GIVE YOU MY HEART [BL]

Chapter 53: LET IT OUT

-Haruka POV-

"Well, I'm not sure I should tell you or not, but Louis is leaving for America at 11 tonight." Levi said that softly, and I was nearly taken aback. Why would he tell me that?

"And why are you telling me that?" I asked him. Knowing that he hates the relationship I had with Louis before, of course I'm a bit surprised he's telling me that now.

"I don't know. To be honest, just the thoughts of you and Louis talking to each other makes me hate it, but right now, it's just that I feel like I had to tell you. My father mentioned Louis' name this morning, and I noticed your reaction. Mr. Auclair, you didn't really show it, but I know you're a kind person. Louis hurt your feelings and even broke your heart, but I know deep down inside you don't really hate him. At least that's what I thought. That's why I'm telling you this." Levi's words are not that poetic, but it's the first time I heard him talk like that, so I didn't see this coming.

"Is that all?" I don't know what to say, so I just asked again.

"Well, maybe. I don't know, but it's just that I feel like you may need to lift up something that you've been keeping on your chest." That sentence is simple, but it hit me hard. It feels like he could read deep down inside me.

"Then I'll think about it. You might need to go now, sir, or you're going to be late." I tried to change the topic, and he looked at his watch.

"Right. I'll get going first. See you tomorrow, Mr. Auclair." With that, he left.

As for me, I need to go back to my office for now. As I am walking, my phone vibrates, indicating a message. It's Hanabi.

Hanabi: Oni-chan, don't forget that you promised to hang out with me after work today.

Me: I didn't. I'll pick you up after 5.

Hanabi: Alright, onii-chan! I'll be there before 5 XD.

I smiled at the message she sent. I told her I'm going to pick her up. Tch.

I put my phone back in the pocket and continued walking. Something that I need to lift up from my chest huh? Maybe there is something.

"Onii-chan!" Out of nowhere, Hanabi hugged me from the back. She really did come before 5.

"I told you I'm going to pick you up. And how did you even come up here?" I looked at her, and she just grinned.

"Hehe. Lauren helped me, of course. And I did tell you that I'm going to come before 5. Didn't you finish your job already? Did Levi-san leave already?" She asked, and I looked at her, raising my eyebrows.

"Why are you looking for him?" I replied to her question with a question.

"I'm thinking about inviting him too. You know, as a thank you for bringing you back." She grinned.

"So, are you thinking about treating him?" I asked a question again.

"Of course not. It's on you today." This kid, I'll flick her forehead later.

"Then don't think about inviting him. He's not here right now, so just forget about it. Let's go." I grabbed my coat from the hook and was ready to leave the room.

"Ah, really? He left work early, I guess." Hanabi said so.

"He usually does not. He had a meeting at 4 pm, so he just thought about going back home right after the meeting." I don't know why I'm explaining this to Hanabi right now.

"You sure know a lot about him, right?" She looks at me with a mischievous smile.

"I'm his secretary, and of course I would know." I glared at her and pressed the lift button. Luckily, we don't need to wait long for the lift.

"Yeah, you're his secretary, of course you should know." She repeated my words and rolled her eyes. This kid. The lift arrived at the lobby floor before I could even reply to Hanabi's words.

"Isn't that Mr. Auclair's younger sister? What is she doing here?" Someone spoke.

"She's really pretty, just like her brother. I guess those DNAs only run in their family blood." Another one joined.

"Right. If people didn't know their relationship, people might think they're a couple." And yes, the third person joined in.

"Hanabi, did you come here without wearing a mask or cap on purpose? And who sent you here?" I asked her. But actually it's better this way, or people might really think I'm going out with someone if Hanabi came here wearing a mask.

"Sebastian sent me, of course, and I didn't feel the need to wear a mask or cap that's why I didn't. Why? Should I wear them? I did bring them, actually, just in case." She asked, looking at me.

"No. No need. On second thought, it's better this way. It's just that people have been talking about us right now since you're here. That's why I told you, It's better for me to pick you up at the hospital." I said that to her while holding her hand for her to follow my lead.

"Ah, no worries. They know we're siblings, right? What is there to be afraid of?" Hanabi said that and looked at me.

"It's not that I'm afraid, you idiot. I just don't like it when people talk about me." I flicked her forehead.

"You know what, onii-chan? Just let them be. People will always talk about you because you're an extraordinary person, so you should get used to it by now." She walked in front of me as we reached the car.

"I didn't ask them to talk about me." I unlocked the car, and Hanabi got in along with me.

"Then don't be a genius." She rolled her eyes.

"Tch. Just forget about it then. So, where are we going now?" I asked her, changing the topic.

"Ah, let me put in the address. Okay done." I look at the location she put in. 'Blissful Bites'?

"A new dessert cafe?" I asked her.

"You're right. Since both of us have sweet teeth, I thought we should go together." She grinned, and I just smiled.

"Well, that's good for me. Even though I already had enough dessert for today." I mumbled to myself.

"Really? What dessert did you eat today? When? Takeaway?" Hanabi began to ask. I shouldn't have said that in the first place.

"A lot. During lunch at the restaurant." I answered her. My eyes locked on the road.

"Hmm, did you eat with Levi Ackerman then?" Her words nearly made me press the break suddenly.

"I ate alone." I answered her, eyes on the road.

"You know you're bad at lying, right?" She countered me.

"Then don't ask. I'm not interested in answering that." I replied.

"Then I just assume you ate with him." I can see she's smiling through the corner of my sis.

"It's up to you then." I answered, uninterested.

"Say, onii-chan. Did Levi Ackerman buy you a German Chocolate Latte today?" Hanabi asked out of nowhere.

"And why are you asking me that?" Since it's a red light, I look at her.

"Of course. I was the one who told him. So, I expect he will buy it for you." Hanabi said so proudly. Tch. This kid.

"And who asked you to make a deal with him?" I asked her. The lights are green now, so I began to focus on the road again.

"No one asks. I did that on my own will since he promised me to bring you back. So, did he buy it for you?" She asked again.

"I told you I'm not going to answer a question like that." I said while looking for the empty parking.

"Ugh. You're no fun, onii-chan." She pouted.

"Hai. Hai. We arrived at our destination. Would you like me to open the door for you, young lady?" I replied, ignoring her pouting.

"Tch. No need. Ikimashoo (let's go)." She gets out of the car, and we enter the cafe together.

"Welcome. Would you like to eat here or takeaway?" One of the staff asked as soon as we entered the cafe.

"We would like to eat here. And, if possible, do you have any spots that are a bit far away from the others? We need some privacy, you see." Hanabi asked the staff, and she just smiled.

"Let me show you the way, miss." The staff said that politely, and we just followed her to the table.

"Is this table okay, miss?" She asked when we arrived at the table.

"Perfect." Hanabi said with a smile, and we took a seat.

"You may order by scanning the QR code here." The staff said, showing the QR code on the table.

"Alright, thank you!" Again, Hanabi thanked her.

"You're welcome. Please let me know if you need anything." The staff bowed and left the table.

"You scan the menu and just add anything you want." I said as soon as the staff left.

"It's on you, right?" She asked while grinning.

"Yeah, it's on me. You're just going to take my card anyway." I rolled my eyes.

"Arigato, onii-chan." She said that and kept looking at the menu and ordering everything she wanted.

"I'm done choosing. You wanted to add something onii-chan?" She asked.

"Just add a hot chocolate for me." I replied and looked at my phone.

We just finished watching a movie at the cinema. Hanabi kept nagging me to watch the new movie with her because everyone has been talking about that movie lately. This kid, I thought we're just going to eat only. I look at the time on my watch. It's almost 10. My mind keeps thinking about what Levi told me this afternoon.

"Onii-chan, you kept looking at the time. Do you have somewhere you need to go? Am I keeping you for too long?" Hanabi asked

"Say, Hana-chan, how long it takes from here to the airport." I asked her.

"About 40 minutes, I think. Why do you ask?" She asked me back.

"Louis will be going to the States tonight."

"Then, are you going to meet him?"
