Chapter 45: Chapter - 45
Jordan's POV –
The sun dipped below the horizon, painting the ocean in hues of gold and crimson as the luxury cruise ship glided through the waves toward the Kanto region. Jordan Smith stood on the deck, the salty sea breeze tousling his hair. His thoughts were focused not on the serene view but on the rigorous training schedule he had planned for his Pokémon.
"This is the perfect time," Jordan murmured to himself, clutching a Poké Ball. "Before we set foot in Kanto, we need to refine our skills. New region, new challenges."
He glanced at the cabin where his Poké-Gear rested, its calendar marked with his arrival date in Kanto. "One week," he thought. "Plenty of time to get ready."
Inside the Inner World
Jordan stepped into his Inner World, a unique psychic domain shared with his Pokémon. Today, Jordan had decided to simulate several challenging terrains to give his Pokémon varied experiences.
The Desert Arena
The first environment resembled an arid desert, with scorching winds and rolling dunes.
"Torterra, Swampert, Absol, and Garchomp, you're up first!" Jordan called, releasing the four Pokémon.
Torterra dug its sturdy legs into the sand, its massive tree providing shade to the group. Swampert flexed its powerful limbs, ready to endure the heat. Absol and Garchomp stood at attention, their keen eyes scanning the simulated terrain.
"We'll focus on endurance and precision here," Jordan said. "Torterra, start with Sandstorm to kick things up."
The battlefield came alive as sand whirled around, obscuring visibility. Jordan had each Pokémon practice attacks under the harsh conditions, pushing them to adapt. Garchomp used Dragon Claw to slice through dunes, while Absol perfected Psycho Cut to pierce through obscured targets. Swampert maneuverer with Earth Power, the shifting sands acting as resistance training.
The Forest Clearing
The desert faded, replaced by a dense forest bathed in moonlight.
"Lucario, Vespiquen, and Floatzel, this one's for you," Jordan announced.
Lucario's aura flared as it began navigating the forest with swift, silent movements. Vespiquen flew overhead, her wings buzzing softly as she deployed Attack Order against moving targets Jordan had set up. Floatzel practiced speed maneuvers, darting through a stream that meandered through the forest.
Jordan encouraged them to work together. "Floatzel, use Aqua Jet to guide Lucario to the next target. Vespiquen, cover them with Defend Order if anything gets too close."
The trio moved in harmony, adapting quickly to the terrain's challenges.
The Icy Cavern
Next, the world shifted to an icy cavern, frost clinging to the walls, and a biting chill in the air.
"Lapras, Froslass, and Salamence, you're up!"
Lapras glided over a frozen lake, its Ice Beam carving paths through the thick ice. Froslass hovered ethereally, practicing its Shadow Ball with pinpoint accuracy. Salamence flapped its powerful wings, creating Dragon Pulse shockwaves to shatter icicles that Jordan had arranged as obstacles.
"Precision is key here," Jordan instructed. "No wasted energy, no missed targets."
The Mountain Summit
The final training ground was a rocky mountain peak, buffeted by strong winds.
"Charizard, Rayquaza, Aggron, and Blissey, it's your turn."
Charizard soared through the turbulent air, flames flaring as it practiced Flamethrower and Heat Wave. Rayquaza coiled around the summit, its presence radiating raw power as it executed Extreme Speed drills. Aggron stood firmly, honing its Iron Tail and Stone Edge against simulated boulders.
Blissey, despite her calm demeanor, showed her defensive prowess by using Light Screen and Soft-Boiled to support her teammates.
After hours of intense training, Jordan exited the Inner World, returning to the ship's kitchen. He had a special talent for cooking, and tonight he planned to reward his Pokémon with their favorite meals.
"Let's see," Jordan muttered, donning an apron. "Torterra likes those berry-based salads, and Rayquaza prefers the spicy curry…"
He moved with practiced ease, preparing customized dishes for each of his Pokémon. He added a blend of vitamins and nutrients tailored to their needs, ensuring they were both delicious and healthy. The kitchen soon filled with the aroma of roasted berries, seared Magikarp fillets, and spiced curry.
When the food was ready, Jordan set it out on the deck, where his Pokémon had gathered. They dug in happily, their energy replenished after the day's training.
As the night deepened, Jordan set up a relaxation area with soft mats and oils he had brought along for muscle therapy. Each Pokémon took turns receiving a massage, their trainer's hands skilled at soothing their tense muscles.
"Charizard, you've been carrying a lot of weight on those wings lately," Jordan said, working the oil into Charizard's strong shoulders. "We need to make sure you're ready for the skies in Kanto."
Rayquaza, lying coiled nearby, rumbled softly as Jordan tended to its massive scales, ensuring they were clean and polished. Blissey hummed in delight as Jordan gently massaged her arms, her pink form glowing in the moonlight.
"You all worked so hard today," Jordan said, his voice calm and soothing. "Tomorrow, we'll take it easier—maybe focus on strategy and teamwork."
His Pokémon responded with soft cries of agreement, their bond with him evident in their relaxed postures and content expressions.
As the ship rocked gently on the waves, Jordan sat alone on the deck, gazing up at the stars. He thought about his upcoming journey in Kanto, the challenges that awaited him, and the new friends and rivals he might encounter.
"We're ready," he whispered, glancing at the Poké Balls clipped to his belt. "No matter what Kanto throws at us, we'll face it together."
With that, Jordan headed to bed, his heart full of anticipation for the adventure ahead.
Jordan's POV –
As the cruise ship gently rocked on the calm ocean, Jordan sat cross-legged in his cabin, his gaze fixed on the shimmering interface of his system. A faint glow illuminated the room, and his fingers hovered over the holographic menu.
"Alright," he muttered to himself, excitement bubbling in his chest. "Time to check what we've got."
The interface displayed his resources and achievements, and at the top corner, a notification blinked: '7-Star Tickets: 5'.
The system IS a unique gift—an intricate blend of technology and mysticism that had become an integral part of his journey. It allowed him to train his Pokémon more effectively, access rare resources, and occasionally, acquire Pokémon with special traits. The 7-Star Tickets were particularly valuable, granting him access to the system's most coveted features.
"Five tickets," Jordan said, leaning back in his chair. "I can either save them or...upgrade the system. Let's see what the upgrade entails."
Using the Tickets to Upgrade
He selected the 'Upgrade System' option. The screen shimmered, displaying the potential enhancements:
Higher system modes and easy use.
Increased efficiency for Pokémon training modules.
Access to advanced battle simulations.
Greater customization for Pokémon habitats within the Inner World.
Exclusive opportunities for rare Pokémon eggs.
"That's a no-brainer," Jordan said with a grin. "Time to push this system to the next level."
He tapped the option, and a prompt appeared: 'Consume 5 Tickets to Upgrade? Yes/No'.
With a deep breath, Jordan pressed "Yes."
The Upgrade Process
The cabin was filled with radiant light as the system initiated the upgrade. Lines of code danced across the holographic display, and the interface transformed before his eyes, becoming sleeker and more intuitive. A progress bar appeared:
Upgrading System: 10%... 50%... 100%. Upgrade Complete!
The system chimed: Congratulations, Jordan! The system has been upgraded to Version 3.0. New features unlocked:
Advanced Egg Incubator (different gene Potential Enabled like Alpha, Giant, King, etc.).
Enhanced Inner World Customization.
Legendary Habitat Module Access.
Skill Training Boost for Pokémon.
Jordan's eyes widened as he read the new features. "This is going to be a game-changer," he whispered.
Acquiring Alpha Pokémon Eggs
As he explored the upgraded interface, a new section caught his attention: 'Alpha Pokémon Egg Selection'.
"Two tickets left," he murmured, his mind racing. "If I use them here, I could get two new Pokémon with Alpha traits."
He selected the option, and a screen appeared displaying various Pokémon eggs, each glowing faintly with an aura of power. Among them, two caught his eye:
Alpha {Shiny} Ponyta Egg – A fiery orange egg, with faint blue embers dancing around its shell.
Alpha Squirtle Egg – A shimmering blue egg, with small waves rippling across its surface.
"{Shiny} Ponyta and Squirtle," Jordan said, a smile tugging at his lips. "These two are perfect additions to the team."
He confirmed the selection, and the system consumed the remaining tickets. A warm light filled the room, and two small incubation pods materialized on his desk, each cradling an egg.
Jordan picked up the Alpha Ponyta egg first. It was warm to the touch, and he could feel a faint pulsing energy within. "You're going to grow into something amazing," he said softly.
He then placed it back and lifted the Alpha Squirtle egg. This one felt cool, like a refreshing ocean breeze. "A water powerhouse in the making," he mused, his excitement growing.
Jordan accessed the 'Advanced Egg Incubator' in his system, setting up the ideal environments for both eggs. For the Ponyta egg, he selected a simulated warm meadow with plenty of sunlight. For the Squirrel egg, he created a miniature water habitat with gentle waves and a soothing current.
"They'll hatch when they're ready," he said, carefully placing the pods into the incubators. "No rush. Greatness takes time."
As Jordan leaned back in his chair, he couldn't help but marvel at how far he'd come. The upgraded system, the new Alpha Pokémon eggs, and the promise of challenges in Kanto—it all filled him with determination.
"You're not just a trainer," he thought, his gaze falling on the two glowing eggs. "You're building something incredible."
With renewed purpose, Jordan turned off the holographic display and headed to bed, visions of his future team—now including a blazing Alpha Rapidash and a commanding Alpha Blastoise—dancing in his mind.
Jordan stood at the edge of his Inner World, a vast expanse of interconnected biomes that shimmered with life and energy. This wasn't just any training ground—it was a gift from the divine, a pocket dimension uniquely attuned to his needs.
Ahead of him stretched an array of terrains: rolling meadows, dense forests, fiery volcanoes, icy tundras, and even simulated outer-space environments with low gravity. Each biome had been crafted to challenge and grow the bonds he shared with his Pokémon.
"Alright, team," Jordan called, his voice resonating across the dimension. "Today, we push our limits."
The Training Grounds
Jordan's Pokémon gathered around him, their eyes filled with eagerness. Standing tall among them were Aggron, Torterra, and Rayquaza, who always took center stage during intense sessions. Nearby, the likes of Charizard, Swampert, and Blissey stood ready, while others such as Salamence, Garchomp, and his two Spiritombs loomed in the background, waiting for their turn.
"Today, we focus on strength, endurance, and synchronization," Jordan said, his gaze sweeping across his team. "We'll cycle through the biomes and push each of you to your limits."
The Pokémon roared, cried, or hummed in agreement, their determination mirroring his own.
Biomes and Pokémon Training
The Fiery Volcano
Jordan directed Charizard, Magmortar, and Infernape to the molten volcanic biome. Rivers of lava snaked through jagged terrain, and the heat was suffocating. Here, they would practice their fire techniques, working on precision and power.
"Charizard," Jordan called, watching the massive Pokémon's blue flames flicker. "Focus your Flamethrower on that moving target—hit it with pinpoint accuracy!"
Charizard roared, unleashing a stream of searing blue fire that obliterated the moving boulder.
"Infernape, you're up. Power up your Blaze Kick, but don't lose control!" Jordan instructed, watching as Infernape's flames turned an intense blue, his kicks igniting the air.
The Ice Tundra
Meanwhile, Froslass, Glalie, and Lapras worked in the tundra biome. The howling winds and biting cold provided the perfect environment to refine their ice techniques.
"Lapras, practice your Ice Beam. Froslass, dodge and counter with Shadow Ball!" Jordan commanded.
The two exchanged attacks, their movements precise and fluid, while Glalie worked on strengthening its Frost Breath by freezing a massive waterfall mid-flow.
The Forest Canopy
Torterra, Leafeon, and Roserade trained in the dense forest, honing their Grass-type abilities. Jordan challenged them to synchronize their moves, creating a powerful Grass Knot attack that could immobilize larger opponents.
"Torterra, anchor the roots. Leafeon and Roserade, weave them tighter. Perfect teamwork, guys!" Jordan encouraged, watching as the vines ensnared a massive stone target.
Simulated Gravity Chamber
In the outer-space biome, where gravity could be manipulated, Rayquaza, Salamence, and Braviary practiced their aerial maneuvers. Jordan adjusted the gravity levels to simulate high-pressure situations.
"Rayquaza, dodge that meteor shower simulation and counter with Draco Meteor!" he shouted.
Rayquaza's movements were fluid and majestic, its Draco Meteor exploding with precision.
Jordan's Training
After ensuring his Pokémon were engaged, Jordan stepped into a secluded part of the Inner World, a tranquil dojo-like space where he trained his own body and mind.
Physical Strength
Jordan began his routine by lifting a massive boulder, easily weighing over 800 kilograms. His muscles strained but didn't falter as he completed a set of deadlifts.
"If I use aura or psychic boosts, I could double this," Jordan thought, but he chose to focus on his raw strength first.
He transitioned into weighted squats, push-ups with added resistance, and finally, punching exercises against a reinforced steel wall.
[Aura Training]
Jordan closed his eyes, extending his senses outward. A faint blue glow surrounded him as he activated his Aura abilities. He focused on enhancing his awareness, feeling the life energy of every Pokémon in the Inner World.
"Aura Sphere," he muttered, forming a glowing orb between his palms. He hurled it at a distant target, striking with pinpoint accuracy.
"Aura's getting stronger," he mused. "But there's still so much to master."
[Psychic Powers]
Switching gears, Jordan tapped into his Psychic abilities, levitating several heavy objects simultaneously. His mind felt the strain as he pushed his limits, combining telekinesis with mental shielding exercises.
"Control is everything," he reminded himself, sweat beading on his forehead. "If I lose focus, even for a second..."
To test his reflexes, he simulated an opponent using psychic constructs, dodging and countering their attacks.
MMA Practice
Finally, Jordan moved to hand-to-hand combat. Using the Inner World's simulation capabilities, he conjured an opponent and began sparring. His movements were precise, blending strikes, grapples, and counters seamlessly.
"Footwork. Balance. Timing," he murmured, landing a clean uppercut on his simulated opponent.
As the day wound down, Jordan gathered his Pokémon for a cooldown session. He prepared their meals, carefully tailoring the recipes to their needs.
For Aggron and Steelix, he crafted iron-rich meals. For Blissey, a sweet yet nutritious berry-based dish. For his dragons, high-protein meals packed with vitamins fuel their energy.
"Eat up, everyone. You earned it," Jordan said, smiling as he watched his team enjoy the feast.
Afterward, he began an oil massage session to help relax their muscles and minds. He started with Torterra, working carefully around its massive shell, then moved on to Swampert and Charizard. Each Pokémon visibly relaxed under his care.
"You've all come so far," he said softly. "And there's still so much ahead of us. Let's keep growing stronger together."
As the stars shimmered above the Inner World, Jordan lay on the soft grass, his team resting peacefully around him.
"The Kanto League is just the next step," he thought, determination burning in his chest. "With you all by my side, there's nothing we can't achieve."
He closed his eyes, letting the soothing energy of the Inner World wash over him, ready to face whatever challenges awaited.
