Chapter 19: Flying Thunder God Merges Into Uchiha Style

In a secluded courtyard of the Security Department, specifically designed for entertaining guests, the sound of frightened deer could occasionally be heard in the distance. Uchiha Fugaku, putting down his tea bowl, sighed as he looked at the young boy standing before him.

"I really didn't expect Yuma-kun to grow so quickly after awakening the Sharingan," Fugaku muttered, clearly impressed.

He was genuinely moved by Yuma's rapid rise. Only a short time ago—less than two months—Yuma had awakened his Sharingan and now, here he was, having been promoted from Genin to Special Jōnin. But what truly shocked Fugaku wasn't just the rapid promotion—it was the aura of threat emanating from Yuma. This, combined with the cold murderous intent he sensed, confirmed the reports he had heard. Yuma had defeated one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, Biwa juzo, a feat that was no small achievement.

In Fugaku's eyes, Yuma was no ordinary genius. He reminded him of the great Uchiha Madara, someone who had awakened their Sharingan as a young man and eventually became a monumental figure in the Uchiha clan's history.

Yuma, pretending to be embarrassed, scratched his head. "No, no, all my current strength is thanks to being Uchiha. I will never forget my family's support for me."

Fugaku smiled, pleased with his response. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. With Yuma's recent rise, there was a slight concern about the weight of the Uchiha clan diminishing in his heart. After all, the boy was now under the Hokage lineage's wing. It seemed likely that the village would treat him well.

But Fugaku had other plans. If Yuma continued to perform well in the village, it was essential for the clan to offer him support and reinforce his loyalty to the Uchiha. There were resources at his disposal, and Fugaku intended to use them to ensure the Uchiha's continued prominence in his life.

Just as Fugaku was lost in thought, Yuma spoke again, hesitating before asking, "Lord Fugaku, I need your help with something."

Fugaku, eager to lend a hand, quickly replied, "If you have any difficulties, don't hesitate to tell me."

Yuma, looking somewhat embarrassed, continued, "During my mission, I realized I need a better weapon. As I specialize in Uchiha-style ninjutsu, I need something that can conduct Chakra. So... I was hoping to borrow some money from you to get it."

Before Yuma could finish, Fugaku smiled warmly and interrupted him. "There's no need for that, Yuma-kun. You don't have to pay for the weapon at all. The clan will take care of everything."

Yuma blinked in surprise. "Ah?"

Fugaku continued, "We know you usually use a sword, right? We'll have one crafted for you by the finest artisans in the Ninja Village. Once it's ready, the Ninja Cat will deliver it directly to your home."

Yuma stood there, speechless. He hadn't expected such a generous offer, especially for a weapon that could conduct Chakra—an expensive material.

The shock was enough to leave him dazed, and after finishing his conversation with Fugaku, he made his way home in a state of confusion.

Days passed, and it was now five days after the meeting. In a training ground deep within the Forest of Death, Yuma sat cross-legged under a large tree, contemplating his next steps in training.

He had mastered many techniques by now—Uchiha-style Fire Jutsu, ninjutsu, throwing techniques, and even a wind-based jutsu with pressure damage. Additionally, he had started working on Space-Time Ninjutsu—Flying Thunder God!

At this point, his fighting style was becoming more defined. He wasn't the kind of ninja who relied on stationary power, like a turret. Instead, his combat approach focused on speed, using Uchiha-style ninjutsu and high-speed movement. This strategy centered around rapid, fluid action, and it was this dynamic style that Yuma aimed to refine.

"That's it! Since my style is similar to Namikaze Minato and the future Shisui, both of whom excel in high-speed combat," Yuma thought. "I need to integrate Flying Thunder God into my techniques before my next mission. I feel like I'll need it, and if I master it, I'll truly enter the realm of an Elite Jōnin."

His premonitions about the upcoming Third Ninja War weren't misplaced. With war on the horizon, Yuma knew that being unprepared could mean death. The reality of the world he had been reincarnated into hit him hard: no matter how strong you were, if you weren't careful, a simple kunai could take your life.

"That's why techniques like Flying Thunder God are so valuable," Yuma mused. "They let you strike without getting hit in return. A true cheat move."

His thoughts were interrupted by the growing excitement to train.

A few days later, in the same training ground, Yuma's skills were on full display. He was clad in black, moving like a blur as he practiced his technique. Sparks flew as his Chakra-coated ninja sword sliced through the air.

"Moon Flower Slash!" Yuma called out, the blade releasing a massive wave of flame that surged forward with terrifying force.

Boom!

The wave of fire tore through the trees ahead, cutting them in half with a single swipe. The flames clung to the burning trunks, causing them to catch fire.

"Huh~" Yuma exhaled in satisfaction, sheathing his sword after the attack.

For the past few days, he had been experimenting with combining Flying Thunder God and Uchiha-style ninjutsu, and he was pleased with the results. His progress had exceeded his expectations, and he knew he was on the right path.

Yuma felt a sense of growing power as his training evolved, shaping his skills into something formidable. With a new weapon from the Uchiha clan and his refining techniques, he was well on his way to mastering the arts he had set out to conquer.
