I want to be a Necromancer!

Chapter 1: Goodbye my First Life

Necromancy—I've always loved the necromancer class. In every game I play, I always choose to be a necromancer. Even if the game doesn't offer that specific class, I seek out a character who can summon minions. Why? Because it feels like I'm a boss commanding my minions to fight for me. I've always relished the thrill of summoning troops to charge into battle; it feels like I'm never alone when facing an enemy.

I enjoy commanding my army while playing games on my phone. "Skeletal mages should be positioned at the back of my lineup, with tankletons at the front to shield them. The skeleton warriors will take the second row. Now, let's launch the attack!"

BWAHAHAHA! My enemies are overwhelmed by my summons. They don't even know who to target first! Yes, almost there!

Suddenly….

SNATCH***

"Wait—HEY, MY PHONE! YOU THIEF! Give it back!, you bastard!" I shouted as I chased the thief down the side of the road. "Kuya, block that guy for me!" I yelled ahead at a bystander.

But it turns out he had an accomplice! The thief quickly passed my phone to his partner. I sped up, crossing the street.. I didn't chase the first thief because my focus was on the accomplice who had my phone.

(No way, I won't let you get away, I played hours nonstop just to get for the last level and you'll just ruin that chance for me?!)

"HEY!!!" I shouted as I was running across the middle of the street when, suddenly...

HOOOOOOONNNNNNNK! (Truck honking)

Crash***

"Ugh..." That was the only sound that escaped my mouth as I was thrown by the impact of the truck.

I flew almost ten meters because of the force of the collision. I'm going to die… It's so unfair—why am I so unlucky?

I couldn't move my hands, or any parts of my body. I couldn't even blink. I just stared blankly as my vision spun and blurred. I admit that at that moment, I was terrified because I knew I was going to die.

I didn't know what was happening anymore. I could hear people around me, but I couldn't understand what they were saying.

A woman came to me. As she was aiding me, trying to save me—even though my body was shattered from the impact—she was determined to help.

Tears started falling from my eyes as I whispered a prayer in my mind.

"I wished that if there's another life after this, I could be happy in it. I had so many regrets weighing on my mind. I just wanted my next life to be better… please."

Until finally, everything just went black.
