Chapter fifty:

It's been two weeks since our holiday. The school was becoming hectic every day we were getting calls asking to enroll a new student. Our max capacity was probably 40 children and we were nearing that. It was becoming a real problem as we just didn't have the staff to cope it with. I tried to get in contact with Hope Van Dyne and Pepper Potts but they were to busy. I had asked Mary Jane Watson cause Peter Parker was busy with the Avengers but she was hesitant already having a good job. It was all getting a bit much. So I decided to spice this week up a bit. We were going to have a sports week of sorts just until we could bring in new staff.

It was Monday so I got up around 5 to go for a run to try to clear my head a little. I hear my daughter's voice from behind me.

"What are you doing up?" I said.

"I need to ask you something." Replied Natasha.

"Oh god I don't think I'm the best person to have the talk with can you please ask your mom she's better as this sort of thing?" I said.

"No dad gross stop. I was going to ask if you'll take Maria and I into the city so we can hang out." Replied Natasha.

"Thank God. I'm not prepared for you to be doing that. Ok so what were you planning on doing? And why are you asking me?" I said.

"What did you and mom do on your first date? Because mom says you're the romantic one and I want today to be special." Replied Natasha.

"I found a secret hideaway at the end of the grounds of HQ there was a cabin out there next to the lake. The cabin had a patio where I set up our candle light dinner. I found a Sokovian chef who cooked us a traditional dinner. It was really beautiful. We didn't have the time to really go into the city and we were hiding our relationship from everyone until we were sure it would work so it was perfect for us. It was quite a mature date though Natasha. You should do something that you're both going to enjoy." I said.

"Well we both like women's basketball. Do you think we could go to a game?" Replied Natasha.

"How about we go for a nice meal at the Hard Rock your mom and I will sit at a different table and then at the basketball we'll sit behind you?" I said.

"That would be amazing thank you dad." Replied Natasha.

"I just got played didn't I. I'm not the romantic dad I'm the pushover." I said to myself.

Opening the door Wanda Maximoff was there smiling at me in her robe.

"Am I a pushover?" I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then looked at me confused.

"With Natasha definitely with the boys no." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"I just agreed to take our daughter into the city so she can have fun with Maria. Now that I think about it she probably planned this all along." I replied.

"Let me guess she said she was coming to you cause you're the romantic one." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"Wow I got played. I can't believe it." I replied.

"She's got you wrapped around her little finger." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"It's cause she has your eyes I can't say no to those eyes." I replied.

Wanda Maximoff then got off the bed. "Now are you going to sit there and sulk or are you going to join your very naked wife in the shower?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

I just smiled at her before following her into the shower. Today's event was going to be athletics. We arranged the teams so that there was 5 different ones each with 7 kids. Their abilities were mixed so we didn't have speedsters in one team and all those with telekinesis. We were doing javelin, shot put, (with Captain America's shield), long jump and high jump in the morning and then after lunch we would be doing all the running races and a obstacle course. I was just glad that Natasha and the boys weren't on the same team if they lost they'd blame each other.

Wanda Maximoff was stressed enough as it was already. I was just hoping Fury could contact Hope Van Dyne and Pepper Potts and that Mary Jane Watson would come through. The events were going smoothly by the time lunch came around. Wanda Maximoff had been running around trying to get everyone sorted she hadn't stopped all morning. I then used my red chaos magic to grab her.

"Travis what are you doing?" Said Wanda Maximoff.

"You sit down and have lunch now. Slow down there's no rush. The kids are enjoying the day and we have the rest of the day to get the events done. Please just come and eat lunch." I replied.

"Damn those handsome eyes." Said Wanda Maximoff.

Once she started to eat she was relaxed.

"Thank you." Replied Wanda Maximoff before she kissed me gently on the lips.

Carol and Monica Rambeau then came over to join us.

"Travis has something to ask you Carol." Said Wanda Maximoff.

Carol Danvers then looked at me.

"Ok I got played by Natasha. She wants to take Maria to a women's basketball game in the city and have lunch obviously. Wanda and I would chaperone. Is that ok with you Carol?" I replied.

"Of course. All I want to know is how she played you." Said Carol Danvers.

I then went on to explain the conversation which had us all in stitches at her naivety. We're just finishing up when we heard a loud noise from above us and a strong wind happened it was the jet.

Wanda Maximoff and I then ran over to it. Off got Peter Parker, Gamora, Nebula and Cassie Lang. I then ran over and hugged Gamora.

"Your wife is watching." Said Gamora.

"Thank you for coming." I replied.

"Where do we start?" Said Nebula.

I assigned them all tasks and they all started to help immediately. We made sure Wanda sat and observed for the rest of the day she was dehydrated and overworked. The kids really enjoyed the day. I was so glad neither Natasha nor the boys team won they would've been unbearable.

Bruce Banner did a BBQ for us while the kids had their food in the boarding house and a movie night.

"So what's this I hear about Travis getting outplayed by Natasha?" Said Gamora.

I just rolled my eyes before walking away. Carol Danvers went on to explain the story while Wanda followed me.

"Are you ok?" Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"Yeah I'm just going to need a lot more drinks if I'm going to put up with their tormenting." I said.

Wanda Maximoff then spinned me around and kissed me long and passionately on the lips.

"If they start I'll just flash her the red eyes and they'll panic." Replied Wanda Maximoff.

"That I would like to see." I said.

Instead of sitting on her seat Wanda Maximoff sat on my lap and kissed me long and passionately on the lips. Carol Danvers was about to open her mouth but Wanda just looked at her.

"That's my girl." I replied.

"It's been 13 years and you two are just as disgusting in love as ever what's your secret?" Said Bucky Barnes.

"I mean we try to surprise each other every day not just with gifts but anything really. Always say I love you. You can never say it too much. And always make time for each other. I mean I can't be in love with her and not look at that beautiful face." I replied.

We then said our goodbyes to everyone before going back to the penthouse. Wanda Maximoff then cuddled into my arms thinking.

"I can't believe Peter is going to be a dad. Do you remember when Bucky and Sam used to tease him and we would defend him. It just makes me feel old." Said Wanda Maximoff.

"You're not that old beautiful. You're aging like fine wine. I love you so much Wanda Maximoff." I replied.
