Orion and the Primordial System

Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Benefits for the People of Eryndor

Orion took a brief pause, allowing his previous words to resonate in everyone's minds. His eyes, a deep and intense blue, scanned the crowd.

The silence was absolute, as if the entire world was waiting for him to continue.

"My dear citizens," he began, his voice echoing with serene authority, "throughout history, we have seen powerful empires rise and fall. No matter how great they seemed, many were destroyed not only by external forces but by weaknesses within their own borders. The fire that sustained their greatness was extinguished, consumed by the flames of corruption, disunity, and internal weakness."

The eyes of the crowd were fixed on every movement of Orion, his words embedding deeply in their hearts.

He continued, with increasing intensity:

"There have been empires that were not strong enough, and their flames were suffocated by invaders or by their own internal betrayals. They forgot what made them great and succumbed to adversity. Internal conflicts, greed, neglect of the people, and abandonment of the pursuit of strength and growth led to their downfall."

Orion slowly raised a hand, as if holding an invisible flame.

"And this flame... is fragile. It can be easily extinguished if we do not take care of it. What defines an empire is not just its military strength or the size of its borders. It is the unity of its people, the determination of each of you not to bow before adversity, whether internal or external."

He lowered his hand, allowing the people to reflect on his words.

"Today, we are here because Eryndor has flourished, but it is not enough. The strength we have conquered thus far needs to be renewed, reinforced. All of you must become the rock that supports our empire. We must be as firm as steel, so that neither time, nor enemies, nor internal betrayals can extinguish the flame that shines within us."

The crowd was silent, completely absorbed by their Emperor's words. Orion, observing the impact he was having, paused once more before concluding:

"I will not allow Eryndor to suffer the same fate as other fallen empires. You, my people, are the key to this. And for our flame to continue shining, you must be strong in body, mind, and spirit. Only together can we withstand the storms that will inevitably come."

---

After the speech to his citizens, Orion, now standing with his back to the people, directed his firm gaze towards the empire's advisors. With a simple wave of his hand, something extraordinary happened. The advisors, who once played a crucial role in the founding of Eryndor, began to float in a circle in the sky. All the citizens watched, their eyes fixed on what was about to happen.

Turning slowly to the crowd, Orion spoke with a gentle yet powerful voice that echoed in the hearts of all: "Today, here in this place, I will unleash the potential that has faded through generations in your families."

Orion scanned the crowd with his gaze before raising his hands, focusing on an ancestral energy.

He then activated the Dao of Fate and Time, tracing back the lineage of the advisors' ancestors.

What began as a small beam of light soon expanded, enveloping the advisors in a spiral of pure energy. Their bodies started to be reshaped from the inside out.

First, their souls underwent profound and frightening changes, being purified and strengthened.

Then, their physical bodies materialized, rejuvenated and full of vigor, as if they had returned to their prime.

New Spiritual Roots sprouted from their beings, radiating power.

The process, which seemed to last hours for the spectators, occurred in just a few minutes.

And then, in a grand finale, the spheres of light in the sky exploded like a supernova, spreading a magnificent glow throughout the square.

When the light dimmed, the people could see the new appearance of the rejuvenated advisors, filled with energy and immeasurable power.

The advisors, now more powerful, slowly descended from the sky as if it were an extension of the very ground.

Their firm and imposing steps echoed through the air as they returned to the stage in the square.

As they approached Orion, they bowed deeply, a gesture overflowing with gratitude and respect for the benevolence of their Emperor.

Orion closely observed them, analyzing the profound changes in their bodies and spirits.

Ankar, now presented himself as a man in his prime, around thirty years old.

His body was sculpted, strong but without unnecessary exaggeration, radiating vigor and confidence.

The black eyes, which once carried the weight of decades of sacrifice, now sparkled with renewed energy, free from the fatigue that once plagued him.

His white hair, cut to ear length, gave him a mature charm, a magnetic presence that would certainly attract the attention of many young women.

Orion looked at his most loyal advisor and thought, "Show his system status."

Satisfied with Ankar's transformation, Orion turned his sharp gaze to the other advisors.

He noticed that each of them had changed in unique and striking ways; some now wore confident smiles, as if they had finally rediscovered the power they once possessed, while others exuded an aura of oppression, like giants awakening from a deep slumber, their overwhelming presence making the air around them feel heavy.

But there was something they all shared: the return of their youth.

Faces once marked by time were now vibrant, their energies restored. The light in each advisor's eyes seemed capable of challenging fate itself.

Orion, witnessing this scene, broke into a radiant smile, a smile that seemed to literally illuminate the environment around him, as if the sun itself were smiling along with him.

The light emanating from him bathed the advisors, and for a moment, even the shadows of the trees surrounding them appeared to bow in reverence.

"Now, you are truly ready," he said, his voice resonating like distant, soft thunder. "Ready to walk once more and contemplate the future of the empire that you yourselves have helped to build throughout the ages."

Orion's words echoed through the square, reaching every citizen like a promise of glory.

The advisors, renewed and powerful, now appeared like giants among mortals, and in their hearts, a flame of determination had been reignited.

The people looked at their leaders with a mix of admiration.

Orion's smile remained on his face, but there was a hint of mischief in his eyes, as if all of this were just the beginning of something even greater.

He knew that the potential he had just unleashed in the advisors would bring about significant changes, but the true challenge was only just beginning.

And thus began the transformation of the lineage of their ancestors among the inhabitants of Eryndor...
