Chapter 48: The Doubting Scientist
Yuki squinted at the chaotic scene in the science lab, still unsure if this was truly her class. Wasn't I supposed to be in some boring math lecture or something? she thought. Her doubts lingered as students around her continued to mold clay for their volcanoes.
The professor approached, his lab coat flapping dramatically. "Ah, you're still here! Excellent! Just in time for the artistry of volcanic anatomy!"
Yuki's brow twitched. "Volcanic what now?"
"You know, the molding stage!" The professor gestured grandly to the tables of students kneading and shaping their clay volcanoes. "We express ourselves through molten mountains!"
Yeah, this guy's definitely lost it, Yuki thought. But, she was already in too deep to back out.
Yuki's Convenient Molding Tool
Grabbing a chunk of clay, Yuki realized she needed to catch up. As her brain scrambled for ideas, she glanced at the perfectly symmetrical mound she'd accidentally created earlier with her chest.
"Huh... Worked once, so…" she muttered, shrugging.
Making sure no one was watching, Yuki subtly pressed the clay against her J-cup chest again. With a squish and a pat, she molded the clay into a new volcano base. She placed it proudly on the table, its unusual shape immediately catching everyone's attention.
The professor's jaw dropped. "Good heavens, it's... It's avant-garde!"
A nearby student pointed, wide-eyed. "Dude, is that... is that boob-shaped?"
Yuki froze, sweat beading on her forehead. "W-what? No! It's, uh, a tribute to nature! Like, mountains are… curvy, right?"
Another student snickered. "Right. Totally nature-inspired."
The Hilarious Reactions Begin
The professor adjusted his glasses, leaning in to inspect the volcano. "Remarkable. A true testament to thinking outside the box! Tell me, young genius, what inspired this... unique structure?"
Yuki waved her hands frantically. "Uh, um, science! Yeah, science inspired it!" She shot an awkward grin, her inner monologue screaming: Stop staring at it like it's a masterpiece, you weirdo!
One student leaned over and whispered loudly, "Is it just me, or does that look like something from a figure drawing class?"
The room erupted into laughter, and Yuki buried her face in her hands. I should've just skipped school today.
Professor's Grand Declaration
The professor clapped his hands, silencing the room. "Ladies and gentlemen, let this be a lesson! Innovation knows no bounds! This..."—he gestured dramatically at Yuki's volcano—"is the future of geological art!"
The class clapped, though some were clearly holding back giggles.
Yuki sighed, slumping in her seat. "Yup. I'm officially doomed."
Little did she know, her "boobcano" would become a school legend.
