Naruto: Becoming a master taijutsu using martial arts.

Chapter 5: Time to plan

I ate slowly and answered some questions from the children about what had happened during my time in the hospital. But as soon as I finished eating, I took advantage of the fact that most of the kids had gone to play in the yard and grabbed my papers, heading to an empty corner of the orphanage.

"Let's see… I think I should first create a timeline of what I know will happen and then figure out how to proceed in the coming years." I murmured quietly, biting the tip of the pencil.

I started writing in English on the paper. No one here would know the language, but just to be safe, I also added some words in other languages I knew, like Portuguese and Spanish. I also made sure to use pseudonyms for people's names—better safe than sorry.

I began the timeline with the Nine-Tails attack, or as I wrote on the paper:

Ninetails escapes the Pokéball and destroys the Pokécenter.

First, because it was an event I knew had happened about a year ago. The next event was my reincarnation, which I wrote down as the weirdest isekai ever.

Since Naruto was probably only one year old, the attempted kidnapping of the Hyuga heir would happen in two years. I didn't know the exact date, and to be honest, there wasn't much I could do in that situation. Frankly, I didn't care enough to get involved, but I added that date because I planned to be close to graduating from the academy by then.

Everybody loves magic eyes.

By my calculations, I think Itachi was around my current age when the Nine-Tails attack happened and he graduated at seven years old. That means he spent just a year in the academy. I didn't know exactly how much of a genius Itachi was, but I'd try my hardest to match him and graduate in two years.

"Well… That's the plan…" I said with a nervous chuckle, thinking about comparing myself to the damn Uchiha clan boss.

For the next point—Tobirama's greatest dream come true—I had to do some mental math.

Tobirama, the biggest crow fan.

"If that guy became a Chuunin at 10 years old and joined the ANBU about six months later…" I frowned, trying to calculate Itachi's age. "But didn't he become an ANBU captain after that? Ahhh! Better calculate based on the emo goth's age."

The emo was Sasuke. I knew he was seven years old during the Uchiha massacre, so that event would be six years in the future. I didn't have any plans for it and I was even hoping to be on a mission far away from Konoha. That was one of the reasons why I wanted to graduate early.

Itachi would be my benchmark for power. In six years, I wanted to be at least as strong as him—or stronger—but I'd accept whatever I could achieve. Unfortunately, I didn't have those damn eyes to rely on, so I'd have to do it the traditional way.

When Naruto became a Genin, I needed to be as strong as Jiraiya. After all, at that point, I'd have to worry about Orochimaru and his attack on the Leaf Village, and I definitely didn't want to die at the hands of some random Jounin from the Sand or Sound.

"Oh, that reminds me!" I quickly jotted down a pseudonym—not for an event, but for a person in the Leaf Village, with an exclamation mark beside it.

Mr. 'They stole my fancy hat and I tilted.

Or Danzo Shimura. I definitely didn't want to get involved in his brainwashing cult. Honestly, I do feel a little sorry for poor Danzo, I swear I do. He spent the entire anime trying to become Hokage, and when he finally did, he didn't even last six months before being killed by poor Sasuke.

Well, karma worked its magic. That didn't mean I'd pretend to be an idiot or anything like that, but I had to be careful. The best way to do that was to win the favor of someone powerful enough that Danzo wouldn't dare make a move.

I believe that's how Minato stayed off his radar. After all, Danzo wouldn't want to mess with one of Jiraiya's students. Unfortunately, there was no way for Jiraiya to take me under his wing, but luckily, someone much more powerful than Danzo was in the village. So, I noted a pseudonym for him:

The smoking monkey.

The Third Hokage, despite his flaws, was still the biggest obstacle for Danzo. Unfortunately, since he was Hokage, he probably wouldn't take any official disciples, but I could become someone important in his eyes.

"But how to do that…" I bit the tip of the pencil again while thinking, then smiled and wrote on the paper:

How to become important to the monkey by becoming the merchandising boy for brainwashing!
