Naruto: There is a big problem with my 'Love Life Choice' System!

Chapter 15: Chapter 14

**At the clearing in the woods of the Hidden Grass Village!**

Beside a well-lit bonfire, a young woman with short gray-brown hair appeared very focused, her hands shining with a bright green light as they hovered above the body of another—a red-haired woman.

The short-haired girl did not lose focus as she was doing her best to treat Uzumaki Karin's mother.

It wasn't until she was exhausted and a layer of dense, cold sweat broke out on her forehead that she stopped healing the woman and slowly retracted her hands.

"Asami, how are you?" Arata looked at the short-haired girl and asked in a low voice. There was a hint of concern in his voice as he saw the sweat dripping down her nape.

The girl named Asami did not reply to his question but instead shook her head regretfully at him. "I am sorry, I couldn't help much."

"You've tried your best." Arata patted her shoulder.

"If only I had asked someone to leave a signal for you earlier..." Asami lowered her head, feeling guilty.

She and Arata were childhood friends, and they grew up in Konoha Orphanage.

Unlike Arata, who was mediocre, this child had shown great talent in medical ninjutsu.

The dean of the orphanage personally taught her medical ninjutsu for two years until she was adopted by a wealthy businessman when she was eight years old. After that, she moved away from Konoha.

This wealthy businessman later bought an entire street in the Country of Grass and chose to settle here, and Asami naturally became a member of the Country of Grass.

Although they were far apart, their relationship had not weakened over the years.

Asami's father was in the food business, and his business scope spanned half of the ninja world.

Asami herself often traveled around with her foster father while learning from him and occasionally returned to Konoha to reunite with Arata.

Arata also informed Asami about the situation of the beautiful girls. She was kind-hearted and had always secretly helped the young girls. She took them under her care and helped them secretly.

After all, Asami and her followers were just businessmen, and they had no way of influencing the situation in the Hidden Grass Village. Even though they had money to hire ninjas, the leaders of the village were not something they could deal with.

When the war came, Karin's mother was assigned as a blood bag by the senior officials of the Grass Village, just like in the original work. She was passed around the camp until the elites of the camp were fully healed.

Asami felt a bad premonition, so she asked her caravan to leave a signal that only she and Arata would use when they met during her visits to the Hidden Leaf Village.

Her original intention was to let Arata think of a solution for this poor mother and daughter, but she never expected that her young friend would actually choose to personally break into the Grass Ninja Village and save the two of them right under the noses of the powerful ninjas!

Even though Arata managed to save the two of them, it was too late after all. The woman was already on the edge of losing her life from the overexertion of her life force.

"It's useless to send a signal early. It can only be said that there was nothing we could have done without knowledge and power." Arata glanced at Uzumaki Karin, whose eyes were blank, and sighed.

If she had sent the signal early, he would not have been strong enough to help, and his arrival would have been in vain.

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Kushina." Arata walked to Uzumaki Karin's mother, squatted down, and muttered in his heart while looking at the withered red-haired woman in front of him. He apologized, "I originally wanted to give you a surprise."

He wanted to help her reunite with her clan members, thinking she would be happy, but who would have thought…

"It's not your fault, boy." Kushina's voice was extremely gentle at this moment, like trickling water. "I have received the surprise you gave me."

Only then did she finally understand why Arata asked the Third Hokage for permission to leave the village as a reward. His only reward was not for himself, but for her, to make her happy.

Faced with this sincerity, Kushina would be lying if she said she wasn't moved.

If she was still a young girl and not married as Minato's wife, she would probably not just be moved at this time but would have directly fallen in love with the boy, right?

"Kushina-san… I hate this world." Arata's desire to change all this became even stronger. Looking at the miserable mother in front of him, a fire started to burn wildly in his heart.

"What do you want to do?" Kushina could feel the heat in his chest, and she even had an illusion that if this fire touched the ninja world, it would set the whole world on fire!

"I want to reform this world!" Arata looked solemn and spoke firmly.

Turning this bloody and dirty world into his ideal paradise was not just for the mother who was dying in front of him, but also for those who were living in this world and suffering!

Letting out a deep breath, Arata was about to stand up, but the expression on his face suddenly froze at this moment.

"Change the world?" Kushina didn't notice anything strange about him and was still wondering about the meaning of the word "reform." After thinking for a long time and still having no idea, she gave up the struggle and asked, "Tell me, what does transformation mean?"

There was no response. Kushina frowned. "Hey, boy?"

"Old woman, don't make any noise. I'm thinking."

A familiar option interface appeared in front of Arata, with a golden halo shining brightly.

[Choose.]

[1. Use the Holy Water of Life in your mouth to replenish the life force in Karin's mother's body and save her.]

[2. Use the Edo Tensei No Jutsu on Karin's mother and let her accompany your Mrs. Kushina.]

[3. Why not enjoy the body while it's hot?]

While, while it's hot?!

This freaking system is as disgusting and perverted as ever!
