God Level Farmer In Another World

Chapter 90: Chapter 90: Vincent's Death

Chapter 90: Vincent's Death

The night was dark, and the moon hung high.

A biting cold wind swept through the desolate outskirts, mirroring the chill in Vincent's heart.

His eyes were wide with horror, jaw nearly dropping to the ground.

Everything happening before him was beyond what he could have anticipated.

He had brought eight security officers to kill Willard Smith—six at E-rank and two at D-rank.

Now, all eight were ensnared by Willard's vines, and their skin visibly shriveled under his gaze.

In the vast, empty countryside, their agonized screams drowned out the wind!

How did Willard become so strong?!

C-rank? No, he must be B-rank!

This was impossible!

Willard's venomous gaze met Vincent's panicked eyes.

Suddenly realizing the danger, Vincent bolted back to his car.

Starting the engine, releasing the brake—it was all one smooth motion.

But the car wouldn't budge.

Terrified, Vincent stuck his head out the window and saw that all four wheels were wrapped in black vines.

Willard, having dealt with the officers, was now approaching Vincent with a look of utter satisfaction.

"Move! Move, damn it! Please, just move!"

Vincent was on the verge of a breakdown.

Sweat poured down his face, his hands trembling uncontrollably.

Willard's vengeful face appeared outside the car window as he tapped on the glass.

"Knock, knock, knock."

"Get out."

Vincent knew that if he got out, he'd likely face a grim fate.

And he knew that this ordinary car door wouldn't stand a chance against a B-rank powerhouse!

"I'll say it one more time! Get out!"

Willard's voice had turned harsh, full of threatening intent.

With a grimace that was more of a pained smile, Vincent opened the car door and stepped out.

His mouth moved, struggling to find the words, until he managed a nervous laugh:

"Willard, congratulations on awakening your new talent.

Why didn't you tell me sooner? Didn't treat me like a friend, huh?

Didn't you want to join the main bureau? I'll get my sister to bring you in right away!"

As he spoke, Vincent shakily took out his phone.

Willard slapped the phone out of his hand, sneering:

"Thinking of calling your sister to save you?"

Vincent gulped, shaking his head vigorously:

"No way, Willard. Why would you think that?"

With a flick of his finger, Willard's Blue Silver Grass wrapped around Vincent, binding him tight.

Willard stared into Vincent's eyes, his voice almost trembling with rage as he demanded:

"Why did you treat me like this?!"

Sensing Willard's intensity, Vincent's own voice shook as he stammered:

"Willard, what do you mean?"

Willard's face twisted as he recalled recent events.

He shouted, his voice cracking with fury:

"Vincent!

I became your lapdog, even let you sleep with my wife!

Haven't I done enough?!

Why did you treat me like this?!

At the auditorium of East Port Elementary, you humiliated me in front of everyone for that person!

If he was important, fine, I could understand!

But why did you keep beating me even after he left?!

How am I supposed to live in Bluewater after this?!"

Only now did Vincent remember—besides Welma, he also had Alexander as a potential savior!

Alexander wanted to bring down his own sister and surely wouldn't let Vincent die!

If he stayed off his phone for too long, Alexander would notice something was wrong. He would know Vincent's situation by now!

Stay calm!

Stall Willard!

Taking a deep breath to steady himself, Vincent said:

"I was doing it for your own good. You have no idea how terrifying that person is!

Even my sister wouldn't dare cross him!"

Willard scoffed, clearly unconvinced:

"Fine, then tell me, why did you try to arrest me today?

All the dirty work I've done, wasn't most of it for you?

You really didn't know?"

Vincent quickly replied:

"It was all my sister's idea! She wanted to curry favor with Director Jonathan, so she planned to hand you over to him!"

Willard's eyes went wide, the whites showing as they nearly bulged from their sockets.

In his mind, Welma was his own personal asset, his woman.

And now, his own woman was willing to sell him out to curry favor with another man.

This was worse than betrayal; it was humiliation of the highest order!

A bitter, enraged smile appeared on Willard's face as a green light pulsed in his hand, manifesting as a single seed.

[Second Soul Skill: Parasitic Seed]

The seed in Willard's hand glowed with a sinister purple light, enhanced by the power of his Venomous Strike talent.

With a wave of his hand, the seed entered Vincent's brain.

He wouldn't let Vincent die so easily.

Willard's venom carried many types of common toxins, including one with a particularly addictive, vicious effect.

This was a combination of his two talents: Parasitic Seed and Venomous Strike.

Willard intended to plant the seed in Vincent's brain, using the venom to control him, turning him into a slave.

Not only would he get his revenge, but he'd also gain a powerful tool to use against Welma.

Vincent, panicked, asked:

"Willard! What did you do to me?! Don't kill me!"

Willard sneered:

"I won't kill you. I still need you to help me take down Welma.

But although I won't kill you, I'll make you wish you were dead!"

Vincent, filled with hatred for Welma, thought bitterly.

If she hadn't pushed him to investigate Ethan Blake, he wouldn't have ended up under Alexander's control.

If she hadn't pushed him to capture Willard, he wouldn't now be under Willard's power.

The cause of all his suffering was Welma!

"Willard, if you want to go after Welma, I can help! You don't need to waste your power on me!"

Vincent quickly offered.

Willard glared, irritation flashing in his eyes:

"Do you take me for a fool? You'd betray your sister to help me?"

Vincent nodded earnestly:

"Yes, because I hate Welma just as much!"

For some reason, Willard found Vincent's words surprisingly convincing.

But with the poison already planted, why risk trusting him?

With a thought, the parasitic seed in Vincent's brain stirred.

The venom's power began to unleash.

Like many terrifying drugs, the first exposure caused intense pain, followed by a craving to alleviate it.

It wasn't exactly addiction—it was more like a desperate need to escape the agony.

The venom would destroy the brain, causing its host to experience constant pain that only subsided when the venom was reapplied, creating an overwhelming sense of relief and satisfaction.

From the depths of hellish pain to a sudden paradise of pleasure—that was the insidious nature of this venom.

However, just as the venom began to work, an emerald-green flame within Vincent's mind sensed the invasion.

If the venom was a rat, the flame was the cat.

Almost instantly, Vincent felt the parasitic seed in his brain incinerate under the power of the green flame.

The flame that had haunted him for countless nights… had just saved his life!

Vincent looked toward his phone on the ground with newfound hope.

The mysterious figure was here to rescue him!

Willard noticed the anomaly and followed Vincent's gaze.

The phone.

Could it be that Welma had left a safeguard for her brother?

He wasn't sure if he could even defeat Welma at this point.

As Willard's anxiety mounted, the phone suddenly exploded, burning to ashes.

Vincent's expression froze.

"W-what… what does this mean?"

He muttered, an ominous feeling washing over him.

"Aaaaahhhh!"

The green flame began to wreak havoc on Vincent's mind.

The agony was as if a red-hot needle had pierced into his brain, twisting and turning.

Vincent's face contorted, a mix of pain, confusion, and disbelief.

Why was this happening?!

The mysterious figure wanted him dead!
