Ares' calm yet declarative statement sent Kaido into a fiery rage.

"My fist… has no power?!"

Kaido's eyes burned like molten flames, and his face twisted with anger. No one had ever questioned his strength. It was his pride, his very essence, and now this kid was trampling all over it.

His voice roared like thunder: "Today, I'll show you the meaning of power!!!"

Kaido gripped his massive mace, the veins in his arms bulging like coiled ropes. His beastly aura surged outward, suffocating everyone nearby.

With a ferocious swing, Kaido aimed the mace directly at Ares.

The weapon sliced through the air, roaring like a vengeful ghost. Kaido's wide, furious eyes gleamed with sadistic anticipation.

"Let's see you survive this, brat!"

But Ares moved.

With uncanny speed, he leapt into the air, his body agile as a monkey. His feet landed squarely on the swinging mace.

Kaido froze, his expression morphing from rage to shock.

"What?!"

Before he could react, Ares launched himself from the mace, closing the distance between them in an instant. Kaido's eyes widened as a massive fist hurtled toward him.

Bang!!

Ares' punch smashed into Kaido's face with devastating force.

The sound of shattering bone rang out as Kaido's nose broke. Blood sprayed into the air, and several teeth flew from his mouth.

Kaido's massive body fell backward. His hands loosened, and the mace crashed to the ground with a heavy thud.

When Kaido's back hit the earth, the ground trembled violently. A thick cloud of dust rose, shrouding the battlefield.

Ares landed lightly beside Kaido's fallen form, his expression calm.

"Kaido," he said, looking down at him, "I'll remember your name."

A hint of intrigue flickered in his tone. "Your punch… it's useful. It made me stronger."

Ares flexed his fist. He had mimicked Kaido's technique, and the force of his own punch had exceeded anything he'd achieved before.

The entire battlefield fell silent.

Pirates and onlookers alike stared in stunned disbelief.

Finally, someone broke the silence with a trembling voice: "This kid… This kid is a monster!!!"

The outcry shattered the tension, and the pirates erupted into chaos.

"Kaido, the new monster, taken down in one punch?!"

"Unbelievable! I just lost my bet… Kaido was useless!"

"This brat… What kind of freak is he?!"

The noise grew louder, each voice echoing the same disbelief. Kaido, the strongest newcomer of the Rocks Pirates, had been defeated in seconds.

Even Rocks, watching from a distance, looked impressed. His sharp, domineering eyes glinted with excitement.

"Jiejie… This kid is something else," he muttered, grinning. "Exceptional reflexes, terrifying strength, and an indomitable will."

He burst into laughter, his booming voice cutting through the chaos. "Hahaha! This boy will grow into a fearsome pirate someday!"

Rocks couldn't hide his satisfaction. What had begun as a simple treasure raid had turned into the discovery of an extraordinary talent—Ares.

Captain John took a swig of wine, his grin widening as he wiped his mouth.

"This kid…" he said, his voice carrying admiration. "With no proper training, he's already this strong. In two or three years, I bet only you, Captain, will be able to keep him in line."

John's words carried weight. To him, Ares wasn't just a strong fighter—he was a potential game-changer for the Rocks Pirates in their war against the World Government.

Nearby, Whitebeard roared with laughter.

"Ku la la la! I told you that brat would win!"

He turned to Shiki with a triumphant grin. "That's 100 million Berries you owe me!"

Whitebeard's joy was infectious, his booming laughter echoing across the battlefield. Winning the bet against the Golden Lion seemed to bring him more joy than any treasure haul.

Shiki, however, wasn't so pleased. His cigar was clenched tightly between his teeth as he scowled.

"Hmph!" he muttered bitterly.

Biting down on the cigar, Shiki growled: "Fine, you won this time, Whitebeard. But next time, I'll make sure you lose."

Despite his irritation, Shiki couldn't take his eyes off Ares.

"I want that kid in my squad," he muttered, his ambition reigniting. "With the right guidance, he'll grow into a pirate who'll shake the entire sea."

But one lingering thought nagged at him:

Would Ares be able to resist Linlin's inevitable advances?
