a chain.

This chain seemed to hold the abilities in one place perfectly.

'It feels like mental power. Could it be related to the soul?' thought Matthew. Still, he didn't care.

He knew perfectly well that the Control could remove this ability from his body without hurting his soul.

His memories told him so. Find adventures on empire

So, he immersed himself deeply in a slow and careful process of allowing his power to slowly infiltrate that chain of mental power to separate the mental power from this ability.

It was not a quick process; he had to do it slowly and carefully, for it represented many things, and he did not have as perfect a control of his own power as he believed.

During this process, he realized that his power control was only superficial at best.

'The Path of Control seems complicated, but I think I've got it.'

Along with his thinking, the power managed to infiltrate the hangars of mental power and this very mystical chain. Then, inside him, he felt as if something made a 'click' as the mind power chain gently released the ability in his hand without needing to break.

Although earlier it seemed like it would break if someone ripped off one of his belongings, somehow, this time, it let go of that 'belonging' as if it was nothing or meant nothing.

'I made it.' Matthew smiled and quickly pulled out his hand with the ability in it.

The skill was like a small ball of deep red energy, which seemed to have vampiric power jumping back and forth. Even so, he no longer felt it in his body, and the pain in his body disappeared from one moment to the next.

As he stared at it, thinking about what he would do with it, he felt a sudden dizziness, as his mind fell again into darkness.

But he did not fall into a different place again. Instead, his mind returned to his body, and suddenly, a significant surge of information hit him again.

No, it wasn't information. It was memories from the past.

Numerous memories of what he once was, what he achieved, and what characterized him back then haunted his mind, along with memories of his family.

He was not very close to his brothers and sisters in the past, and they didn't seem to get along very well, although he didn't understand why. That is why he got along so well with his father, who was almost always there for him.

The more he saw of what his short life was like in the past, the more he understood what might be the plan that father and son had drawn up in the past. While not all of the memories came to him, several answers were answered in his head.

The first of these was troubling.

His memories told him that what he was seeing was just a tiny speck of dust in the scheme of things.

He was not seeing the situation as he needed to see it.

'...The world is bigger beyond Vampiric Limbo. But that Limbo wasn't there before, when did it appear?' he thought.

Beyond Vampire Limbo, there is more world. There is the Midlands, where Clan Hill possibly was, for as Paul Hoffman had written, Clan Hill had managed to station itself.

And speaking of the Hill Clan, Matthew also had memories of them.

But it wasn't so important to think about them right now; that would just fill his mind with meaningless worries. So he needed to focus on what was important to him right now, which was many things, but the most curious was Vampire Limbo.

'Possibly, it's something like a mental realm or maybe a place with many powerful beasts, right? Gray told me he went there several times, but does it have something to do with the increase in power after 140,000, or did he personally go there to challenge it every time he increased his power?'

Initially, he thought it was the first option. He thought it was some mental realm and so that possibility was in his head. But now that he knew more things, he realized that it might not be that.

'I'll have to visit it soon. The other thing I have to visit is the vicinity of that ice place. I got almost no souvenirs from that place, but it should be very important.'

'On the other hand, the Vampire Prosperity Organization... Shit, so you're using something that belongs to me to think you're superior to my Clan. Heh, I'll show you what a Dietrich Skill means and its difference from mere things created by my Clan.' Determined, he tried to wake up.

Opening his eyes, he found that he was lying gently on the body of a beautiful woman.

"Isa... Isla." He said softly, greeting her.

Isla turned to see him and noticed that he was awake. She also noticed something different about him.

'The Dietrich Dignity has returned to him.' She thought in amazement.

Matthew's aura was not the same.

Just as Isla's Aura had changed a moment ago, so had Matthew's.

It unleashed an amazing innate ability named Dietrich Dignity, which is blood suppression, so it was easily understandable.

She smiled at him, "You're back."
