75 – Celebrations
She nodded. “I would love to,” she said.
“How often would you like to schedule for?” He asked.
She seemed unsure. “What would you recommend?” She asked.
“Well I’ll work around your schedule as much as I can. In general more frequent sessions would be best. I would recommend at least three sessions per week. Of course you don’t have to schedule an appointment with me every time. I just mean you would want to work out at least three times a week. If you feel comfortable trying to do some of the things we’ve gone over today on your own you could just schedule one appointment a week with me to track your progress and have me make sure you remain on the right track,” he said.
She shook her head. “No I would much rather have you there. Maybe further down the line I’ll be more comfortable doing it myself. Money isn’t a concern either,” she said.
He smiled. “That’s understandable. Since you’ll be my first customer you’re in luck, my schedule is wide open. So how often would you like to do it?” He asked.
“Why don’t we start with three per week like you mentioned. My husband works late on weekdays so those should be fine,” she said.
“So Monday, Wednesday, and Friday?” He asked.
He could barely conceal his excitement. Not only would that mean more money in his pockets, but also far more opportunities to get close to a hot married MILF. He really hoped her husband had an appealing ability for him to steal along with his wife.
She nodded. “Around six or seven should work for me,” she said.
“Great, I’ll add you to my schedule,” he said.
They finished their drinks with some casual conversation before she had to leave.
After accepting his first client instead of celebrating he invested the abundant excited energy in a workout of his own before taking a nice hot shower to relax.

On his way out of the changing rooms he ran into Vanessa.
She had her hear tied back and a slight sheen of sweat on her skin. She must have done a little working out herself.
She smiled excitedly. “I saw you out there helping that lady. Did you already get your first client?” She asked.
He nodded.
She gave him a big hug. “Aww… Congratulations!” She said.
He smiled and hugged her back. “Thanks,” he said.
After letting him go she playfully punched him on the arm. “I’m so jealous though,” she said jokingly.
“I’m sure you’ll have your first client soon enough. I just got lucky,” he said.
She rolled her eyes. “We both know you’ve been the fastest learner out of all of us. Thanks though. I appreciate it,” she said.
He decided not to say anything about the awkward vibe she’d been putting on with him recently since things seemed to be improving again.
He smiled. “You’ll have to buy me a celebratory drink. When you get your first client I’ll get you one,” he said.
She blushed lightly, but after a moment of hesitation nodded in agreement. “Sure. You better uphold your end too,” she said.
“Great. Just text me a time that works for you. I gotta get going,” he said.
=That Evening, Home=
Jackie was already waiting for him. There was a nice roast simmering away on the stove, filling the kitchen with its aroma.
Dave sniffed the air. “Mmm… that smells amazing,” he said.
She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Since you managed to get your first customer I thought a little celebration was in order. So I decided to make your favorite,” she said.
He smiled back. He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned closer. She raised her face towards him. He finally kissed her lips softly. “Thanks,” he said.
He looked around curiously. “What about the old man?” He asked.
She shrugged. “He still hasn’t come home from his workout. I’ve never seen him working so hard for a match,” she said.
He smirked. ‘Good. He must not be seeing the returns he has been expecting,’ he thought.
He hugged her tighter. “Well that just means more time for us,” he whispered huskily.
She nodded shyly. “That sounds nice,” she said.
She finally pushed him away reuctantly. “Ok you go make the table and I’ll finish making dinner,” she said.
When she was serving his plate she wasn’t even surprised anymore when he kept signaling for more.
Although the abilities seemed magical it wasn’t possible to create his rapidly growing muscles out of thin air. His body needed the nutrition to support such growth in such a short timeframe. He was easily eating around five thousand calories a day.
Saying his hunger would have been a whole task in its own if it weren’t for Jackie’s efforts preparing him sizable breakfasts, lunches and dinners and Kate bringing him a second lunch prepared herself too.
He hoped when his physique topped out it would at least reduce to a more manageable degree. If his father was any indication it should settle a little lower, but he no longer just had his father’s ability. Who was to say what the consumption of other abilities would be like.
Now that he was starting to make money it was at least less of a concern even if his father’s income would soon be cratering due to being unable to continue his career. Although he would still get some money from residuals due to his prior fights and merchandise that was only a fraction of his earnings and would also drop further if he was unable to regain his position as champion.
Dave was the only one fully aware that he would never be able to recover to his peak or anything even approaching that. His fathers ability was like having a constant supply of the best cocktail of performance enhancing drugs without any side effects. Without it he was just an average guy with a lot of fighting experience.
They enjoyed each others company with a warm dinner as a couple. His father didn’t show up until the end of the evening again. He mostly ignored them barely even acknowledging their presence as he went through the motions. He had bags under his eyes and looked like he was exhausted.
