Ding! Ding! Ding!

Ken charged forward with his long sword and tried to slash the Chunin, but the Sand Chunin was an experienced ninja.

He manipulated his short sword with a Chakra Thread and blocked all of Ken's attacks.

Despite having Sharingan, Ken was unable to find a blind spot on that Chunin.

He tried to strike his sword from the right, but the Chakra Thread allowed the Chunin to give more momentum to his short sword and block Ken's attack.

This continued for a while. While he was fighting the Chunin, Ken was also observing his friends.

Jenzi was facing a Sand Shinobi who could use Wind Release, while Mito was facing an enemy who was better at Earth Release.

But, he was facing the Sand Shinobi who could use Chakra Thread. Although he hadn't seen a puppet, it was clear that this man could use Puppet.

Ken tried to keep his distance against the Sand Shinobi while using his long sword, but it quickly changed.

The Sand Shinobi sheathed his short sword and suddenly increased the size of his sheath by pulling it, and then a sharp blade appeared on both of its tips.

"It seems like I am not only collecting Sharingan but also killing the Genius of a Uchiha Clan. It's my lucky day today."

Saying so, the Sand Chunin dashed forward with an extreme speed. In an instant, he appeared in front of Ken and slashed down.

Ken quickly blocked it with his sword and tried to utilize his Sharingan to see its next attack.

With its ability to read muscle movements, Ken quickly realized something was wrong with this man.

Bang!

Using his foot to block the spear, Ken pulled back his sword and nimbly backed away.

'This is not a real person. Several Chakra Threads are manipulating this body, which means this guy is indeed a puppet. I need to create some distance.'

Saying so, he quickly used Body Flicker Jutsu. His body flashed to the right side of that Chunin.

Upon reaching there, he quickly moved his fingers and weaved hand signs.

[Fire Style- Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu]

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

As he spat out several fireballs, Ken exactly manipulated their placing and attacked every corner of the puppet.

Suddenly, the puppet jumped in the air and dodged all of the fireballs, but Ken wasn't targeting him.

Instead, his Sharingan was constantly searching for the source of those Chakra Threads.

Zing!

Ken's Sharingan turned darker as he noticed a Chakra Network several dozen meters away behind a tree.

'There you are.'

Ken immediately rushed toward the Sand Shinobi behind the tree. But, as his Sharingan began to check his surroundings.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Just as he predicted, several small needles came out of the fingers of that puppet and rushed toward Ken.

These needles were so small, but unless focused, the naked eye wouldn't be able to recognize them.

But, with his extra perception granted by Sharingan, Ken was able to see all of them and dodge all of them.

While dodging those, he reached closer to the tree, and instead of going behind it, he started weaving hand signs.

[Fire Style- Great Fireball Jutsu]

Once again, a large fireball that was the size of a house came out of his mouth and moved toward the tree.

At this moment, Ken's heard some clicking sounds from behind. Before even his Sharingan could sense any movement, he saw the puppet coming towards him at extraordinary speed.

Boom!

The next moment, that puppet exploded. The firepower inside that puppet was enough to light nearly fifty meters of ground in blazing flame.

"Heh! That guy must be the one holding the scroll. Now, neither he nor the scroll remains. That's good! I can go and support others."

The puppeteer behind the tree began to burn away with the power of the fireball, but it was a simple Earth Clone.

The real puppeteer was hiding nearly a hundred meters away from the battlefield.

As an experienced Chunin, how could he not understand the power of the Sharingan?

He knew that Sharingan would be able to find his spot, so he hid an Earth Clone near the battlefield so the Sharingan user wouldn't search for his real body.

Although he expected the Sharingan user to attack the clone from the side, a small change of using a fireball didn't matter.

Because he had already planned to use his puppet explosion to destroy the Sharingan user.

Whoosh!

Suddenly, a sharp Kunai passed near his cheek, drawing blood from his face.

"Who?"

Just as he turned around, the Sand Chunin saw a child standing nearly ten meters away from him.

This child was none other than Ken. His Sharingan was fully activated and revolving faster than before.

He had small dust and scratches on his body, but nothing severe enough to damage him.

"H-ho-how can you escape? I saw your body burn inside that explosion. You should've been dead. It is impossible."

The puppeteer who had lost his puppet couldn't help but panic. While panicking, he didn't forget to take out a scroll from his pocket.

This was the difference between a normal Chunin and an experienced Chunin.

Even though he was panicking, his body still reacted as normal, and he took out a scroll.

This scroll stored another puppet that he could use, but how could Ken give him the opportunity to use it?

He took out four Kunai, holding two in each hand. He threw all four toward the puppeteer at once.

The puppeteer quickly jumped out of the range of Kunai and dodged the attack, but when these Kunai were tied with several Ninja Wires.

[Manipulate Shuriken Jutsu]

By manipulating the ninja wire, Ken was able to pull Kunai toward the puppeteer.

Ken's excellent control over those wires forces the puppeteer to put away the scroll and tackle the Kunai with his own.

But just when he was busy tackling those Kunai, Ken closed the distance with his Body Flicker and appeared in front of the puppeteer.

[Genjutsu- Sharingan]

As soon as his Sharingan released the Genjutsu, it instantly made the puppeteer stop.

Despite having superb control over his Chakra, the Sand Shinobi wasn't able to come out of this Genjutsu instantly.

This gave him more than enough time to wrap the puppeteer with his Ninja Wires and create a distance.

"Oh, no!"

As soon as he came out of the Genjutsu, Sand Shinobi found himself bound by the ninja wires.

He panicked but still tried to control his Kunai with his Chakra Thread to cut these Ninja Wires.

But before he could do so, he felt a blazing fire coming towards him through the Ninja Wire.

[Fire Style- Dragon Fire Jutsu]

A large flame took the shape of a dragon as it moved towards its target. Its speed was far superior to the Sand Chunin.

"I am Chunin. How can I die at the hands of a Genin? No!"

The Sand Chunin saw his death coming towards him. The blazing fire reached his skin and made him scream in pain.

Boom!

The hot yellow flame turned his body into a burning scarecrow. After a while, it stopped burning and revealed a slightly charred body.

Despite having such a high temperature, this attack wasn't powerful enough to turn this person into ash.

But, it was more than enough. Ken rushed toward the Chunin and checked his vitals.

Since he was dead, he quickly took out an empty scroll and put the dead body inside it.

This could help him in the future.

'Thankfully, puppeteers aren't known for their Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu otherwise, I would've been in deep trouble.'

Ken sighed in his heart as he kept the scroll in his bag. He was able to dodge that attack because he did see the real puppeteer on time and managed to use Genjutsu.

Although this Genjutsu wasn't as powerful as the one he used later, it was enough to create a false illusion until he was able to escape.

He used Substitution Jutsu combined with Sharingan Genjutsu to escape that attack.

Although he couldn't track the muscle movement or Chakra Network of puppets, he was still able to see the coming of that puppet.

After that, the Sand puppeteers once again proved why they were easy to defeat after they lost their puppets.

Even though the scroll was in his hand, the puppeteer needed to put away that scroll just to deflect Ken's Kunai.

His lack of Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu made him an easy target after he lost his puppet.

'But, I can't relax now. Jenzi and Mito are still in deep trouble. I need to help them. But, who should I help first?'

Ken turned around and rushed toward the battlefields of Mito and Jenzi. Both were fighting in two different areas which made him hesitate a bit.

Because he wasn't sure who was in deep trouble until he realized something.

"It's Jenzi."
