28: Wakanda
"system, if I imagine any place in the MCU, using the StarGate then theoretically I can go there right?" Austin asked while he stood atop a towering building in New York.
[ding!
yes, the host definitely can, but it depends on your strength, for example, you can go anywhere in the MCU which is on earth currently, but if u want to go to different dimensions or far away places like the middle of the universe, more control over your Astral powers is needed] the system replied robotically.
The reason Austin asked this was that previously the description of StarGate said he only needed to imagine where he wanted to go and the gate would take him.
meaning he pretty much didn't even need to search all over Africa looking for Wakanda, he could just basically teleport there since Wakanda wasn't in another Dimension, it was just hidden from ordinary eyes.
Although Austin had a way to get to Wakanda, he still needed to plan on how he could get them to give him some vibranium.
he had previously planned to use his power, not to bully the wakandians but to make a deal with them and help them in their time of need.
Which would happen sometime soon to be exact.
he just hoped the wakandians wouldn't be too mad at him intruding on their territory, if this didn't work he could always just go to the talokans.
"stargate," Austin said calmly as he stood atop the tall skyscraper, his hair blew calmly through the wind while a star gate immediately appeared in Infront of him.
swoosh!
with a light jump, Austin hopped through the stargate, his destination had been set to Africa, precisely Wakanda.
---
Austin appeared above a large body of water and was falling from the air, Usually using a star gate would place him on the ground.
but due to Wakanda's protective shield around its territory his Star Gate could only drop him off after breaking through the barrier.
Austin used his mana to control himself in their air and started to float, in the distance he noticed many tall mountains and grassy plains, but what caught his attention the most was the bizarre and beautiful city that was laid out beyond the docks which were surprised by ships.
the whole scene brought light to Austin's eyes and he looked at the astonishing city.
"Now, to find their king," Austin thought, he couldn't just barge into the city proclaiming to be looking for their king, he could only do it stealthily.
After all, he could avoid fighting thousands of wakandians and just find a chance to calmly speak with their king.
Austin laughed to himself, thinking that this was a good plan, although he would move in the shadows like a shady person once again, what else could he do to avoid an upfront battle with Wakanda's army?
swoosh!!
the winds around Austin became active as he flew through the air, he was like a shooting star as he automatically appeared in the city of Wakanda.
Austin secretly observed the city of Wakanda for hours upon hours.
Their city was usually festive and filled with many wakandians as they strolled through the streets, the city was also usually filled with wakandians guards who were posted around different parts of the advanced city.
As the sun slowly fell, Austin made his way toward the tallest building where the king rested.
---
With Austin's StarGate ability, he could appear anywhere within the palace as long as he imagined.
inside a big hall.
a short-haired African American man in a traditional wakandians outfit could be seen walking around with two guards holding spears behind him.
beside this bald man was T'challa who stood there proudly with a calm expression.
"uncle S'yan, I will take it from here, you have a good night," T'Challa said as he hugged his uncle.
"good boy, I will see you tomorrow, rest well," S'yan said as he tugged on his black robe and walked towards his room, the two wakandians guards followed behind him and stood outside of his room.
Austin watched all of this from a distance, he watched as T'challa left the hall and walked towards S'yan's room.
Although S'Yan was powerful, Austin had nothing to be afraid of, especially when approaching him.
Austin walked through the halls which were barely lit and walked towards the two bald wakandians guards, his footsteps were held back in the slightest as he walked towards them.
"Who goes there"
"Come out"
the two guards lifted their spears and pointed them in the direction of the footsteps.
all they could see was a fluttering robe before their eyes flew back and they fell to the ground, Austin used his mana to control the spears to not make too much noise, and with a Stargate, he stealthily appeared inside S'yan's room.
Austin raised his eyebrows as he saw S'yan seated on a chair with a smile, Almost as if he was waiting for him.
"did you know I was here this whole time?" Austin said with a raised brow.
"no, but you don't seem like a bad person, perhaps you just want to talk" S'yan grinned as he tightened his fists, he was ready to fight at any given moment.
"your right I am not here to fight," Austin said and raised his hands in defeat.
"then come, take a seat, there was no need to hurt my guards," S'yan said with a slight smile.
Austin didn't know how to react, this old man was acting almost as if he didn't care at all about everything that happened.
Taking a seat, Austin looked at S'yan and waited for the man to speak.
"so, what brings you here to Wakanda my friend," The African American man said, Although he looked old, his strength could be felt through just his eyes alone, S'yan couldn't be underestimated.
"I can here to propose a deal to you," Austin said with a sigh, he took off his mask and allowed S'yan to get a clear look at his face.
"ah, a deal? what could it possibly be" S'yan replied calmly, he only raised his eyebrows after seeing Austin's appearance under the dark wooden mask.
