One Piece - Life Choice Ask Me to Kiss Marine Goddes Hina

Chapter 124: 124 Mirror Twins

"I see."

After hanging up the Den-Den Mushi, Lynch's eyes flickered as he pondered his thoughts.

Those old men really aren't holding back anything good these days.

Whenever they get together, they either talk about other people's wives or are too exhausted to think of anything else.

Had his secret actions been discovered? No, if they had, he wouldn't have just targeted Hina.

The Five Elders likely picked up on some clues and were afraid of losing control, so they deliberately set a trap.

After all, he is different from other Admirals and poses a significant threat to the World Government.

If he decides to cause trouble, he could be just as dangerous as the Revolutionary Army and the Four Emperors.

But they never expected that Ino could actually search the brains of the dead.

"Hey, it looks like I need to find a time to secretly relocate the family members of the SWORD department."

If the Five Elders want to be suspicious, so be it. Anyway, he doesn't plan to stay in the Marines forever; he will resign once the West Blue matter is completely resolved and unified.

As long as the Five Elders don't have evidence of his crimes, it doesn't matter for now.

Being an Admiral doesn't mean he can just move freely whenever he wants.

Before he steps down, he needs to consider what else he can gain from the World Government

When he takes people out of the Marines, it will look like he's falling out with the World Government, making it harder to benefit from them.

"Hehehe, Five Elders, just wait for me to take advantage of you," Lynch thought, already planning his next move.

After half a month at sea, Lynch, Zephyr, and the others returned to the Marine Base.

The familiar earthy scent filled his nostrils as Lynch took a deep breath.

Stepping onto solid ground, he felt a weight beneath his feet

He definitely preferred being on land to being in a rickety boat.

"Admiral Sun Candle, you're back!"

At this time, a Marine walked over and saluted Lynch.

"There's a girl who has been waiting for you in the reception room for three days. Would you like to meet her?"

"A girl? Did she mention her name?" Lynch thought about which girls he might know.

"She didn't say," the Marine replied.

"Alright, please lead the way."

"It's an honor to guide you!" The Marine was excited to be with the legendary Admiral Sun Candle as they headed to the reception room.

Lynch looked at the girl sitting in the chair and almost didn't recognize her. It's said that women can undergo transformations, but this change was too big.

Her skin had shifted from slightly dark to very fair, and her short hair had grown into long, flowing locks.

To avoid interfering with her actions, her long hair was styled in a traditional "married woman" braid, hanging down in front of her.

It looked good, but the hairstyle seemed a bit risky. Her figure had changed, too; she had gone from being flat to having noticeable curves.

Lynch could still recognize her by the "Wado" sword hanging at her waist.

"Brother Lynch, I came to find you," Kuina said, approaching him gracefully with a bright smile.

"I can't believe how much you've grown since I last saw you," Lynch teased, holding his hand up to gauge her height.

"I still remember when you were so little, always calling me big brother."

"That was all in the past," Kuina said with a subtle smile. "You told my father that I could come to see you in the future. Now that I'm here, you can't leave me alone."

What Kuina didn't say was that Lynch was the only person who truly believed she could become a great female swordsman.

"Of course, you can stay with me from now on. Thanks to your father for teaching me swordsmanship, I'll make sure to train you well."

Lynch planned to give Kuina a Marine identity first; otherwise, it would be inconvenient for her to stay at the Marine Base.

He had to admit that the Marine was indeed a great place to gain experience. Kuina was already fifteen and would turn sixteen in a few months.

Luffy could start a pirate's journey with a barrel at seventeen, and all the things needed to be gathered, especially for a girl as mature as Kuina.

Watching Lynch walk away, Kuina smiled and hurried to catch up.

"Wait a minute, Zoro! With Brother Lynch's training, I'll definitely beat you so badly that your father won't recognize you next time we meet!"

Unlike in the original story, Zoro had never surpassed Kuina since childhood.

Every time he challenged her, he was always beaten badly.

On their way, they ran into Smoker.

"Huh? Tashigi, I haven't seen you in half a month. Why did you change your hairstyle and your sword?"

Smoker stopped, cigar in mouth, looking confused at Kuina behind Lynch.

Hearing this, Kuina crossed her arms, ignored Smoker, and hid behind Lynch.

Why is this strange uncle still using such old-fashioned pick-up lines? What year is it?

Lynch watched the scene with amusement and realized his mistake.

Kuina and Tashigi do look alike, which is probably why Smoker made that mistake. They could easily be mistaken for twins.

Smoker hadn't seen the little girl Tashigi in a long time.

And Lynch was curious about what would happen when these two met—it was an interesting thought.

"Tasi…"

Just as Smoker was about to speak, wondering why Tashigi was acting so differently today, a soft voice called out from a distance.

"Sir, long time no see! I heard you forgot something, so I brought it for you," Tashigi said, holding a sword and some documents while catching her breath.

Smoker looked puzzled. "If you're Tashigi, then who is this?"

Smoker's eyes flickered back and forth between Tashigi and Kuina, becoming more and more confused.

When Tashigi's father asked him to look after her, he never mentioned she had a twin sister. It made sense that Smoker was confused; the two looked so alike that even sisters wouldn't resemble each other this much.

"Who are you..."

"Who are you..."

Kuina and Tashigi exchanged glances, both wide-eyed and dumbfounded.

"Is she my father's illegitimate daughter?"

"Father never mentioned I had a sister!"

Both of them thought the same thing.

"You're not some kind of Devil Fruit ability, are you?"

Kuina suddenly reached out and playfully rubbed Tashigi's cheek with her cat-like hands, applying a bit of pressure.

"Oh~ you're hurting me," Tashigi pouted, speaking through a smile.

"It's a real person!" Kuina exclaimed in surprise.

Should she go back and ask her father about this?

"Hahaha, let me explain." Lynch had seen enough of the excitement and stood up to explain.

"You two just look alike."

"There are such coincidences in the world." Smoker realized it only after he finished burning the cigar.

"It really does seem that way," Kuina and Tashigi said, still in shock.

When they looked at each other, it felt like they were staring into a mirror—like seeing another version of themselves.
