Chapter 31 Straight Ball Player
Oliver was lying on the bed, feeling a little depressed. He sighed for a long time and tossed and turned. The fabric of his clothes and the quilt made a friction sound. You can imagine his irritability.
"You better have something wrong." Percy gritted his teeth from the bed next to him.
"I have." Oliver immediately turned over and looked at him sideways, with a pair of puppy eyes, pitifully, as if he wanted him to make suggestions.
"Speak." Percy closed his eyes. What complicated troubles did he, a simple-minded man with well-developed limbs, have?
What, is there not enough time for Quidditch training? ?
"Do you remember that Avro Greengrass?" Oliver asked expectantly.
Percy opened his eyes, his eyelashes trembling slightly, "I don't remember."
"That's the one, Slytherin, the one who sat in the same compartment as us before, the one with blond hair and blue eyes, and a nice smile." Oliver explained in a murmur, and Percy only felt it was noisy.
"Remember, what's wrong?" Percy frowned, his Adam's apple rolling.
"I like her." Oliver said seriously.
"Do you know her?" It was Percy's turn to be confused. Oliver, a man who usually didn't care about any girls around him, suddenly said that he liked such things. Moreover, the person he likes is still Aphra. What happened to two people who are incompatible with each other in terms of grade and college?
"I understand, she is kind-hearted, pure, lovely, and loving~" Oliver became more and more excited as he talked, and no longer sleepy at all.
"..."
Percy was even more puzzled. Which of these three words could she relate to?
Thinking back to her previous words of "I just want to discuss "How to Obtain Power"" while pretending to be innocent, where is the innocence and cuteness?
Remembering that she had helped Fred and George handle potion materials and used them to make mischief-related things, how could she be so kind-hearted?
Remembering...last Christmas night, when he put Gryffindor's robe on her twice, and when she leaned against him...Percy's face blushed slightly, and then he sighed. .
"What are you thinking about?" Oliver urged.
"How about you stop liking her?" Percy suggested sincerely.
"Why?" Oliver asked innocently, puzzled.
"...Forget it, it's up to you." Percy turned over irritably, "I'm going to sleep."
"No, please help me think about it, what should I do?" Oliver couldn't wait to pester him and ask questions non-stop. It was like a boy in love.
Percy casually said something, "Look for an excuse to chat with her and ask her out."
"Yes, yes, I can pass 'Lucky'. In fact, it was a rainy day. She squatted there, holding poor 'Lucky', and took good care of it..."
Oliver chattered on and on, and at last he fell asleep from sleep.
Percy couldn't sleep for most of the night.
……
So, during the first Hogsmeade week, Oliver asked Avro out.
This is Aphra's first time going to Hogsmeade.
"'Lucky' doesn't want to eat?" Aphra teased the 'Lucky' in Oliver's arms in confusion.
To be honest, 'Lucky' has grown a lot bigger than other cats under Oliver's care... Who would have thought how skinny and skinny it was when it was a stray...
I can’t see why I don’t want to eat...
Why didn't Avro hold Lucky? It was entirely because her hands would get sore after being held for a while, so she had to let Oliver hold her.
It's too heavy. It's not a cat. It's an iron bludger... or two.
A red cloud slowly rose on Oliver's face, from his neck to his cheeks. He couldn't lie, so it was quite obvious, "Yes, yes, it just doesn't like to eat. Even if I feed it, it won't eat..." Maybe it misses you."
This last sentence was something he found out after consulting several people.
Avro tilted her head and saw through his intentions almost from the first word he said.
She smiled slowly at Oliver and winked at him.
"Does it miss me?" Avro stretched out her hand and followed Lucky's fur, and Lucky gave a comfortable "meow", "Or maybe its owner misses me."
Oliver stood there awkwardly, not knowing how to answer the question. He only learned one sentence, and his friend swore to tell him that after saying that sentence, the girl understood it and was too shy to respond.
No one told him that Avro would answer like this. He had some doubts about his group of friends. Are they reliable? No, next time he has to find someone with a girlfriend, other singles are not reliable.
Seeing that Oliver didn't answer for a long time, Aphra was a little worried. Was she teasing him too much? Was she so shy?
"Well," Avro was about to comfort him, "Actually..."
"That's right." Oliver thought, just admit it. What's the difficulty? "I missed you."
Avro coughed slightly, a little unnaturally.
She changed the subject, "Put down 'Lucky' and let it walk on its own. It's really quite fat."
"Oh..." Oliver bent down and put down Lucky. Lucky immediately lay down. Oliver relaxed his arms. He was indeed a little fat...heavy.
Avro stared at his strong arm for a long time, then turned her head silently.
The two spent a day shopping in Hogsmeade. Oliver accompanied Aphra to visit every store. After all, she had never been there before.
Oliver has been here many times, but he has no objection to visiting these familiar shops again.
"Do you want to eat this?" Afro picked out a piece of honey candy from the bag of candy she just bought and shook it in front of him.
"think."
Oliver's hands were full of large and small bags of things, mostly bought by Avro, but he volunteered to help her carry them.
Avro tore open the wrapping paper, and with a thought in mind, she brought it to his mouth, "No."
Oliver smiled shyly and ate the candy with her hand.
On this day, the relationship between the two became completely different from before. They began to be reserved. In other words, they became pretentious.
Aphra has thought that Oliver is a cute boy countless times.
This feeling seems a little bad.
She bought a lot of cat food for Lucky, and when she handed it to Oliver, she repeatedly told him, "Don't feed it so much in one go, or you'll get used to it..."
"Okay, okay, I'm definitely not used to it."
Oliver walked Avro to the door of the Slytherin lounge in one breath before returning her things to her. As soon as Aphra took these things, she felt her arms feel heavy.
"Ahem, thank you for today... Go back early and have a good rest." Avro pursed her lips and smiled.
"You too!" Oliver waved stupidly and left with three turns.
