The Eight Gates are chakra locks within the human body.

The more you practice the Eight Gates, the fewer side effects there are. 

At Might Duy's level, he can easily open up to six gates, but he hasn't really mastered or trained them.

Therefore, when his body reaches a certain level of strength, it unconsciously opens some chakra locks.

It's not fully activated, but it has some characteristics.

This is something others can't learn.
