Chapter 125 - Little Bastard
An imperceptible wave of energy emanated from Jiang Hao, invisible to the naked eye.
In an instant, ten mosquitoes materialized on Jiang Hao's exam paper!
Jiang Hao gazed at the ten mosquitoes, his face a picture of astonishment. He felt an inexplicable kinship with them!
A bizarre notion sprang to his mind.
“Could it be that I can command these ten mosquitoes?”
As if on cue, he sensed the fool behind him kicking his stool once more!
With a mere thought, Jiang Hao issued a silent command to the mosquitoes.
Suddenly, as if heeding his call, the ten mosquitoes took flight from his desk and buzzed towards the back row!
There, Xu Tianloong was busy kicking Jiang Hao's bench.
Jiang Hao remained still. Xu mistook his inaction for fear and his smugness swelled.
But then, Xu felt a sharp sting on his cheek, as if pricked by a needle!
His hands, arms, thighs… each was assaulted by similar stings!
Upon inspecting the source of the pain on his hand, he was shocked to find a mosquito diligently at work, its rear end poised in the air!
“Smack!”
With no second thought, Xu swung at it, intent on squashing the pest.
“Take that, you little pest! I'll squash you flat!” Xu boasted with overconfidence.
However, when he lifted his hand, there was no sign of the mosquito.
As he frantically searched for the elusive insect, the other students in the classroom, previously engrossed in their exams, now shot Xu disapproving glares.
This was the college entrance exam, a pivotal moment in their lives, and he was disrupting it!
Meanwhile, at the sound of the commotion, Jiang Hao couldn't help but snicker to himself.
“Thought you could get the best of me, huh?”
The invigilator's frown deepened as they approached the disturbance, clearly displeased.
“What seems to be the problem here?”
Startled by the invigilator's voice, Xu looked up and quickly concocted an excuse.
“My apologies, teacher,” he stammered.
“A brazen mosquito dared to challenge me, and I… I just slapped it dead!”
Mimicking Jiang Hao's tone, he began to speak.
The invigilator frowned upon hearing this, sensing that something was amiss, yet refrained from a stern rebuke.
“Be mindful not to disrupt others while they're working on their questions!”
After cautioning Xu Tianloong, the invigilator glanced at their watch and, while walking away, issued a reminder.
“Time's ticking, everyone. There's only thirty minutes left before class is over!”
Realizing the time constraint, the examinees ignored Xu Tianloong and diligently focused on their answers.
Meanwhile, Jiang Hao was busy directing ten mosquitoes to ascend Xu Tianloong's face one by one.
Xu Tianloong soon felt a series of sharp, needle-like stings on his face.
He frantically rubbed his face in response.
But each time he did, another area would soon deliver a slight, stinging sensation.
The torment was driving Xu Tianloong mad.
His own scratching left a network of red welts across his face.
Just then, a mosquito buzzed before his eyes.
In a flash of anger, Xu Tianloong identified the source of his misery.
Without a moment's hesitation, he clapped his hands together with force.
“Snap!”
The sound echoed sharply through the quiet classroom.
In that moment, the other examinees shot Xu Tianloong looks of pure irritation.
The invigilator's face, too, was etched with anger.
