Mha: Sand Sand Fruit

Chapter 57: Chapter 53 Sand Waterfall Funeral

As soon as Akira finished speaking, the wings on his back flapped rapidly.

Every time his wings beat, 32 sharp arrows made of sand shot from one side, aiming straight at Ishimura on the ground.

Ishimura watched as countless sharp arrows flew toward him, yet he remained unfazed.

"This won't harm me," Ishimura said calmly.

He waved his hand, and a transparent liquid wall appeared before him. When the first sharp arrow hit the liquid wall, it passed right through, landing on the ground and exploding with a loud crash.

Ishimura's brow furrowed, and he quickly discarded the liquid wall, sprinting away.

"Boom..."

"Boom..."

The ground trembled with each explosion, and Ishimura's confusion grew.

"What the hell is this?!" he cursed while dodging the sharp arrows flying toward him. Though the attacks seemed simple and the speed wasn't overwhelming, their power exceeded his expectations.

Normally, Ishimura's Quirk was incredibly strong. His body was immune to many attacks. Most Quirks couldn't harm him unless they overpowered him with immense force.

But now, something felt off. Ever since Akira had been able to land a hit on him, Ishimura's instincts warned him to avoid any attack, no matter how weak it appeared.

The rain of sand that seemed harmless at first made his back go cold.

"Tap, tap, tap!"

"Tap, tap, tap!"

Ishimura dashed around, narrowly avoiding the barrage of sand arrows. The once lush grass turned into a field of craters as Akira's assault continued.

"Such power! That bastard can't even fight back!" Bakugo Katsuki muttered in disbelief, watching Akira effortlessly handle Ishimura. He had once thought he was just as strong as Akira, but now he realized the truth—he had been fooling himself. Bakugo Katsuki was the top of his class, but the reality of his situation hit him hard.

He had underestimated Akira's strength.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Midoriya Izuku was busy tracking down their class teacher, Bradkin, when they stumbled upon a student rushing to report something.

"It's bad, teacher!" the student gasped.

Bradkin raised an eyebrow, his expression unchanging. "What's going on? Why the panic?"

The student quickly explained. "I saw two students from our school disappear out of nowhere, and then two kidnapped citizens appeared!"

Midoriya's mind raced. Su Yuan and Bakugo Katsuki? Were they involved?

"What now?" Bradkin asked, turning his attention to the student.

"I didn't know what to do, so I came straight to find you," the student replied.

Bradkin nodded before addressing Midoriya. "Don't worry too much. Your teacher is already on his way. Let's go outside and check it out."

At the school gate, Aizawa Shouta had already arrived. The three freed citizens were now being questioned.

"Teacher Aizawa Shouta!" Midoriya called as he hurried toward him.

"Midoriya Izuku? You're still here?" Aizawa asked, a hint of surprise in his voice.

Midoriya quickly got to the point. "Bakugo Katsuki and Kitagawa Su Yuan were taken!"

"What? Taken?" Aizawa's expression darkened instantly.

"Do you have any useful information, Eraser Head?" Bradkin inquired.

Aizawa took a breath before speaking. "It seems the villains have a Quirk that allows them to swap people. According to the citizens, they were just on a grassland, and then in the blink of an eye, they were here."

"Three citizens were swapped, but two students? Doesn't that imply someone else was swapped?" Bradkin mused.

"A man was also swapped," the student added.

Aizawa and Bradkin exchanged looks of realization. The pieces of the puzzle were falling into place.

"Midoriya, go home. We'll handle the rest," Aizawa said with authority.

Though Midoriya wanted to help, he knew he wasn't equipped to deal with the situation right now. "Okay, sensei," he replied reluctantly.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Akira's relentless assault continued. Explosions shook the ground, sending smoke billowing into the air.

"Boom!"

Finally, Akira landed on the ground, his feet pressing into the dirt. Ishimura, covered in sweat, stood opposite him, panting heavily.

"You're done for now! Hahahaha!" Ishimura sneered.

Akira raised an eyebrow, his voice calm. "No, I came down to try something else. Don't die too quickly, Ishimura."

"Sand Waterfall Funeral!"
