Albedo had already carefully planned everything regarding Peroroncino. She deliberately looking for humans to trouble Pandora, who was playing the adventurer Momon, so that he couldn't return to the Hall of Treasures. This way, he would never discover anything.

Albedo had the highest authority after the Supreme being, making it very easy for her to enter the Treasury. Once inside, she took out items that could block Message and prevent teleportation.

After killing Peroroncino, she had people send the items back to the Treasury. Once Pandora left the Treasury, it was then guarded by individuals Albedo had arranged.

"Ainz-sama, upon arriving there, I asked Albedo about the appearance of the enemies and the direction they fled in. I then sent out all of the Hanzō and others with fast movement or exceptional scouting abilities to conduct a thorough search," Demiurge explained.

"Currently, none of the scouts are missing, and they have found nothing!"

Momonga clenched his fists and slammed one into the wall.

Demiurge had done very well; Momonga knew he had done everything he wanted to do at this moment.

"Ainz-sama, I bear great responsibility for Lord Peroroncino's death. As the one in charge of intelligence, I failed to uncover the conspiracy against Lord Peroroncino. Please allow me to accompany Lord Peroroncino in death," Demiurge said seriously.

"Albedo, have you seen the Perfect Resurrection Jade on Peroroncino?"

"Perfect Resurrection Jade..." Shalltear murmured, then looked toward Albedo.

Albedo's heart trembled. "Has Shalltear remembered it?"

Shalltear glared at Albedo. For some reason, she felt an overwhelming sense of anger.

Shalltear was already furious over Lord Peroroncino's death.

But when she looked at Albedo, all her anger seemed to shift directly onto her.

The more she looked, the angrier she became, and her emotions reached the verge of a breakdown. As for why she was angry, Shalltear didn't know, and didn't care—she only had one thought now: to tear Albedo apart.

Shalltear's body began to change. Gradually, she transformed completely into the form of a lamprey.

She lunged directly at Albedo under the gazes of the many guardians.

Albedo had already noticed that something was wrong with Shalltear. But now, she couldn't defend herself; she had to act as if she was completely unprepared against Shalltear.

Albedo was knocked to the ground by Shalltear, who relentlessly attacked her.

"Shalltear, stop!" Momonga called out.

However, Shalltear completely ignored Momonga's orders.

She continued to crazily attack Albedo, and the other guardians quickly intervened, pulling Shalltear away.

But Shalltear still wanted to attack Albedo.

Momonga glanced at the guardians' status bars. Shalltear's name was in white, which meant she wasn't under any mental control.

"Lock Shalltear up! I want to interrogate her alone."

"Understood!"

Cocytus and Demiurge forcibly took the berserk Shalltear away.

As she watched them leave, Albedo understood. Ainz-sama was on her side. The fact that she would be interrogated alone meant that no one else would know what Shalltear said except for Ainz.

"Ainz-sama is truly amazing!" Albedo thought to herself.

Momonga arranged for Pandora to send Peroroncino's Legendary Command and the Banner of Myriad Demons and Ghosts from Shalltear to the Treasury.

After all, it was Peroroncino's item. His body was frozen by Cocytus, and was brought by Aura and Mare to their floor, temporarily placed in the Sea of Flowers.

This was because Peroroncino had once mentioned that he liked beautiful things—beautiful scenery, beautiful flowers, and beautiful women.

Momonga began to interrogate the now calm Shalltear alone.

"Shalltear, why did you attack Albedo?" Momonga asked.

"Because I wanted to attack her," Shalltear replied.

"What's the reason?" Momonga asked.

"I don't know, I just simply wanted to attack her," Shalltear replied.

Momonga used the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown to check Shalltear's condition.

There were no negative effects.

"Did you remember something?"

"No."

"Did you attack her because Albedo didn't protect Peroroncino well?"

"No."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes!" Shalltear's expression was firm.

"You're sure of it, but you haven't remembered anything. Why are you so certain?"

"I don't know, but I am absolutely certain."

Suddenly, Momonga thought of a possibility: "Albedo is the real murderer who killed Peroroncino."

"If this hypothesis is true, everything becomes clear. But with Albedo's combat power, she couldn't even defeat Shalltear. How did she manage to kill Peroroncino?"
