As Aizen's words fell, thick white smoke gradually dissipated from the scene. Behind him, a massive figure stood tall before the crowd.
In the midst of the chaotic, ruined field, under the cover of night, a gigantic brown bear sat squatting on the ground with a dumbfounded expression. Its large paws pressed into the earth, and its head swayed slightly as if surveying its surroundings. The patch of white fur on its chest made it stand out in a unique way.
When the bear saw Aizen standing before it, its bright beastly eyes immediately gleamed with excitement.
"Roar!!"
Suddenly, it opened its menacing mouth and let out a roar filled with intense excitement. The deep and powerful roar echoed across the land, so loud that even from a great distance, its call could be heard. The Konoha ninjas nearby covered their ears, their brows furrowed deeply.
Through their squinting eyes, they saw the gigantic bear slowly lower its head and approach Aizen, who was calmly standing in front of it. Despite its terrifying appearance, the bear's face showed an expression of innocence, like an excited puppy meeting its master.
Aizen had a faint smile on his lips as he extended his hand, gently pressing it against the bear's dark nose, and softly said, "Kumamoto, don't get too excited. Your opponent is this guy in front of you."
Hearing Aizen's words, Kumamoto lifted its head slightly and began to assess the current situation on the field. In front of them stood Shukaku, furious, alongside Jiraiya, Sakumo, and their group, forming three opposing factions like a standoff.
When Kumamoto noticed Shukaku's equally gigantic form, a fiery light flashed in its beastly eyes.
'Is this the guy Aizen-sama mentioned? Even though Mom told me not to fight carelessly… if it's Aizen-sama's order, I'm sure she would agree.' With that thought, Kumamoto's long mouth stretched into an excited smile. However, to others, the massive bear appeared to be grinning wickedly.
"People of Konoha, let's leave the area and give them space," Aizen said with a soft smile, glancing at the Konoha shinobi before slowly turning around and walking away.
Upon hearing his words, the Konoha ninjas exchanged looks, heavy expressions appearing on their faces, and followed him. The members of Las Noches, however, remained where they were, unmoved.
Just as Aizen was about to leave, he suddenly turned to look at Ulquiorra, who was standing quietly with a calm expression. With a light chuckle, he said, "Oh, by the way, Ulquiorra, you can begin now. We've fulfilled the request of the Iwa-nin. It's time to close the net."
Although Aizen's tone was casual, everyone present was no fool—they instantly felt the cold killing intent beneath his words.
Realizing this, Jiraiya and the others grew even more tense.
Ulquiorra respectfully nodded and replied softly, "Rest assured, Aizen-sama, we will carry out your orders."
Aizen smiled faintly and continued to walk away. Although Jiraiya, Orochimaru, and the others were still wary of the Las Noches group, they couldn't afford to leave anyone behind to stop them, so they focused all their attention on Aizen, following him as he left.
After they had gone, Barragan, standing in the crowd, couldn't help but grumble in a deep voice, "The boss sure is troublesome. These guys could easily be killed in an instant. Why make things so complicated?"
Hearing this, Ulquiorra shook his head lightly, glancing at Barragan before speaking calmly, "It's all part of Aizen-sama's plan, Barragan. Not everything is as simple as it seems. Even Aizen-sama has things he is cautious of."
Barragan's murky eyes flashed with insight as he muttered, "Is that so…? Just as I thought, there must be someone watching over such a vast world. Heh, I'm looking forward to it."
After saying that, he glanced at Shukaku, his eyes gleaming with heat, and rasped, "And what about this guy?"
Ulquiorra glanced at the excited Kumamoto and replied softly, "Since Aizen-sama entrusted him with this, he must have his reasons. We just need to perfectly execute his orders."
Hearing this, Barragan nodded and left with the Las Noches group, following Ulquiorra.
Under the night sky, in the now-burning village of Konoha, the two gigantic creatures faced each other, their beastly eyes gleaming with an eerie light.
At this moment, the parts of Shukaku's body that had been corroded by the boiling amber were slowly regenerating. After all, this form was merely made up of vast amounts of sand and not his true body.
"Heh, so you're that guy's summoned beast? You're just an ordinary wild animal. Do you think just because you're big, you can handle me? You better scram before I get serious and kill you!" Shukaku sniffed the air slightly, his beastly eyes flashing with cold light as he disdainfully taunted the excited Kumamoto.
Hearing Shukaku's words, Kumamoto's previously excited expression immediately collapsed. The grin on its face disappeared, replaced by a fierce snarl. Even though Kumamoto wasn't the brightest, it understood that this guy was looking down on it and seemed to harbor strong hostility toward Aizen.
'Mom had said that since it followed Aizen-sama, if it ever had to fight for him, it must give its all!' With that thought, a vicious light flashed in Kumamoto's eyes. It glared intensely at Shukaku, baring its sharp teeth and letting out an angry roar.
"Roar!!"
Upon hearing Kumamoto's roar, Shukaku's face turned sour as he rasped, "Damn it, I gave you a way out, and you dare provoke me? Even if a hundred more like you showed up, it wouldn't be enough to take me down!"
"Die!"
As his words fell, Shukaku lunged forward. At the same time, his thick tail behind him swung violently toward Kumamoto.
"Whoosh—"
The tail, nearly as large as Shukaku himself, sliced through the air with a deafening roar, creating a powerful gust of wind as it approached!
Facing the oncoming tail's immense force, Kumamoto's bear-like face showed no fear but rather a savage fierceness. It pressed its paws hard into the ground, and with a sudden push, its entire body shot upward, standing upright like a human and charging straight toward the tail!
