Sakura woke up feeling refreshed as if she woke up from the soft fabric of a bed. Looking around as everything was unfamiliar to her knowing she was somewhere else not in her home. Remembering what happened hours later she freaked out as she rushed out the room. To see the man that saved her from her brother.

"Sakura your up! Here have some food, I went to get some nice breakfast takeout"

Putting a bag filled with breakfast, Sakura eyed him and at the food. Not sure what to do but she stopped. 

*growl*

Sakura blushed hearing her stomach growl.

"Eat up before it gets cold"

Seeing his gently smile something within her felt relieved, safe and warmth from him just smiling. Sakura sat down and grabbed the food tray. 

"Itadakimasu"

she gently bowed and ate up. Ford looked at her to help someone like her was nice. Sakura then after she finished eating felt something different about herself. Her magical energy had stopped weakening as if she was slowly not feeling the weakness of not being able to use magecraft. 

Sakura's brow's furrowed thinking that something has happened. But one thing she didn't sense was Zoukens parasitic worms that where living inside of her feeding of her energy. Not knowing that it also feed on her carnal impulses. 

'It feels like now, I can commit to what, I want to do'

Sakura put her hand on her chest where her heart was. Tears started to trickle down her face. She didn't feel the disgusting things inside of her. A vessel for a monster she was about to be,

"Y-You did this?"

Looking up to Ford, Sakura knew there was no other person with her yesterday. She was shocked seeing how everything of her being was now cleansed of darkness. 

"It is my doing...a pretty girl like you shouldn't cry"

He had a cloth on the table and wiped her tears away with gentle affection. He was human and he did wish to change her fate of misfortune. 

"Thank you!, thank you!"

Sakura sniffed as she not felt normal. Gazing at his gentle smile and then feeling his arms wrap around her exuding warmth she had once lost. It brought her arrays of emotions as she felt safe and protected. 

Ford stroked her head whispering comforting words.

"It's alright, I just saw something bad, I couldn't really not help but step in"

Sure, for Ford he would do it to anyone stepping in solving a problem that was represented in front of him. But outside of that he couldn't really care much. Saving people that he didn't see in his sight wasn't his problem. In the vast multiverse and countless worlds. Besides the world of fate was pretty overwhelming for his current state.

He wouldn't mind helping if it was close to him. Like some random scene of husband abusing wife. A monster attacking a person. But saving the world that was not his job. Now that he can travel to worlds. He could find somewhere to fully live at after finding his sister. Not caring whether the world he goes to has the fate of dying.

"But how?"

She stopped crying tears of joy as she was curious to know. The man before her was definitely powerful. If he could just heal her during the night. 

"I'm just a person roaming around looking for his sister"

"Sister?'

Intrigued to know more Sakura eyes had a look of curiousness. Ford chuckled as they were in an intimate position. 

"Mhm, I have a sister who I'm trying to find"

"Are you from a power clan of sorcerers?"

"Sorcerers....well not exactly"

"Well I'll show you come with me since, healing you are able to use magecraft"

He was right about that but then she felt his arms stop wrapping around her. Feeling the warmth gone a inkling feeling that she didn't like. Frowning, Sakura then felt herself be lifted slightly to the ground. As her eyes widened to what position they were in. Her face turned beet red as if smoke almost came out of her head. 

"O-O-Ok!"

She stuttered as she looked at his teasing grin. Putting her head down as she became shy. 

"Lets go"

Sakura was shocked at his power. He showed extraordinary magic use and strength. Especially his speed that vanished from her eyes. The reappearing as he holded a giant scythe over his shoulder. 

"Does that answer your question?"

"Yes....I never seen such display of combat..."

Sakura knows of how this world was ruled for mages/sorcerers. There was rarely any fighters unless it was a summoned servant. Something she got to know during zoukens mistreatment.

"Well this is where i'm good at my sister is almost like me but more base on magic"

Sakura saw his face showing a tinge of sadness then a smile formed full of affection that thought of his sister. 

"Your sister...is she in danger? Where is she?"

Curious at the same time slightly jealous of who his sister was. Sakura never thought she would feel like this. That smile was definitely more bright when he mentioned his sister. His tone was soft it carried the type of affection that she once saw in her mother.

"Hmmm....what would you say if, I was just traveling world to world to find my sister?"

Ford gazed at the sky. Sakura again was in for a surprise as she was dropped another bomb of news. The man in front of her was not from this world. 

"So you're on a journey to find her...."

"Indeed i'm and it won't take long to go hop to a new world as my spacial magic is on a bottleneck, I need to wait about...."

Pausing at the end gathering his thoughts about how much time is left for him to leave.

"Like 1 month and One week and slight change?"

Sakura expression turned gloomy seeing how he was leaving so soon. 

"So soon?.."

For some reason she didn't like it. Like someone punched her in the gut as her heart felt a pang of hurt. Here he was saving her from a painful fate. Healing her and caring for her even if it's a day. She enjoyed it and felt free from those chains binding her. 

"Mhm....I don't mind telling you as it has a cooldown of two months before, I can use that magic"

The scythe disappeared from his grasp. As he turned and gave her warm smile. Sakura being told this now saw what this meant. 

But is she committed to already wanting to join on his journey? Her mind thought of her friends and classmates then her dead parents. As the imagine of a young boy with orange hair was fading from her mind. Replaced with the man in front of her. 

A fire and light to her life. That burned bright probably even brighter than she could ever see. She wanted to get closer feel that warmth and not be cold nor feel darkness creeping around her. 

"Well that's it and don't you have school?"

Sakura flinched at that and remembered she didn't go to school today. She then was conflicted at the idea whether she should go or stay with him.

'Maybe even be with him....closer....'

A desire and impulse was growing strong that was going to become something more. Ford seeing her complicated expression stroked his chin.

"Well if you want you can stay with me as long as you don't go back to your home, Don't want you to suffer there by that shitty brother you have"

"Can I?"

She always had to ask for permission for things and did what was right. Being a good girl and never disobeying. 

'Can I be selfish?...Is it possible for me?'

"Be selfish for once and don't worry about school not like your going to die or anything"

Ford joked and Sakura smiled as she giggled at it. She liked it and to be selfish for once. She wanted to do that for the longest. 

"Can you teach me to become stronger?"

Ford didn't expect this as he crossed his arms contemplating. He wouldn't bless her but he could train her in the physical spec. A powerful sakura fighter who can throw hands wasas quite amusing for Ford to think.

Sakura had a hopeful look on her face. 

"Sure but if I'm training you...you won't go to school after, I leave"

"Hai!"

She was gleeful but in her heart hearing those words made her feel another pang of pain. As she a desire and feeling sprouted from within.
