In My Feelings

Today is the day that Anna will be brought into my house, normally I thought all those preaching's are meant for girls but I was wrong, mum made sure she sat me down and preached to me on how to behave with her 'daughter' which was so opposite from what I had planned, I just had to nod my head and say okay where necessary to convince her that I was listening to her, she strictly warned me about the girl and I had to assure her that I will take very good care of the girl (which was partially true since I'm not going to starve her or anything of that sort) before she let me go

I actually got quite pissed that mum had to make me almost promise her that I won't hurt this girl when that was the main reason I even agreed to get married to her in the first place When it was time to take her home, I refused to go to her house claiming I had an urgent meeting to attend and when I came in the night with some friends, we just chitchatted abit before they finally bid us good night and went away, I went straight to my room and did my business, then I went to bed

The next day

I woke up early as usual and went to the masjid, from there I went for my morning jog

When I came back, I met the maids in the kitchen and my so called wife was nowhere to be found, I asked them and they said she wasn't out of her room so I sent one of them to go and get her, she soon came back and told me that she will be here soon, I got pissed cause I don't like to be kept waiting

I went straight to her room and just as I was about to knock on the door, it flew open and I was met with a pair of captivating brown eyes, I scanned her but she was putting on a veil, when I met her gaze again, I asked

"What took you so long when I sent for you?"

"I was just on my way" she replied curtly and I got even more pissed if that's even possible

"Don't be on your way, when I for send you, you come immediately do you get me?" I asked in an authoritative tone and she nodded slightly

"WORDS!!" I seethed and she breathed out a small 'yes' and I continued "and also, I won't tolerate lateness, you will wake up early and meet up to my timing, is that clear?!"

"Yes" she said again and I glanced at my wrist watch "now I want my breakfast in 30minutes, the way and manner I don't care" I said sternly and left

I went back to my room and took a shower, then I got dressed and headed out, I adjusted my wrist watch as I walked over to the dining

I liked the aroma I perceived but I masked it up, when I got to the dining, I sat down and she served me while I was typing away on my phone, just as I was about to take a sip of the drink, I saw that it was my worst enemy 'green tea' and besides I am allergic to it

I pushed the mug to the floor making it to break into pieces, I stood up still frowning at the now spilt tea "what nonsense is this?!" I seethed and she looked at me, confused "what is this??!" I snapped

"You asked me to make breakfast in 30minutes and this is the most logical thing I could think of" she defended curtly making my anger boil, I said things to her

The bad and hurtful kind of things

I later left still angry, but I was quite surprised that she didn't make any nasty comments at my insults but it felt good though

But I was still annoyed cause I didn't have breakfast at home which meant I'll have to eat when I get to the office which was something I hated, sometimes I end up staying starved until I get back home

I'm so going to make her pay for this, thou it wasn't completely her fault, but I don't give a damn

When I got to the office, my PA informed me that I had a meeting in 10minutes, so I got my stuffs ready and went to the conference room

An hour later.

The meeting was finally over, it went well and everything happened in my favor, I also had a meeting with Mr. Diego and within 30 minutes I got him to sign the contract, then I talked business with my personal adviser, after that I sat in my office going through some documents when I got a call "You bro" I said as I answered the call, it was Face Time so I could see his expression

"Please tell me it was just a rumor" he said dramatically, 1 frowned

"What is a rumor??"

"That you got married recently" he said trying to convince himself, I sighed

"No it wasn't, I really am married now" I confessed

"What the actual fuck Dave how can you get married without informing me??!" he scolded"Hey calm down okay, look I know I was wrong by not informing you about this but it happened all of a sudden and I had to make an urgent decision and also, I didn't want you to stop or postpone anything just so you could come for my wedding" I tried to explain

"That isn't valid enough, you should've at least told me about it, at least that would be better than hearing it from others, anyways forget about that, so tell me how is she, I know you must be happy about the marriage right?" he inquired with a grin

I scoffed "do I look happy?? Well then let me tell you, happy is the very opposite of what I feel right now" I said, frustrated

"Why?! I thought you guys loved each other" he pointed out and I scowled

"Love??? Wait, who do you think I'm talking about??" I asked

"Elena, who else" he said nonchalantly and I laughed humorlessly

"Seriously! So you thought I got married to Elena, of all people, guy snap back to reality" I smirked as I watched his jaw drop

"If not her then.... who did you get married to??" he asked slowly, I sighed

"Dad's friend's daughter, Anna" I said bitterly

"Hmm, so tell me, is she good?" he asked curiously

"Good" I huffed as I remembered my encounter with her

"Wait, don't tell me you got married against your will" he said with narrowed eyes "Look Daniel, this is a long story and can't be discussed over the phone" I rubbed my temples

"Well good news, I'll be back by tomorrow so be expecting me at your house by noon tomorrow" he announced

"Wow, so does that mean you've finalised the deal" I grinned slightly

"Watcha expect" he said proudly and I shook my head at the typical Daniel

"Okay now seriously, tell me does Elena know about this" he said in a more serious tone

"I don't remember it being part of my responsibility to inform her about my daily activities" I said casually

"Stop saying things like that, she deserves to know about this, how will she feel when she happens to find out" he said

"I don't give a damn how she feels and even if I didn't get married to Anna, I won't have married her anyways" I shrugged and he sighed

" I'll be back by tomorrow, I am so eager to learn more about your new wife and see how you're coping after your parents pushed you out of bachelorhood he grinned mischievously, I glared at him 'there's nothing to learn about her' I grumbled

"Did you say something?" he asked and I shook my head

"Look man, I gotta go, I've got work to do" I said and hung up not waiting for his reply

I went back to what I was doing, and my PA brought in some documents that I needed to sign, I cross checked them and signed

I checked my watch and saw that it was late already, so I got my stuff and left the office and headed home

I went straight to my room, I took a refreshing bath and dressed in a pair of sweatpants and tee, a call came in and I was about to pick when there was a knock on the door

"Come in" I said as I checked the caller ID, it was Elena and I wasn't in the mood to speak to her so I put it on silent

"Excuse me sir, lunch is ready" she said politely and I nodded then she left, I came out shortly and headed to the dining

I've decided a little payback would suffice my hurt ego
