"I heard from Tsunade that you've been investigating this matter."

"Yes."

Kazuki admitted.

"Because this concerns the reputation of the Uchiha clan and whether or not we can resolve the misunderstandings with the village, I've been looking through many records and family documents. This mysterious person possesses the Sharingan, which means he must be an Uchiha. I've investigated those who betrayed the Uchiha and the village over the years, but I couldn't find a match. Furthermore, the person claims to be Uchiha Madara. Many people suspect that this person is the same Madara who once betrayed the village and sought its destruction, but I don't believe so."

'Do you really have a clue?' Jiraiya hadn't expected to gain any unexpected surprises from Kazuki. 'Go ahead, I'm all ears.'

All thoughts of the Shimura clan had been pushed to the back of Jiraiya's mind. All he could think about was the mysterious man from the night of the Nine-Tails attack.

"Don't you think it's suspicious?"

Kazuki leaned forward slightly, and Jiraiya instinctively followed suit. "What's suspicious?"

"The person's identity."

Kazuki raised his hand to explain,

"First, Uchiha Madara was a powerful shinobi whom only the First Hokage could stand against. If Madara really invaded Konoha, I'm certain no one in Konoha could stop him. According to the family records, Uchiha Madara did not possess space-time ninjutsu. Otherwise, after years of fighting the Senju clan, there would surely be some records of it. I admit the Fourth Hokage was strong, but how does he compare to the Second Hokage? Did the Second ever claim he could stand up to Uchiha Madara?"

Everyone agrees that Minato was strong, but his strength depends on whom he's being compared to. Minato may have been strong, but at best, he was the second coming of Tobirama Senju. Could Tobirama have dared to challenge Uchiha Madara?"

Sorry, not even close.

If you compare Minato to Tobirama, you'll realize that the idea of Minato single-handedly stopping Uchiha Madara is just laughable. If Madara truly wanted to destroy Konoha, Konoha wouldn't have been able to stop him."

"The mysterious man from the night of the Nine-Tails attack planned things to the last detail, even using the timing of the Fourth Hokage's wife's childbirth. It's clear he needed to borrow the power of the Nine-Tails. At this time, Konoha was weak due to the war, and there was no First Hokage to protect the village."

"Very few people knew Kushina's due date."

Jiraiya fell into deep thought.

"Why would he target the Shimura clan?"

Jiraiya was still sitting in the police department captain's office, racking his brains, while Kakashi, who had returned from the Daimyo's mansion, arrived back at the village.

Upon returning, Kakashi headed straight for the Hokage's office.

"Kakashi, why did you abandon your post and return to Konoha without permission?"

At this time, Kakashi should have remained at the Daimyo's mansion, protecting him. Yet, he returned without saying a word. If the Daimyo found out, he'd definitely be furious.

There were already too many problems, and both the Third Hokage and Tsunade didn't want to have any further conflicts with the Daimyo.

Kakashi bowed and said.

"Lord Hokage, Lady Tsunade, I've asked Shisui to take over the task of protecting the Daimyo. I've returned to Konoha because I have something very important to report. It concerns Asuma, so I had to return personally."

Something important, and it involves Asuma.

Could it be that brat caused more trouble at the Daimyo's mansion?

At the mention of his unruly son, who behaved like a delinquent, the Third Hokage's face darkened. It wasn't long ago that Asuma had provoked the Uchiha and gotten into a fight with them.

The Third Hokage inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief. He had long given up on controlling his youngest son. Wait, something doesn't seem right.

"Yes, it was Asuma's turn to switch shifts, but he didn't show up. So I went to find him and discovered he was missing. There was a strange scent in his room. The other person must have been someone capable of space-time ninjutsu."

Kakashi relayed all his findings and suspicions.

"Missing? Again? Who's doing this?"

The Third Hokage could no longer contain himself. First, the head of the Shimura clan and the elders went missing. Now, his son, far away in the Daimyo's mansion, also vanished.

He had initially suspected Kazuki, but that seemed impossible now.

Setting aside the fact that Kazuki hadn't left the Uchiha clan's territory, how could one person manage to travel back and forth between Konoha and the Daimyo's mansion in a single night?

And now there are more disappearances in the village?

Kakashi was shocked.

Tsunade felt like her head was going to explode. She explained helplessly.

"This morning, members of the Shimura clan reported that their clan head and two elders had mysteriously disappeared. There were no signs of a struggle and very few clues left behind, just like Asuma's case."

"Get Jiraiya! Tell Jiraiya to come see me!!!"

First, his wife died, and now his youngest son has gone missing. The impact was overwhelming for the elderly Third Hokage.

Sensing that the Hokage's mood was off, the Anbu quickly went to notify Jiraiya.

"Lord Jiraiya, the Hokage requests your presence."

Jiraiya, who had been analyzing things with Kazuki at the police department, was stunned for a moment. "Got it, thanks for your hard work."

He gestured to Kazuki that he had to go, and then left decisively.

"Where did he learn that habit?" Watching the window swaying in the wind, Kazuki didn't know what to say.
