Marvel:Nightbringer

3-Home

3-Home

"Home, sweet home," I whispered as I looked at my old house.

"While you were in the hospital, there haven't been any changes at home. We didn't even open the door of your room. So, don't be surprised if you see bugs in your room," my father said with a smile on his face.

I was currently sitting in a wheelchair, and my father was pushing me. As I said, my body's condition was pretty bad. Fortunately, I had already found a way to fix it.

The training part mentioned in my god of war ability actually encompassed all my movements. Raising my arm, even moving my finger, strengthened me. Of course, to a very small extent, but enough. If this continues, I will probably have the physique of a fit person within three months.

"No problem, even if there are bugs inside, it's better than a hospital room," I said jokingly.

But my joke didn't make my father laugh. Instead, it silenced him.

I shouldn't have said that. Anyway, let's change the subject a bit.

"What happened to Gwen's tooth?" I asked my father.

When Gwen came to the hospital to see me, I noticed the fracture in her front tooth, but I didn't mention it.

Hearing my words, my father chuckled.

"I don't know why her tooth was broken, but at first, she really had difficulty speaking. If you had seen it, you would understand how funny it was," he said.

I chuckled at that and said, "It must have been hilarious."

My father nodded and walked towards my room, opening the door. When the door opened, a bad smell came from inside.

"It definitely needs to be ventilated," I commented.

"To be honest, I thought the window was open when I closed the door," my father said absentmindedly.

"It's not a big deal," I said, and then asked, "Where's Gwen?"

"Gwen is at school. I didn't tell her that you were discharged. She will definitely be surprised when she comes home," my father replied.

"I'm looking forward to seeing that."

When I finished speaking, a voice came from the TV that was on.

"Brooklyn has once again become the center of chaos. A nightbringer emerged, endangering the lives of nearby civilians. Fortunately, Spider-Men were there and managed to drive away the nightbringer."

With curiosity on my face as I looked at the news, my father commented, "They caused the deaths of many people."

"When they say 'driven away,' what do they mean?" I asked my father.

"It's quite difficult to kill the nightbringers. Their bodies must leave no trace behind to die," my father replied.

Or they need a dawnbringer. But there's no dawnbringer other than me.

"The world has already started looking for ways to kill them, but so far, it can't be said that they have been successful," my father added.

"I understand," I whispered and turned off the TV. I will deal with the nightbringers, but not now.

Also, if even two Spider-Men can drive one away, it means they haven't strengthened enough yet. Moreover, in the future, when heroes start appearing in this world, they will be able to easily kill the nightbringers. Unless the nightbringers become abnormally strong.

"What do you want to eat?" My father's question snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned my head to my father and said, "I haven't had meatballs in a long time."

My father nodded and said, "Gwen will be back by the time I finish cooking. Don't forget to surprise her."

I will definitely do that.
