Chapter 86: Capturing Larvitar!
At the Secret Realm's Entrance
The pirate leader, who had fled the island, began to piece things together.
Something didn't feel right.
After calming down and reassessing the situation, a clear realization hit him:
The boy and girl were still on the island.
Their strength couldn't possibly surpass his. They must have simply relied on their Psychic Pokémon to dismantle his groups one by one.
"So, why am I running away?"
This was a brand-new secret realm. It even had a Tyranitar, a pseudo-legendary Pokémon. If this secret realm fell into the hands of the Pokémon Alliance because of that brat's report, it'd be a massive loss!
"No way. I have to go back!"
Making up his mind, the pirate leader gathered his remaining lackeys and returned to the island, this time searching for Hikaru more carefully.
It didn't take long before they re-captured the hostages Hikaru had saved earlier.
Despite the young girl with her Pokémon putting up a fierce resistance, the pirates overpowered her with sheer numbers.

Inside the Secret Realm
Hikaru was busy at work crafting a batch of Rock-Type Special Attack Energy Blocks.
He set one in front of Tyranitar and another in front of Larvitar.
"Roar?"
"Lar?"
Tyranitar hesitated but sniffed at the block curiously. Larvitar, however, immediately perked up, its small body trembling with excitement.
Even Tyranitar, drained from the recent battle, could feel its energy reviving just from the aroma.
"Go ahead, try it. I made these from the Sand Gems. They're much better than eating plain old rocks."
As Larvitar eagerly devoured the block, Hikaru quietly used his Inspection Eye on it:
---
[Pokémon]: Larvitar
Ability: Guts
Gender: Female
Potential: Champion
Level: 17
Moves: Tackle, Payback, Leer, Rock Throw, Bite, Rock Slide, Crunch, Stealth Rock, Iron Head, Endure.
---
A shiny Larvitar with champion-level potential! Hikaru couldn't hide his excitement.
"How's the taste?" he asked.
"Lar! Lar!" Larvitar chirped, wagging its tail.
Tyranitar's sharp eyes softened slightly as it observed the interaction.
"Would you like more of these in the future?" Hikaru grinned, leaning toward Larvitar.
"Lar! Lar!"
---
With the young Larvitar charmed, Hikaru turned to Tyranitar.
"Now, Tyranitar, I'd like to ask you something," he began. "I want to become Larvitar's partner. Would you allow that?"
Tyranitar growled lowly, towering over Hikaru.
The sheer size and power of the Pokémon sent a shiver down his spine. However, its menacing stance soon softened, and it gave a slight nod.
Hikaru's face lit up. "Thank you!"
He gently offered Larvitar a Poké Ball. "Welcome to the team!"
The shiny Larvitar didn't hesitate, pressing the ball with its tiny head.
Capture complete!
---
Tyranitar, however, didn't seem ready to part ways just yet.
"What about you, Tyranitar?" Hikaru asked. "Would you like to join us and see the outside world?"
The giant Pokémon hesitated before giving another low growl of agreement.
Hikaru produced a temporary Poké Ball and recalled Tyranitar.
With the battle over and the area clear of danger, Hikaru decided to rest in the camp he'd set up nearby.

The Next Morning
The pirates, now regrouped after searching all night, spotted Hikaru emerging from the secret realm with Latias and Manaphy by his side.
"Hey, you're finally showing yourself, brat!" the pirate leader shouted, his eyes narrowing in anger.
Looking past him, Hikaru saw the hostages tied up once again.
"Looks like you've been busy," Hikaru said coldly. He quickly gave Latias a telepathic command: "Prioritize rescuing the hostages."
"On it," Latias responded, vanishing into thin air.
The pirate leader squinted at Hikaru's companions and noticed the mythical Pokémon floating nearby.
"Is that... Manaphy?!"
His breath hitched as he recalled his superior's bounty: a Dragonite egg from her own champion-level Dragonite, promised to anyone who provided information about Manaphy.
"Everyone! Forget the treasure—capture that Pokémon!" the pirate leader commanded, his greed overtaking his reason.
---
The pirates unleashed a small army of Parasect and Zubat, swarming toward Hikaru.
"Let's finish this," Hikaru said calmly, pulling out a Poké Ball.
He released Tyranitar, who immediately unleashed its Sand Stream ability. A powerful sandstorm swept through the area, obscuring visibility and striking fear into the pirates.
The sheer presence of the massive Pokémon caused many of the pirates to falter.
---
"Alright, Charizard, Greninja, time to join in! Don't let anyone escape!"
At Hikaru's command, his Pokémon surrounded the pirates, cutting off all potential escape routes.
Tyranitar, however, wasn't interested in strategy.
The moment it saw the pirates—specifically the leader—it recognized the thieves who had stolen its Sand Gems.
Its rage reignited, and it roared ferociously.
The ground trembled as a Hyper Beam charged in its maw.
"Wait—Tyranitar, hold on!" Hikaru shouted, realizing the massive attack would destroy everything in its path.
But Tyranitar was beyond reasoning. Its Hyper Beam fired, narrowly missing the pirate leader but leaving a massive crater in the ground.
---
The battle became a one-sided massacre.
Even as the pirates desperately tried to fight back, their Pokémon were no match for the combined power of Hikaru's team and Tyranitar's fury.
By the end of the skirmish, the pirates were incapacitated, their Pokémon fainted, and the hostages freed.
Hikaru stood amidst the chaos, his team unscathed and triumphant.
"Let's tie these guys up and call the Alliance," he said.
"Lar!" Larvitar chirped, tugging at his pant leg as if to say, "Good job!"
Hikaru smiled, patting its head. "Yeah, we did well, didn't we?"
