Little Garden.

"Ace! Can't you reconsider this?"

"What amazing vegetation, hahaha."

Nami glanced at Ace, who had just stepped off the boat and was marveling at the surrounding plant life, and weakly shed a tear.

"It's over. He's too excited."

"Well, let me go check things out too."

To Nami's surprise, Vivi leaped off the Merry, riding Karu.

"Ace, mind if I join you?"

Vivi smiled sweetly at Ace.

"Of course not. On my ship, everyone is free to do as they like."

Ace smiled warmly in response.

Without wasting time, Ace and Vivi disappeared into the thick jungle.

"As expected of a princess who had the courage to infiltrate a criminal syndicate," Nami muttered as she watched them go.

"Whoosh!"

Nojiko jumped off the Merry, holding a gun in her hand.

"I'm heading out to gather food. We're running low on supplies."

She smiled at Nami.

"Hey?! Nojiko, you too?! No, don't leave me here alone!"

Nami cried, reaching out in a futile attempt to stop her.

Clank!

"Hm?"

Nojiko turned in surprise towards Tashigi.

"I-I'll help too. If I'm out hunting, I won't feel like I'm doing anything wrong."

Blushing and stammering, Tashigi looked back at Nojiko, her face tense.

"Alright, let's go then," Nojiko smiled with a slightly teasing expression.

As expected, none of the people Ace takes a liking to can resist.

"Hey! Nojiko, Tashigi! Don't leave me!" Nami knelt on the Merry, watching helplessly as they left.

Kaya, with a medical book in hand, approached Nami.

"Kaya! You're not going too, are you? Please, don't leave me!"

Nami looked at her in horror.

Even though her strength had greatly improved thanks to Ace's guidance, her timid nature still hadn't fully changed.

"Don't worry, Nami," Kaya said softly with a gentle smile.

"Even though I'm curious about this island, I'll stay with you. You're not alone."

Her smile, illuminated by the sunlight, was radiant.

"!!!"

Nami stared at her, mesmerized.

"An angel! You're an angel, Kaya!"

Nami leaped into her arms, hugging her tightly.

"There, there." Kaya chuckled, patting Nami's head.

Suddenly, a large shadow loomed over them both.

"Huh?"

Curious, they looked up, only to see a giant figure over twenty meters tall.

Nami's eyes rolled back, and she fainted on the spot.

"Nami! Nami!"

Kaya frantically checked on her, using her healing powers.

"Huh? Nami, you're not actually unconscious at all," Kaya remarked in confusion as she noticed Nami's pale, trembling form.

"Pretend you're dead, Kaya, quick!" Nami whispered, trying not to cry.

"Kabababa! It's been a long time since I've seen humans! How about you two join me for a visit?"

Brogy, the giant, laughed heartily.

Meanwhile, Ace and Vivi ventured deeper into the island.

"Squawk! Thud!"

Karu, exhausted, collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.

"Hahaha! Did you really think you could outrun me?" Ace laughed, looking at Karu.

"Karu!"

Vivi was on the verge of tears, staring at Karu, now lying defeated.

How could this man tire out Karu, the fastest in the Alabasta army?

Suddenly, a roar echoed through the jungle, shaking the ground. Vivi froze, her forehead glistening with sweat.

"A-a dinosaur?!"

Standing before her was a gigantic creature over 35 meters tall, roaring loudly.

"This… this is a prehistoric island!" Vivi murmured. "The climate, environment, and animals here are ancient! The Grand Line's magnetic field makes this possible."

"A living dinosaur," Ace said, staring up at the massive creature in awe.

There's something special about earth folks and their fascination with dinosaurs.

Ace's body turned into a blur, disappearing in a flash.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

A series of sonic booms followed, and in the blink of an eye, Ace was standing atop the dinosaur's head, grinning.

"Hahaha!"

He slid down its long neck like a slide, laughing joyously.

"Ace!" Vivi's eyes widened in shock. "That's a dinosaur, not a toy!"

But the creature had noticed Ace, letting out a series of roars as seven or eight more dinosaurs emerged from the jungle. Leading the pack was a massive one, over forty meters tall, bearing long, sharp fangs.

With a powerful roar, the leader lunged at Ace.

"So rude to a guest," Ace smirked.

But before he could make a move, under Vivi's horrified gaze and Ace's indifferent smile, the head of the Barosaurus was cut off directly, leaving the others to flee in terror.

Emerging from the jungle was a giant, over twenty meters tall.

Vivi collapsed to the ground in shock.

"A-a giant? The legendary giant race?" she stammered.

"Gyagagaga! I couldn't let them eat my guests. It's been a while since I've seen a human!" The giant laughed heartily.

"That was brave of you, young man. Care to come to my place as a guest? Gyagagaga!"

The giant laughed even louder.

"Do you have food?" Ace responded with a grin.

Ace looked at Dorry, who stood over twenty meters tall, and smirked.

"The 'Blue Ogre' Dorry of Elbaf, former captain of the Giant Soldier Pirates, with a bounty of 100 million beli, huh?"

He thought to himself, admiring the giant's sheer physical strength. Ace's Observation Haki scanned Dorry, and he sighed internally.

"The races in this world really are fascinating."

"Gyagagaga! Such an interesting young man," Dorry chuckled, amused. "Of course, I'm the one in charge of food."

After a brief pause, he burst into laughter, tears forming at the corners of his eyes.

"Then we'll trouble you. Hahaha!"

"Gyagagaga!"

Watching Ace and Dorry laugh together, Vivi felt a bit faint. "That's Ace for you—he's even befriended giants."

"Vivi, let's go have some dinosaur meat," Ace suggested, pointing at her and signaling Dorry to carry her along.

"Wha?!"

Before she could respond, Vivi found herself hoisted onto Dorry's shoulder, and they started heading back to his home.

——

Meanwhile, in a hidden part of Little Garden, a candle hut stood.

Click!

The candle door creaked open as a woman with an afro and a wide grin walked in.

"Mr. 3, BOSS sent you here? Do we really need you to deal with some rookie? I thought just the two of us would be enough."

This was Mr. 5, the explosive fruit user.

"How inelegant," Mr. 3, the Wax-Wax Fruit user, sipped his tea with a sly smile. "To deal with an enemy, we use our wits, not brute force. Besides..."

He pulled out two wanted posters.

"On this island are also the 'Blue Ogre' Dorry and 'Red Ogre' Brogy, both former captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates. Each of them has a bounty of 100 million beli."

Greed flashed in Mr. 3's eyes.

"Aren't those wanted posters from over a hundred years ago?" Mr. 5 looked surprised.

"Hehehehe~ I, Mr. 3, will take down that brat with an 85 million bounty, along with Giant Dorry and Brogy, both worth 100 million. Hahaha!"

He laughed maniacally, ignoring the disgruntled expressions of Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, the Light-Light Fruit user. Meanwhile, Miss Golden Week calmly sipped her tea, unbothered by the tension.

——

Back at Dorry's home, Ace had devoured almost an entire dinosaur.

"Ace... are you even human?" Vivi was stunned, watching him swell up like a balloon, only to return to normal moments later.

"Gyagagaga! I didn't expect you to out-eat me, young man!" Dorry laughed heartily.

"Tasty," Ace said with a grin, having absorbed all the nutrients from the dinosaur meat. "It's almost as nutritious as Sea King meat. We should stock up on some before we leave."

Vivi, still in awe of Ace's appetite, asked Dorry hesitantly, "Uncle, does it really take a whole year to record the island's magnetic field?"

"Where do you think all these bones came from?" Dorry responded with a serious tone. "This island is filled with ancient diseases and creatures. Most who tried to stay didn't survive long enough to finish the log."

"Wait, earlier you said you've been fighting someone else here?" Vivi asked, her curiosity piqued.

"Yes, for over a hundred years now," Dorry replied, reminiscing. Although giants live three times longer than humans, a century was still a long time.

"But... why? Why keep fighting for over a hundred years?" Vivi asked, confused.

"Why, indeed..." Dorry smiled softly.

——

Suddenly, the ground shook as the volcano erupted.

Dorry's expression grew serious.

"I have to go."

He grabbed his sword and shield, sprinting toward the island's center.

Simultaneously, Brogy, who was entertaining Nami and Kaya, noticed the eruption and excused himself as well.

He picked up his axe and shield, charging toward the center of the island.

"HAAAA!!!"

Boom!

The next moment, the two giants clashed, their weapons striking each other with a resounding crash.

"We've long forgotten the reason for fighting!" they both laughed heartily as they fought.

Ace watched them for a moment before turning to Vivi. "Let's go."

"Huh? Where?" Vivi asked, surprised.

"It's time to greet our guests," Ace said with a small smile.

——

In the jungle...

"What a conceited guy, that Mr. 3. He makes me mad just thinking about him," Miss Valentine muttered as she kicked a stone.

"Hmph, once we take down that Ace kid, the BOSS will realize we're the strongest," Mr. 5 replied calmly.

"Kyahaha, watch me crush him!" Miss Valentine laughed, but her laughter was cut short by the sound of a gunshot.

Bang!

Miss Valentine collapsed, clutching her chest, disbelief in her eyes.

"Who?!" Mr. 5 roared, but before he could react, another shot rang out.

Bang!

"That's... a fast attack," Mr. 5 muttered, staring at the wound near his heart. He couldn't even tell where the bullets had come from.

"You bastard! Don't underestimate me! I'm an explosive man! Bullets are useless against me!" he shouted, trying to intimidate his unseen foe. Enraged, he hurled explosive balls in all directions.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The explosions rocked the jungle, but the expected cries of pain never came.

——

In a dense part of the forest, Nojiko calmly evaded the blasts.

"So, bullets won't work against Devil Fruit users, huh?" she mused, loading a special bullet into her gun. Her hand was coated in Armament Haki, turning the bullet black.

She closed her eyes, recalling the training Ace had given her just days ago.

"Observation Haki allows you to predict your enemy's movements, while Armament Haki increases the power of your bullets and lets you hit Devil Fruit users. It's the perfect power for you, Nojiko."

Ace's gentle smile flashed through her mind, and with determination in her eyes, she aimed.

Bang!

A single shot rang out.

Pfft!

Mr. 5 stared in shock at the bullet wound near his heart, blood pouring out. "Why... why?"

Bang!

He collapsed, looking up at Nojiko, who stood tall, holding a smoking gun, the Entei Pirates' flag tattooed on her arm.

"No... it can't end like this. I haven't even faced Portgas D. Ace yet... Killed by one of his crewmembers?!"

His vision blurred, and everything went dark.

"Phew! Tashigi, take them to Ace," Nojiko called out.

——

Tashigi emerged from the underbrush, dragging two dinosaur corpses behind her.

"You're... so strong," Tashigi murmured, admiring Nojiko. When they'd first met, Nojiko wasn't nearly this powerful. But now, she had surpassed her.

"It's a power you can gain too, Tashigi," Nojiko smiled, knowing exactly what she was thinking.

Tashigi understood. If she fully joined the Entei Pirates, Ace would help her grow stronger. But for now, she remained conflicted. She quietly tied up the defeated Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine, leaving their fates in Ace's hands.

——

At the same time, a figure appeared in front of Mr. 3 and Miss Golden Week, who were preparing to strike at Dorry and Brogy.
