Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Classes at Eryndor Academy
"Second," Jhon raised his left hand, a thin layer of black energy snaking around his fingers, "you must avoid direct manipulation of souls before you are ready. Many of you may be tempted to force control over spirits or attempt to influence the cycle of Samsara prematurely. Doing so without the necessary understanding may condemn you to be sucked into the eternal cycle, unable to free yourself."
A student in the front row, eyes wide, raised his hand hesitantly and asked, "Teacher, how do we know when we are ready to manipulate souls?"
Jhon turned his stern gaze to the young cultivator, his words sharp. "When you reach the Great Emperor stage, the beginning stage, which means you will be able to feel the natural flow between life and death around you effortlessly. When you realize that you can walk along the edge of the abyss of existence without fear, you will be ready to take the next step, and you will understand the importance of the soul to the balance of the universe. But until then... Be patient."
He continued the lesson in greater depth of detail, going into specific meditation and energy channeling techniques that were essential for anyone who wished to cultivate the Dao of Death safely.
The students listened intently, absorbing every word, knowing that the journey ahead would be long and full of trials, but that the reward, mastery over the supreme power of death, would be worth every sacrifice.
John ended the class with a final warning: "Remember, death is relentless. The path to mastery is arduous, but those who do so are rewarded with a power that few can even imagine."
And with that, he disappeared, leaving a trail of dark energy and a room full of aspiring young cultivators, all with their own dreams of greatness, now determined to walk the dangerous path of the Dao of Death.
---
John walked out of the classroom with a calm stride, his powerful presence felt by everyone around him.
Each student he passed bowed their head in respect, and he gave a slight nod in return, showing his recognition.
The path he took through the academy was always marked by an aura of admiration and reverence, for everyone knew that John, the master of the Dao of Death, was a feared and respected figure, both for his wisdom and his immense strength.
As he walked through the halls, a few braver students approached him to greet him.
"Good morning, Master John," said a young cultivator, his voice trembling.
Jhon stopped, looked at him, and smiled slightly, a rare gesture on his usually impassive face. "Continue your studies, young man. The path of Dao requires focus and discipline. You are on the right path."
The student quickly thanked him and left, visibly proud to have received even a brief comment from the master.
As he continued on his way, the murmurs of the students echoed through the halls, many wondering about Jhon's true power.
And in truth, few knew how deep this master's cultivation was. Only those at the highest level of the academy understood his true strength.

As he passed through the academy's library, Jhon glanced briefly at the large golden arches that formed the entrance.
Several students stood inside, immersed in ancient books, attempting to unravel the secrets of cultivation.
The atmosphere was solemn, filled with the quiet murmur of pages turning and the occasional whispers of scholars.
Jhon nodded briefly to the librarian, an elder who was his equal. They exchanged knowing glances, but no words.
He then continued on his way to the main hall of the academy, where the higher-level teachers gathered regularly to discuss student progress and teaching strategies.
The aura surrounding Jhon was so heavy that the teachers, no matter how powerful, immediately straightened their backs and paid respect to his presence.
One of the teachers, a late-level cultivator of the Dao of Fire, greeted him with a slight bow. "Master Jhon, the children in your class continue to progress rapidly. Your teaching is truly a blessing to the academy."
Jhon nodded. "The Dao of Death teaches discipline and patience. Those who do not respect these principles will perish. Guiding them is proving easier now that I have walked the path they will follow."
He looked around, sensing that time in the empire still flowed differently than the rest of the world. The spell Orion had cast over the Eryndor Empire allowed it to shape the future of generations to come, while the outside world barely noticed the passing of the years.
However, Jhon knew that his role was to prepare the students not only for the empire, but for the vast universe beyond, where powerful forces lurked, and where the very fate of the empire could be challenged. Of course, Eryndor had its teachers and guardians for the difficult times, but they would not intervene unless necessary.
Jhon entered the Eryndor Academy faculty room with an air of serenity.
His thoughts were immersed in the next class he would teach, young people between the ages of 13 and 14.
Today's class would be crucial. These students had already gone beyond the basic lessons and were about to delve into the complexities of the Dao. For them, it would be an important step forward in their cultivation journey.
Sitting on a wooden chair, Jhon remained absorbed in his reflections, his hands resting on the table as he visualized the questions that might arise.
His gaze was fixed on a point on the floor, but his mind was miles away, mentally reviewing every detail he would address.
He knew that the Dao of Reincarnation and Death that he wanted to teach his students was not something that could be learned through study alone; it was a truth of the universe that had to be understood in the soul.
However, immersed in his thoughts, he did not realize that he was no longer alone in the room. The doors to the side opened silently, and another figure entered. It was Selene Aetheris Vitalia, one of the most respected teachers at the Academy. Her presence was almost divine, as if the very environment around her became lighter.
She was a woman of impeccable beauty, with long greenish hair that waved down to her waist, shining in the light as if it had been touched by an ethereal field.
Her eyes, a light green, conveyed calm and wisdom, with an intensity that captivated anyone who looked at them.
Clara's face seemed sculpted by the gods themselves, with perfect features, balancing softness and power.
She wore a silk dress that flowed like water, delicately adjusted to her body, emanating a feeling of purity that was almost sacred.
The dress was simple but impeccably elegant, enveloping her in an aura of divine serenity. The fabric, draped around her shoulders and flowing in soft curves to her feet, made her look like a saint who had come down to Earth.
The harmony of the dress with her figure gave her an ethereal air, as if she belonged to a higher plane of existence.
Even with the simplicity of her attire, it was impossible not to notice the femininity of her form.
Her perfectly proportioned breasts and slender body were enhanced by the natural drape of the dress, while her long, shapely legs caught discreet glances whenever she moved.
Still, her posture and grace made anyone think twice before harboring inappropriate thoughts.
Selene was, in essence, an untouchable deity.
She carried an old book, whose pages were yellowed with age, and its cover showed signs of intensive use.
Jhon, who until then had been immersed in his own concerns, only noticed Selene's presence when she approached the table.
The book she carried in her hands was not just any book; it came from the highest floors of the imperial library, a section protected by Transcendent-grade formations that the emperor himself had placed with his divine ability. Only those with the highest authorizations could access such knowledge.
